I book this property in reviews and probably my own fault, but arrived early to checkin and was greated with we don’t check in until 3.45pm. Asked is bar open and response was not until 5pm. Asked where could we go in meantime as it was cold and rainy and he suggested lunch at another place. Having lunch thought about it and actually did not stay and instead drove 4.5hrs to Oban to find a nice place and room. Would suggest that the hotel is run by tired people and could not recommend this based on my experience.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and it was a good place to stay. The parking lot is limited but the hotel is not too big so I don't think that will be an issue. It's located right across the way from the ocean so it has nice views. We really enjoyed the attached pub. The food was decent. The room was on the small side but had everything that you need. Overall, a good hotel to stay at!

Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser. Schöner Ausblick. Zimmer ok, praktisch und sauber. Frühstück war gut, auch das Abendessen dort war lecker und empfehlenswert. Es gibt auch ein eigenes Pub - angenehm, da der Ort sonst nicht so viel zu bieten hat. Waren dort nur für eine Nacht.

Room was clean, bathroom looked like it has had a recent refurb. Views over the bay are some of the best we have seen. Staff friendly & helpful. Only slight negative was food service was a bit slow

The room was ok, but no toiletries, the shower did not have a door, the tv was very small. Dinner was ok but very expensive for what is was. Breakfast was a continuous walk back and forth to get things, nothing on the table at all, had to ask for coffee refill. The place was generally dusty and grubby

The staff were brilliant although he kept telling us and everyone else he was the only one in running the hotel and the bar. Our room was freezing cold and it felt like the heating had not been on in days, The main external wall was really wet and damp, this would have not been an issue had the heating been used. There were no instructions on how to heat up the room so we used google. Once the room heated up it was fine and no issue, also the following morning the damp had then dried up.

Das Bett ist winzig, die Matratze durchgelegen. Außerdem ist das Zimmer für ein Deluxe Zimmer sehr klein. Dafür war das Bad nagelneu, gute Dusche, nur leider überhaupt keine Ablagemöglichkeit im gesamten Bad. Personal außerordentlich freundlich.

We enjoyed our suite, which was fully equiped warm and with great character. The term " sea view" was very apt. We will be going back and would highly reccomend it.

Tv in room didn't work. Man did come and look at it but failed. I would have liked a mirror in bedroom. Only mirrors were in bathroom. Need mirror near socket for drying hair.

We loved the place. Would stay there again in a heartbeat if back this way again. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Those meals were great too. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. The only issue we had was a cold shower that never did warm up at all. Presumably a maintenance issue that will be corrected in short order.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Great place to stay, we stopped for 2nights doing the Nc500 road trip and good stop for that. Got a few pubs and Black Pearl restaurant nearby which was ace :) We had a bit of damp by the entrance hallway, which I hope they will sort out.

The rooms have had a make over. We had broken chair in the tv area. We tried to phone about 5 times on our way to property and no answer. The reception is not manned and you can’t get into your room even 15 mins early. Check in 4pm and no one on counter till 4pm. Breakfast starts at 8pm and doors into dining area locked till exactly 8am. Ok but would I stay again? NO

It's located right across the way from the ocean so it has nice views. We really enjoyed the attached pub. The food was decent. The room was on the small side but had everything that you need. Overall, a good hotel to stay at!

Property was clean and Duncan was very helpful. He was only staff member we saw as he was on reception and served breakfast. Hotel was set on a hill so ot was a 35 step climb to get up to it or a walk up the hill along the front of it and parking was limited.

Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser. Schöner Ausblick. Zimmer ok, praktisch und sauber. Frühstück war gut, auch das Abendessen dort war lecker und empfehlenswert. Es gibt auch ein eigenes Pub - angenehm, da der Ort sonst nicht so viel zu bieten hat. Waren dort nur für eine Nacht.

Great, comfortable room with a beautiful view across the loch. A pity that the left window wasn’t cleaned and was covered in salt spray. Restaurant menu was unexciting but our fish and chips were fresh and well cooked.

The hotel was nice and comfortable. Had problems with the restaurant, as it was end of season, and they were looking to “get rid of their old food”. It was not good. Probably in season the food is fine. Aside from the food, it’s a nice place.

Nous disposions d'un petit appartement duplex avec deux chambres. L'ensemble était propre et plutôt en bon état, et confortable. Par contre, nous avons attendu 1 heure au restaurant pour être servi et ce n'était pas terrible.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a mini-apartment overlooking the sea which was lovely. An addition of a fridge would be a bonus but otherwise the facilities were great.

Our spacious en-suite room included a separate bedroom, giving us plenty of space to relax. The hotel is beautifully located on a hillside overlooking the loch, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. The restaurant was very good. We especially recommend the curry and the fish and chips, both of which were excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with a choice of hot dishes from the breakfast menu in addition to the usual continental options. Overall, this is a charming hotel with a wonderful location, comfortable rooms and friendly service. We would happily stay here again.

Absolutely amazing 1 night stay. Lovely hotel. Staff amazing. Food wonderful. Try the curries you’ll not be disappointed Big shout out to the manager James he goes above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and the rest of the staff are fab too. Thank you. Would definitely recommend
