Lamplighter Cabins & Suites

I called the reservation line to get the number for this facility- (Maybe post it somewhere?)The shower was clogged and they fixed while I was at a Graduation. I like the no- contact policy.

Specific parking for the unit. We didnt use anything it kitchen but it looked like had all one would need!! Nice open room. Large bathroon Staff very friendly.

Property is a series of small cottages with kitchen ( fridge/stove). Very convenient for someone who prefers to dine in . It was clean with designated parking spots that can accommodate a full size pick up . The furnishings are fairly retro and the unit itself was very clean . Appreciated the coffee and cream by the fridge and the rest of the necessities to maintain your stay. Located on an area with restaurants, grocery stores , gas stations . The cottage has its own window heating / cooling unit which can be a touch loud if you are a light sleeper . For the price it is a good value. Only stayed the one night as I was passing through area .

We were not impressed with our stay at all. The reviews we read made it seem like it was a great property that was clean and comfortable. Our unit was far from that. The parking spot we were given was covered in diesel and you could tell that the cleaner had walked through it and into the unit. When we got into the unit it smelled so bad from the fumes and gave us all headaches. The walls had big spots of paint that had cracked and fallen off. The floors were grimy and dirty. The shower needed to be clean and had a crusty shower curtain on it. We paid for the three bedroom unit. Everyone had to just sit in their beds because there was no where for us to all sit together. The beds were not comfortable. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I was really disappointed in this property. The last straw came when the voltage in the room was either too low or faulty wiring and my $200 hair dryer was damaged and can no longer be used because of it. I highly recommend a different property unless you like the feel of an old Boy Scout camp cabin.
