There is no electricity during day time and it’s affects those who are using laptops and iPads. They could have charged $10 more per day and provide electricity to the customers. The hotel is by the beach but no screen when one opens the door. But it’s a good spot for those who enjoy nature.

Beach was cleaned of flotsam early every morning, plenty of security, lovely and secluded. Very safe place. It's a north-facing beach under the mountain between it and the airport, so has clean seas although the sun ia facing away from the sea. Good breakfast choice, and a limited but very good dinner menu.

Me and my wife, we've been to different places in Cap-Haitien. I put Cormier Plage Resort on top. Excellent breakfast daily, sitting on the balcony. The restaurent served excellent food. Don't forget to mention the free pick-up at the airport. We are coming back for the summer.

The staff was very friendly. The bartender made me the best drink and so I spent the day just going to him. Everything I needed I just raised my hand and he came over. The food was very delicious. The beach beautiful. The only thing that’s missing is a pool. Over all great experience.

Clean room, welcoming staff and good beach. Only issue I had was with the mosquitos at breakfast and the massage hut. They do bring the massage to your room if you ask but I think it should have been proactively offered. All-in a good place for a relaxing time in Cap Haitian.

Usually when I go to this resort, the employees are really friendly, genuinely happy. So the last time i went, that lady named Rose did a really bad job at welcoming me. She was rude, incompetent. So if i’m paying big money to go to a place, to spend time to a place, you’re not expecting me to stay to a room lesser than what i paid. So she gave me a room if i recall, room 17 which was not even clean and mostly it was not matching the price i paid on expedia. So, when i went to her to explain the situation and that I was not going to sleep in that room, i showed her the receipt and everything. She was tellig me oh that’s not the price she saw on her computer. So I was like there’s a discrepancy somewhere. Because on my phone, my receipt, my bank account said that i paid that much for 6 nights, and you’re telling me it’s lesser on your computer. So i was like can i speak to a supervisor, she was catching big attitude. Like if you’re not qualified to do something, it’s okay to get help. So after waiting for a good minute, she was like all the rooms are booked she can’t move people from their room to accommodate me. Meanwhile, i booked with them since the 13th of may. So i was like i’m not sleeping outside nor do i want to go to a different place. She was like huffing and puffing. After a while, she’s like i got 2 rooms you can check, so i went and picked out 1. The room felt like nobody has stepped inside for a good minute. There was no water to flush the toilet, etc. It was bad

Our stay fell short of expectations. While the property has potential, basic service standards were lacking. Many staff members appeared disengaged and frequently focused on their phones, which made it difficult to get assistance — particularly at the beach bar, where we waited more than 15 minutes without service. The rooms could benefit from updates. Ours had a musty smell and cracks around the window seals that allowed mosquitoes to enter, which made the room uncomfortable. The beach area also needs attention, as several chairs and umbrellas were broken or left scattered around. It’s worth noting that there is no hotel transportation offered, so getting around requires outside arrangements. Additionally, loud music played late into the night (around 3:30 a.m.), and the noise carried into the room, making rest difficult. With improvements in staff attentiveness, maintenance, and guest services, this hotel could offer a much better experience. Unfortunately, during this stay it did not meet expectations.

It is a nice property, but it needs renovation. The ocean is amazing. The food, the electricity were limited, maybe due to the current situation in the country. Too much flies around the facility. Great staff. Despite of all the inconvenient, I enjoyed the bar, the acra and the ocean.

It's a nice place, but don't forget to bring your insect repellent!!! Think to also bring your own soap, cause they only give half of an Irish spring bar soap...unbelievable!!! Be ready to not have water when you want/need to shower or flush after you.

The beach is beautiful and lots of it - a few steps away, and the staff keeps it clean and safe. An amazing vista from beach, walkways, and restaurant. Very peaceful and calming to sit and relax by the sea. Our Family Suite was spacious, clean, and quiet - with a great view from the balcony! The rooms had plenty of drawers, closet and storage space for our use, and lots of comfortable seating. The price was an amazing bargain! The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast - ordered from a wide selection - was perfect. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent. Hot water was always working in our shower and sink. The beds were quite comfortable. Daily maid service was a plus. I will be back, for sure! Suggestion - put in a pool on the west side of the restaurant. That would make your resort the absolute best in the area - beyond question. The only complaint is that communication between the bar and food staff is terrible, and we practically had to beg for service each time we sat down to eat. The bar staff refused to tell the servers we were there - even when we asked them to! Some of the staff at the bar were quite rude and purposely ignored my friends who were with me. Mr. JB, your resort would have more business and make a higher profit if you solved this problem. All other staff were very friendly and helpful. Great job!

