We had a blast staying at The Standard Hua Hin with our 3 months baby boy! Staff went beyond expectations by providing all things we needed in the room for our baby (Baby crib, bathtub…) Great location, amazing food and super brand new hotel. I also got the chance to try the spa and it’s incredibly beautiful with super skilled masseuse. Looking forward to be staying here again!

Veldig stilig hotel. Fantastisk frokost og fint ved bassenget/stranden. 10 min å gå til night marked. Litt lite treningsrom, men ellers ingenting å utsette på hotellet,

Had a great time at The Standard Hua Hin. It's a beautiful property, very spacious and well designed. Free yoga classes in the morning, and great food at the juice café, pool side and Praca. Hua Hin itself isn't that interesting, but this hotel makes it worth a visit, especially if you're coming from BKK and want a few days away.

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Trendy, clean, quiet, amazing food. They prepared our room for our baby prior to check in with everything we needed, even a bottle steamer. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and highly recommended. The cocktails at the pool were a bit expensive and the call button provided at cabanas did not work. Would love to return one day.

This is a beautiful little enclave with a great breakfast and a really great dinner restaurant. Private pool/bar area walks down to the public beach, if you’d like to buy nicknacks. Hotel feels smart and modern with a surprisingly competent gym and some cute-savvy architectural elements. Room was well appointed (BT speaker, usb ports, minibar) Staff was really great and the food was smart and delicious. Some of the bird recordings are overplayed.

We chose The Standard Hua Hin for a couple of days of downtime within easy reach of Bangkok at the end of a trip across Vietnam and Cambodia, and it fully lived up to the photos. The entrance is just as striking in person. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and although we arrived early, we were delighted to be upgraded to a private pool villa. The villa was spacious, spotless and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom generous and luxurious, and we especially appreciated the pour-over filter coffee instead of a standard pod machine. The only small drawback was that the TV system didn’t appear to allow HDMI access, so we couldn’t connect our own device. We had lunch at Lido by the pool — fresh, well-presented food and excellent cocktails. The pool area is lovely, set by the beach with attractive gardens and shaded areas, although there could be a few more sunbeds. Breakfast offered a strong mix of Asian and Western options. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Praça. Overall, a stylish, relaxing stay and an easy five stars from us.

From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. From the entrance to the beach, the hotel's design was close to perfection in every little corner. The room was normal , but the toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, and bedding exceeded the standards of a five-star hotel. The restaurant and pool area were absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed lounging by the poolside every morning and afternoon. The whole design was trendy, with a perfect combination of bright yellow, blue skies, and lush green trees. Just looking at it made me feel happy. The hotel offered a great semi-buffet breakfast, which was quite enjoyable. Every staff member I encountered had a warm and friendly smile. I particularly loved the Thai restaurant by the beach, which stayed open until midnight. I had the option to dine indoors, on the terrace, or on the beach. Every evening, I would sit on the beach, gaze at the stars, sip my drink, and work. It was truly a delightful experience. The only drawback was that the room doors seemed to be not heavy enough and couldn't close on their own. I often found myself struggling to close the door after entering the room. Additionally, due to the hotel's proximity to the beach, the rooms were quite humid, and the bedsheets felt damp.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel, particularly given its reputation. The room I was allocated had a strong smell of mould. After raising this with staff, I inspected six other rooms, only to find they all had the same issue. Eventually, I settled on a room where the smell seemed less noticeable, but within a day, the mould odour returned. I repeatedly reported the problem, but the only response was to clean the room. This made no difference, as the mould issue clearly ran deeper. Despite being out for most of the day, both my partner and I fell ill during our stay. We experienced dizziness, nausea, and significant weakness, which we strongly suspect was caused by prolonged exposure to the mould. While the staff were pleasant, they were completely unequipped to address such a serious problem. Their response was superficial and did nothing to resolve the issue. Given the health risks and the lack of an adequate response, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. This experience was shocking, particularly for a brand I had previously held in high regard. I would stay here again, and I advise others to avoid it altogether.

We stayed at this hotel for a week, thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful resort landscape, quiet comfortable room, very personable services. The hotel is spotless, in a very new condition everywhere, tastefully designed, plenty of private seating areas either facing the ocean or surrounded by lush tropical landscape. Customer service is very professional & attentive. Every hotel staff is respectful & always acknowledges us with a smile. Once our breakfast was delivered late, we came back to the hotel room that evening saw a hand written apology with a fruit plate & two fresh coconuts, the next morning both of the managers from F&B and client service apologized in person, and brought us free breakfast as their kind gesture. We are beyond impressed of how much the staff care about their services & their clients. Thank you for taking such great care of me & my family! The Standard hotel was our sanctuary during our visit in Hua Hin. We travel extensively & are very specific about our accommodations. We would rank this hotel on par with top boutique resorts in the world, great attention to details, stunning design inside & outside, top notch customer service. Nice place about a third of the rooms than the Marriot down the road. I liked the pool and that it was not too crowded. The pool is very nice. Had a third story balcony room. The room had everything we needed. Bed was firm but not a brick. GF and I slept well every night. We were able to get a grab any time of the day from early morning until late evening. The beach was fantastic right off the pool. One night a beautiful full moon and just sat in chairs enjoying the Gulf of Thailand. Not too many negatives that I can think of. Breakfast was good enough but not fantastic but not bad either. They could have had a few more swimming pool cabana umbrellas although there was shade enough without them. Walked on the beach and cut through some alley by the Hilton which had bar after bar and walked our way to the night market which was a fun outing. Took a couple of other 2 hour outings to check the malls and the mountain area out at the end of the beach. I would stay here again. Staff were always pleasant. Did not care for the pizza at lido’s but did enjoy a meal at the other restaurant.

