The location of the hotel was good and our room had a great view of the ocean. The beach was easily accessible. The rooms had been tastefully updated however we experienced several negative things in the room: 2/5 lightbulbs worked in the bathroom, one bed had dirty/stained sheets and the mattresses are shot. We had the worst nights of sleep!! I mentioned it to the staff when we checked out and they apologized & said that shouldn’t happen (referring to the burnt out bulbs and dirty sheets).

DO NOT COME HERE This property is falsely advertised from start to finish. Breakfast is awful. I am serious this food is prepared with water and water only. Very bland. Bacon was so thin and not cooked thoroughly. I was told because I booked online I was not going to get the room that I spent money for! I offered to pay more but she said they couldn't accommodate. I felt judged because of the choice to book online. The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been and was very small. The bathroom and room itself was also very dated. The tub was basically falling apart. At checkout, I asked the attendant how many of the bathrooms was as advertised on Google, hotels.com, and tiktok and she said we only have one of those rooms ( jacuzzi tub and glass shower sunrise suite)! This let's me know that no matter how much money you spend online the probability of you getting that particular room is slim to none. Balcony was not private at all!!!!! If by privacy they mean that you wont be able to see over the dune then maybe I guess!! This place has a lot of room for a massive update. Please upgrade Housekeeping DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!

What a welcome surprise! We were in for a hoa meeting, and our condo was booked, and shutters was a much welcome get away. Will definately be back or reccomend!