The service is here was utterly atrocious. My family and I stayed here for 3 days and did not see one employee smile the entire time. Unfortunately, they are much more concerned with the beach guest visiting for the day from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship then their actual hotel guests. One night we sat in the restaurant and after 20 minutes my wife finally went to the bar to try and order food because we had yet to be waited on. The bar tender took our order to the cook and the cooks exact words were "I'm too busy, I can't serve them." ARE YOU KIDDING ME! You cant serve the guest that paid to stay at the hotel??? Plus one night they had a DJ that blared music from 10pm all the way until 7am. What kind of normal functioning hotel does this? This is just a beach, the resort has died a lomg time ago.

Me and my wife, we've been to different places in Cap-Haitien. I put Cormier Plage Resort on top. Excellent breakfast daily, sitting on the balcony. The restaurent served excellent food. Don't forget to mention the free pick-up at the airport. We are coming back for the summer.

I stayed at that hotel 3 times. The airport pick up was included. One time I waited one hour and half in the unsafe Cap Haitien airport, second time I waited ten minutes and took a taxi. When I talked to the owner he basically said- if you do not like my hotel and services, go somewhere else.

The service is here was utterly atrocious. My family and I stayed here for 3 days and did not see one employee smile the entire time. Unfortunately, they are much more concerned with the beach guest visiting for the day from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship then their actual hotel guests. One night we sat in the restaurant and after 20 minutes my wife finally went to the bar to try and order food because we had yet to be waited on. The bar tender took our order to the cook and the cooks exact words were "I'm too busy, I can't serve them." ARE YOU KIDDING ME! You cant serve the guest that paid to stay at the hotel??? Plus one night they had a DJ that blared music from 10pm all the way until 7am. What kind of normal functioning hotel does this? This is just a beach, the resort has died a lomg time ago.

The experience was quite underwhelming. The staff often appeared unhappy, and it always felt like I was inconveniencing them. After spending a week there, I felt unwelcome throughout my stay. I won't be returning. The only positive encounter was with the friendly chauffeur who picked me up from the airport. We were 17people at the restaurant we had to beg for some white rice.

I recently stayed at Cormier Plage Resort and overall was pleased with the experience. The staff were very friendly, from the owner to housekeeping to the kitchen staff. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. But a special mention goes to Greg, the head bartender. He was fantastic! Not only did he serve up exceptional drinks, but he also made every interaction fun and memorable. The resort itself was beautiful, but it’s truly the people who make Cormier Plage a place worth returning to. I would definitely stay here again—thanks to everyone for a wonderful experience!

Beach was cleaned of flotsam early every morning, plenty of security, lovely and secluded. Very safe place. It's a north-facing beach under the mountain between it and the airport, so has clean seas although the sun ia facing away from the sea. Good breakfast choice, and a limited but very good dinner menu.

The beach is beautiful and lots of it - a few steps away, and the staff keeps it clean and safe. An amazing vista from beach, walkways, and restaurant. Very peaceful and calming to sit and relax by the sea. Our Family Suite was spacious, clean, and quiet - with a great view from the balcony! The rooms had plenty of drawers, closet and storage space for our use, and lots of comfortable seating. The price was an amazing bargain! The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast - ordered from a wide selection - was perfect. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent. Hot water was always working in our shower and sink. The beds were quite comfortable. Daily maid service was a plus. I will be back, for sure! Suggestion - put in a pool on the west side of the restaurant. That would make your resort the absolute best in the area - beyond question. The only complaint is that communication between the bar and food staff is terrible, and we practically had to beg for service each time we sat down to eat. The bar staff refused to tell the servers we were there - even when we asked them to! Some of the staff at the bar were quite rude and purposely ignored my friends who were with me. Was really nice! Staffs were really nice and accommodating. The beach was to die for... but make sure to bring a bathing/swimming shoe - i got cut a couple of times from broken bottles laying at the bottom of the beach! Besides that, you will no worries. No problems with security! You feel safe and secure... P.s. if you need to see around town, ask for babi. He will be someone walking around selling coconuts (tell him jimmitry sent you)

I would recommend the hotel to anyone Planning on visiting Cap Haitian. The staff was very well manered and the owner very respectful down to earth and easy going. The only issue that I had was with this “manager” who was overly aggressive over a requested song. Relax bruh

The outdoor facilities were great. We did not get the ocean view room that we had reserved. When I brought that up at the reception I was told that no other room was available . It seems that the hotel staff just emptied a room that was being used as a storage area and threw us in it. Night lamps were non functioning, the patio door could not be locked, windows were broken, the head of the bed was being supported with a roll of toilet paper, there was mold everywhere in the bathroom and the closet smelled very moldy. The resort should halt all overnight accommodations until all the rooms are completely renovated. No other traveler should have to go through what we experienced
