Fantastic location. Our room was set up with a full kitchen but no utensils, towels, plates etc so largely pointless to have the kitchen. Floor tiles were loose throughout, no amenities such as lotion, tissues. Desk staff friendly, room was massive. Across from the palace and minutes to restaurants and shopping.

The building is well maintained and is aging well, just across the way from the Royal Palace and the royal theatre/opera house next door. A wonderfully efficient staff fulfills every request. This is in a charming area far from the bustle of the city.

Très belle chambre, spacieuse, propre. Bon accueil, personnel souriant. Le gros bémol : l'ascenseur qui ne fonctionnait pas pendant notre séjour de 4 jours ! Chambre au 5ème étage .. après des km de marche toute la journée c'est très dur et ce n'est pas normal .. A part ce point, beau séjour.

A localização é incrível! Perto de tudo a pé. De frente pra pontos turísticos muito importantes. Você já começa o dia olhando para lugares lindos. O atendimento na chegada foi muito bom, ela foi gentil, divertida e educada. O quarto estava muito limpo, roupa de cama de alta qualidade assim como as toalhas. O box para banho é um pouco pequeno e o hotel é antigo. Mais eu recomendo.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right across the road from the royal palace and a metro station just round the corner. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very happy with my stay here and if I was to return to Madrid for another holiday I would be more than happy to stay here again.

El único detalle del que no estoy convencida es del baño, sentía que podía morir si no estaba atenta al subir o bajar, y el piso de la habitación que se movía, me daba miedo el que pudiera tirar alguna lámpara o caer🙊😅

Localização incrível! Pegamos quarto com vista para o Palácio, que é linda! Pertinho do metrô e de fácil para se deslocar à pé. Atende o que propõe. Obs: quarto bem amplo comparado à media da Europa.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right across the road from the royal palace and a metro station just round the corner. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful and excellent location. Best thing about the place! Next was the staff…very friendly, accommodating, attentive. Our room was huge and looked like it had been recently remodeled to suit a family or longer stay; there was kitchenette with a high table and stools, a sink and cabinets with some kitchen-type items but no stove. Although the bathroom was modern and very clean, it was oddly tiny compared to the main room. And we had a single window in the corner that looked down into the atrium, so the room was just dark. Other than those quirks, we enjoyed our stay.

A challenge to find the lobby to start off with, but a warm welcome was given. On returning to my room 106 early evening l could hear the noise of a really load extractor fan, so loud that even with ear plugs in you could hear it. I spoke to the man in receptor and he said it would stop around 23:00 and that was that - asked for a room change but nada - very little concern for what must be a regular occurrence as it can from a restaurant kitchen below

Très bon emplacement - chambre spacieuse et conforme au descriptif - Personnel agréable et qui parle même français - Dans mon cas très bon rapport qualité prix mais il est vrai que le tarif peut être très élevé donc mon avis aurait être tout autre si j’avais payé 2 ou 3 fois plus cher donc pensez à réserver bien à l’avance. Je recommande

Wonderful property just across the palace. It was like having the royal gardens in your front yard. Great restaurants around the area. Very easy and safe to walk around at night.

Posizione ottimale, in zona pedonale e a brevissima distanza dalla stazione della metro. La struttura si affaccia sulla Plaza de Oriente, di fronte al Palazzo Reale con vista sullo splendido giardino. Si raggiungono a piedi e in poco tempo le piazze principali del centro e la zona è ben servita per raggiungere dai mezzi per raggiungere le principali attrazioni e musei della città. Hostal davvero oltre le aspettative, con personale gentilissimo e struttura pulita e bel climatizzata. Consiglio, soprattutto per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

A localização é incrível! Perto de tudo a pé. De frente pra pontos turísticos muito importantes. Você já começa o dia olhando para lugares lindos. O atendimento na chegada foi muito bom, ela foi gentil, divertida e educada. O quarto estava muito limpo, roupa de cama de alta qualidade assim como as toalhas. O box para banho é um pouco pequeno e o hotel é antigo. Mais eu recomendo.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right across the road from the royal palace and a metro station just round the corner. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very happy with my stay here and if I was to return to Madrid for another holiday I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Très bon emplacement - chambre spacieuse et conforme au descriptif - Personnel agréable et qui parle même français - Dans mon cas très bon rapport qualité prix mais il est vrai que le tarif peut être très élevé donc mon avis aurait être tout autre si j’avais payé 2 ou 3 fois plus cher donc pensez à réserver bien à l’avance. Je recommande

Lovely little “affordable” (as far as Madrid prices are concerned) hostal in the middle of Madrid in a really nice neighborhood with lotanof cafes and restaurants nearby. The taxi I took frim airport could not find the street as it is a pedestrian street mostly but if you book the taxi to airport via the hotel, the taxi can stop right in front of the hostal and costs 33 euros which is the set fee for an airport transfer. The door to the hostal is not obvious - there is a small sign right besides a big brown door right in front of a café. You enter the door, then turn right, up ancouple of steps to a lift, then to the first floor where the reception is. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. I opted for the cheaper room that was at the top on the 6th floor. It said “bathroom accessible via stairs”. What this means is that it was accessible via a ladder! A little bit unsafe for me to pee at night. It felt a bit like cinderella’s tower. A small single bed. A closet. It was all clean and in good order. I just do wonder how they are able to clean that bathroom! The cleaner deserves a raise for that. Overall I really liked the hotel and would stay again. I know the other double rooms are very spacious.
