We loved our stay at the Middlebury Inn. It was cozy, quiet, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect - close enough to easily walk to downtown Middlebury. The property is beautifully maintained, with lovely landscaping and gardens, and the delicious buffet-style breakfast each morning was a wonderful bonus. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Vermont!

The Swift House Inn was a wonderful place to celebrate my friend’s 75th Birthday! From the moment we checked in with Rachael to our check out with Cassie it was perfect. Dinner at Jessica’s was excellent and so was breakfast. The staff was amazing, everyone we came in contact with was happy to assist with anything and they were sincerely happy to be there!

We stayed in one of the rooms in the Carriage House (as opposed to the Main House). It's by the road but wasn't too loud. The grounds are impeccably kept, with beautiful flowers and veggies growing everywhere. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast (shout-out to Linus for being the most friendly and welcoming server!). Beautiful porch spaces for eating and relaxing, including a great screened in porch off the back of the Main House where we enjoyed the sunset. The room was not huge but the bathroom was nice. The decor is funky and more on the modern end, so if you're looking for a traditional Victorian vibe, this isn't it. We enjoyed learning about the history of the home and the area, and catching a glimpse of Griswald, the Official Inn Cat.