The room had everything we needed. Bed was firm but not a brick. GF and I slept well every night. We were able to get a grab any time of the day from early morning until late evening. The beach was fantastic right off the pool. One night a beautiful full moon and just sat in chairs enjoying the Gulf of Thailand. Not too many negatives that I can think of. Breakfast was good enough but not fantastic but not bad either. They could have had a few more swimming pool cabana umbrellas although there was shade enough without them. Walked on the beach and cut through some alley by the Hilton which had bar after bar and walked our way to the night market which was a fun outing. Took a couple of other 2 hour outings to check the malls and the mountain area out at the end of the beach. I would stay here again. Staff were always pleasant. Did not care for the pizza at lido’s but did enjoy a meal at the other restaurant.

We chose The Standard Hua Hin for a couple of days of downtime within easy reach of Bangkok at the end of a trip across Vietnam and Cambodia, and it fully lived up to the photos. The entrance is just as striking in person. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and although we arrived early, we were delighted to be upgraded to a private pool villa. The villa was spacious, spotless and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom generous and luxurious, and we especially appreciated the pour-over filter coffee instead of a standard pod machine. We had lunch at Lido by the pool — fresh, well-presented food and excellent cocktails. Nice clean room and a beautiful setting for a hotel. My only problem was when I booked it I saw a picture on the website and it looked like I would see the beach. I stared at a tree at the inner courtyard with a deluxe suite I had no idea where I was in the world but if you walk five minutes, you’re at a beautiful beach and swimming pool, great hotel just don’t book it for the view.

The room was good. I’ll never understand why they don’t build hotels with better insulation for quietness, or why they put windows from the bedroom into the bathroom so that everyone feels awkward when someone uses the toilet. But this hotel was a fair price for the amenities.

Great location, hotel set in beautiful gardens staff. Breakfast was excellent and the Italian restaurant had great food and nice wine. Staff throughout the hotel were charming, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely return to The Standard.

We had a fantastic few days at this beautiful hotel. If it's peace and quiet you want this is the place for you. Nothing like a big corporate chain, instead a beautifully laid out space set in lush gardens with a cool retro vibe. Super friendly staff. Special mention to the wonderful Beau on the front desk who went out of her way to help me with a very lengthy and complicated booking at another hotel in North Thailand. Customer service at its very best. I would stay nowhere else in Hua Hin.

We stayed at this hotel for a week, thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful resort landscape, quiet comfortable room, very personable services. The hotel is spotless, in a very new condition everywhere, tastefully designed, plenty of private seating areas either facing the ocean or surrounded by lush tropical landscape. Customer service is very professional & attentive. Every hotel staff is respectful & always acknowledges us with a smile. Once our breakfast was delivered late, we came back to the hotel room that evening saw a hand written apology with a fruit plate & two fresh coconuts, the next morning both of the managers from F&B and client service apologized in person, and brought us free breakfast as their kind gesture. We are beyond impressed of how much the staff care about their services & their clients. Thank you for taking such great care of me & my family! The Standard hotel was our sanctuary during our visit in Hua Hin. We travel extensively & are very specific about our accommodations. We would rank this hotel on par with top boutique resorts in the world, great attention to details, stunning design inside & outside, top notch customer service. It is a brand-new and spotlessly clean hotel in a city location. It's within walking distance of major attractions like the big mall, night market, and numerous restaurants. We had a fantastic stay at The Standard! The hotel has such a great vibe—modern, stylish, and welcoming. It’s also very kid-friendly, which made our stay even better. The pool and beach area were definite highlights! The beach had calm waves, perfect for relaxing or letting the kids enjoy the water. The pool was great too, though it would be even better if there were more beach chairs available. The location is super convenient—walking distance to two night markets, plenty of restaurants nearby, and even a 7-Eleven right across the street for any quick needs. The rooms were very clean, and the entire hotel was well-maintained. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend The Standard for families and anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable getaway!

Great location and excellent pool. The hotel was nice and enjoyed our stay. Closed to other areas via a walk on the beach. I really enjoyed hanging out at the pool a few hours a day. It was a nice relief from the 110 heat in Kanchanaburi. The hotel was ok value but it was not cheap.

Hotel is really near Hua Hin night market and is also located by the beach. Staff were absolutely fantastic and superb in their service from when we checked in until we checked out. Huge thank you to the staff for making the process smooth and easy throughout especially for our huge group. Would absolutely visit again when Im back in Hua Hin or stay at The Standard Hotels overseas

Wonderful direct beach access, and walkable to plenty of resturants and spa/masseuse etc. Booked this not knowing how "trendy" it is, but seemed to be the quiet season thankfully so didnt have to avoid too many people. Its pet friendly also, which I also didnt realise, so there were times people didnt pick up after their dogs on the grassed areas, which is a sign of bad guests not staff imo.

Nice place about a third of the rooms than the Marriot down the road. I liked the pool and that it was not too crowded. The pool is very nice. Had a third story balcony room. There were a group of young men smoking cigarettes at a table near the restaurants were people eating. The service staff should told them to go further away or in a area were they can smoke far from were people eating.
