Fantastic place, Location was excellent, all the staff nice and very friendly, Everything about my two night stay was perfect. One slight nit pik is i would have preferred another option on the evening menu to chips. Breakfast excellent.

Great stay at Lathkil Hotel. Lovely welcome, the room was spotless and lovely beer. We had a good evening meal, and a good few pints. The breakfast was delicious. Loads of parking for the bikes. A stunning location Nd really friendly staff made for a great stay.

The hotel was lovely, the staff couldn't do any more to help us. The breakfast was very superior to any that we have had in a long time. Our room had an en-suite, coffee making facilities, hair dryer and one heck of an awesome view of the dales. The best part for us both was that they had a bar, so we could venture out during the day and rewind with a few drinks with our dinner.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Comfy (cosy) room with a team that couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely food for dinner… amazing breakfasts… and great range of beers. Absolutely stunning views from the restaurant and outside over the hillside. Highly recommend!

We arrived earlier than our check in time, but this wasn't a problem, we had immediate access to our room. The room was on the small side, but as we didn't have full size suitcases it didn't matter. The 5* award is for being able to sit outside on a sunny evening, with a pint just looking at the stunning view, priceless. Dinner was good but a bit 'chips with everything'. All the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful. There are several walks available straight out of the hotel, the Lathkil dale riverside walk is fabulous. We would definitely stay there again.

We booked a room with a view which was lovely to wake up to. The room was small but clean and had plenty of tea/coffee and milk for our stay. We stayed on a Monday night when the bar and restaurant were closed but this meant we had a very quiet night and a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. The breakfast choice and service was fantastic and set us up for the day.

This was a stay to celebrate our anniversary and I was very pleased with the location and the views. The bar and food was very good. Friendly staff. A little tired in some areas but overall comfortable. Would recommend for walkers definitely as in an ideal spot and will come again

A very enjoyable stay in the most amazing surroundings, with a panoramic views. Our room, 3, was small but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, although I would definitely book a room with a view next time, if available. Fabulous location with lots of walking opportunities from the hotel. The room was very small and compact but very clean with a comfotable bed and nice ensuite. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent the views from the restaurant superb. Food in the hotel on an evening is also very good. Will definitely be hoing back

Lovely accommodation for our walking break. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Could have done with the weather gods being a little kinder but then again it was March in England!! Would definitely recommend!

My wife and myself had a weekend stay at this hotel. The room was lovely with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, service and staff was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Great location with outstanding views, would definitely book at this hotel again.

We have stayed here a number of times and while it is not very fancy it is more than made up for by the friendly staff. It is like home from home. We never look to stay anywhere else when in the Peak District. A real gem in a stunning setting.

We had a lovely stay at the Lathkil hotel, the staff there were very welcoming and accommodating, including allowing us into our room early so we could drop off our things and go for a hike as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was great and the views stunning, would definitely recommend.

Lovely, lovely, little Lathkil. At first, we feared Google was taking us into the wilds of Derbyshire never to be seen again. How wrong we were; Lathkil, originally The Miner's Arms (1828), is a delightful, cosy, and beautifully done up gem. Views of the dales, and of grazing sheep. Easy access to walking trails. Good food. Lovely, lovely, little Lathkil. At first, we feared Google was taking us into the wilds of Derbyshire never to be seen again. How wrong we were; Lathkil, originally The Miner's Arms (1828), is a delightful, cosy, and beautifully done up gem. Views of the dales, and of grazing sheep. Easy access to walking trails. Good food. Friendly hosts. Beware: steep steps to the guest rooms. Would definitely revisit. walking paths, and the hospitality.

My wife and myself had a weekend stay at this hotel. The room was lovely with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, service and staff was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Great location with outstanding views, would definitely book at this hotel again.

Very well located to walk and run around the Lathkil Dale valley. Nice restaurant for dinner as well. Awesome landscapes!

We arrived earlier than our check in time, but this wasn't a problem, we had immediate access to our room. The room was on the small side, but as we didn't have full size suitcases it didn't matter. The 5* award is for being able to sit outside on a sunny evening, with a pint just looking at the stunning view, priceless. Dinner was good but a bit 'chips with everything'. All the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful. There are several walks available straight out of the hotel, the Lathkil dale riverside walk is fabulous. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved the hotel as it was in a remote area, away from the hussle and bustle of city life- it was like stepping back in time. The views from the hotel are amazing Hotel was clean, the staff were welcoming and very accomadatinhg, and went out their way to help you. We will definateky be back, hopefully in the summer to explore more. The only downside, the sat nav didnt pick uo the property and took us on a scenic detour, which is ok but not when its pitch black in December. What shoukd have taken us an hr took us over 2 hrs to reach the hotel. Apparently this is common

Fabulous location with lots of walking opportunities from the hotel. The room was very small and compact but very clean with a comfotable bed and nice ensuite. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent the views from the restaurant superb. Food in the hotel on an evening is also very good. Will definitely be hoing back

Gorgeous views from the breakfast room! Highly customizable breakfast, take your pick from any of the usual items in an English breakfast. Comfortable rooms with a smart TV. Plenty of parking. Small charming village in the Peak District. Highly recommended!

We booked a room with a view which was lovely to wake up to. The room was small but clean and had plenty of tea/coffee and milk for our stay. We stayed on a Monday night when the bar and restaurant were closed but this meant we had a very quiet night and a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. The breakfast choice and service was fantastic and set us up for the day.

Fantastic place, Location was excellent, all the staff nice and very friendly, Everything about my two night stay was perfect. One slight nit pik is i would have preferred another option on the evening menu to chips. Breakfast excellent.

The hotel was lovely, the staff couldn't do any more to help us. The breakfast was very superior to any that we have had in a long time. Our room had an en-suite, coffee making facilities, hair dryer and one heck of an awesome view of the dales. The best part for us both was that they had a bar, so we could venture out during the day and rewind with a few drinks with our dinner.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Comfy (cosy) room with a team that couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely food for dinner… amazing breakfasts… and great range of beers. Absolutely stunning views from the restaurant and outside over the hillside. Highly recommend!

Hotel with lovely view. We ate from the Specials menu where there was a good variety of food. Good real ale too. Lovely and quiet. Only downside was awful WiFi . However tasty breakfast and easy parking.

After a very long walk it was a real treat to arrive at the hotel. A pint outside looking at the amazing view was really special. Our room was small but clean, well equipped, comfortable & had a good shower. Everything we needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely small hotel in a quiet little village with amazing views. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It is a perfect place to enjoy walking or just visiting the lovely houses nearby. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful, and the bar was well stocked with a good choice of beers, offering a range of classic pub fayre. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. Would fully recommend.
