I always wanted to stay here and finally got the opportunity to. The place was amazing, Close to the falls, views from the balcony of the smoke that thunders, animals and the staff was great. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Close to shops and restaurants in town as well

Great location and great staff. Walking distance to the Falls. Saw a baby elephant and hippos grazing on the property. Could be challenging if you just want to hang out around the property and have peace and quiet. The constant buzzing of helicopters above from the tours is ever present during the daytime hours. If you are fine with that, you should be okay.

WOW! So pleased we chose Ilala Lodge. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and have balconies to view the visiting Elephants, Baboons & Mongoose. Food is awesome and staff were warm and welcoming. We will be back!!
