Friendly Family feel for a motel attached to the tavern. Tarven had a good feel and as it was open until late undercover parking was secure.

Arrived in the afternoon staff was friendly and easy check in process. Rooms are clean and spacious. Plenty of towels have also has tea and coffee and biccys. And a small fridge all very convenient Parking is great. Plenty of space. Will return when i require great place.

Despite being part of a Tavern and possibly a noise problem we found that not to be case even though our room one of the closer ones. Rooms insulated enough to block out noise. Also toaster and microwave in the room which was great 😊

Room was adequate and clean. Area just outside our room was depressing, but other parts of the motel might have been nicer. Food at the hotel was excellent. One night there were some very noisy clients of either the hotel or motel, the other night it was very quiet indeed. The motel is set back from the road, which is very quiet on weekends, even though it is a major road.

The motel is right next to the hotel with covered parking area. The room was basic but clean & tidy - more than adequate for our needs. The hotel/motel is centrally located & close to shops & food establishments - we found a cute cafe next door where we had breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant ondd red night which was quite nice. Downsides - hotel closes at 4am and the smoking area is on the outside of hotel right near the motel so the noise carries. Then we were woken at 4.15am on the first morning & 4.45am the second morning by a very noisy car (which we assume was a staff member parking in the motel parking). Probably would be better if they parked other side so the sound doesn’t carry as much. All in all, the motel was good value for travellers & we would probably stay here again (& remember ear plugs!)

The room was not clean. Bathroom tap broken, shower shelf filthy, drain was smelly, bathroom window dirty and Wouldnt slide shut without coming out of tracks, bench covered in dried sugar and coffee granules, wardrobe door broken off, bed head light broken, bed like cement it was so hard, no hair dryer provided, toilet moved around when in use, very basic indeed, rubbish bins full outside room, litter in car park not cleaned up. The two staff members we met were lovely.

Unfortunately staff slow for check in, aircon didnt work & 3 blood stains on top sheet where someone had a cut finger & went on sheet whilst making bed, very noisy & uneasy when 2 men in carpark yelling, threatening, swearing on & off nearly 2hrs

Room wasn’t cleaned good. Dry snot on the wall. Fridge shelves dirty and hair in it. Hand print marks on door. Shower room shelves had a big like public hair ball on shelve, under shelf had some dirt under. Shower cubicle dirty areas. Men’s undies hanging in tree outside the window. Tv plug wasn’t working right, had to work on it to get signal.

While room appeared renovated there were dead cockroaches and paper left under vanity and insect on sheet. Shower was hard to regulate (one tap was loose) and the outside noise could be heard (other tenants and highway traffic). The tavern restaurant was closed but there were other food places nearby. Back door rattled. Room size was sufficient.

Very happy with the stay and the friendly staff. Problems with payment from Expedia to property, staff here at Moreyfield Tavern have been very understanding and accommodating - Expedia staff still hasn't sorted it out with them.

Paid for a motel room and was up most of the night because of loud and drunk guests staying and the hotel/motel security guard would do nothing!!! So i had to take matters into my own hands by calling the police

I had to check in two hours late as room want ready requested a late check out due to reasoning g of check in was granted a late check out althoughcm cleaners knocked on door at 1030 to say no that's not the case I want you vacated by 11 15 thanks n was quite ruse made a enquiry to front desk but felt uncomfortable and left promptly

Great spot for a few days, lovely staff and meals and comfortable room, just a bit noisy after hours with patrons in the carpark till late, but a welcoming place and we’d stay there again. 😊

Considering the cost of the room, their renos have been very scant. The aircon was dirty, swing & vanes not working. No water in fridge, T-Towel or dishcloth available. Shower head clogged up needs replacing or a good soak in CLR, human hairs on vanity & no toilet brush. Outside unit at back is a lovely quiet area but tables & chairs not clean. It was in walking distance to shopping centre, just as well as the Bistro closed for meals due to reno so we went across the road to get our evening meal. To bring it back & microwave it, after a long day of travel we were looking forward to a nice meal & an early night! We will not be back!

Considering the cost of the room, their renos have been very scant. The aircon was dirty, swing & vanes not working. No water in fridge, T-Towel or dishcloth available. Shower head clogged up needs replacing or a good soak in CLR, human hairs on vanity & no toilet brush. Outside unit at back is a lovely quiet area but tables & chairs not clean. It was in walking distance to shopping centre, just as well as the Bistro closed for meals due to reno so we went across the road to get our evening meal. To bring it back & microwave it, after a long day of travel we were looking forward to a nice meal & an early night! We will not be back!

While room appeared renovated there were dead cockroaches and paper left under vanity and insect on sheet. Shower was hard to regulate (one tap was loose) and the outside noise could be heard (other tenants and highway traffic). The tavern restaurant was closed but there were other food places nearby. Back door rattled. Room size was sufficient.

Check in was great. Room was clean. No bottled water in the room. Other rooms were noisy. Doors opening and closing all night. Orher guests comming back around midnight. Probably not something that can be controlled. My meal as not very good. Had thd ragu and it was dry. The mash was also dry. Flavour was good. Tavrn stff were great.

Basically the room was satisfactory, being clean and the bed comfortable. I liked the breakfast cereal there for us and ample milk. I loved the fact that there was a small basin and detergent to wash up in. I hate having to wash up cups etc in the bathroom sink for obvious reasons. It was also surprisingly quiet considering we were next to the tavern and on a busy road. Things I thought could do with attention. The shower nozzle kept dripping, probably needed a new washer in the tap. The iron base was very dirty and I was unable to use it. The hair dryer in the bathroom was so far away from the mirror, that I had to guess how my hair was being styled😊. The stairwell up to our floor was very dirty and needed a vacuum. It was carpeted. We loved the fact that the motel was so centrally situated and in walking distance to many eateries and the shopping centre across the road. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Don't stay here if you expecting to get some sleep. Rowdy group from the Tavern yelling and carrying on outside the Motel rooms from midnight to 3am. I won't ever be back.
