Unstaffed apartment accessible by a narrow, dingy, somewhat spooky staircase. No visible smoke alarms which is very poor for a 3rd floor apartment with single access. Exit difficult (no instructions on how to get out from inside). Basic, dated fixtures and fittings (though bathroom is modern). On the upside, well located and quiet. We also received info saying that kitchen could not be used in one-night stay ... not obvious in original booking.

The property is a antique building, but the 3 to 4th floor walk up was bad with my luggage. There was a leak in my apartment, had to stay with my sister.

Close to shops and transportation in the heart of Como. Clean and offered all necessities for a pleasant stay. Great restaurants nearby. Safe location and building.

My wife and I stayed here back in May of this year. We only stayed for one night but had a great stay! It was very convenient that we could arrive at any time with the key in a lock box. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. The only downside was the steep staircase and no lift. We opened our windows at night and could hear the charming Duomo Como bells. The restaurant downstairs is so charming and cozy. We loved the location; it was very safe and quiet at night and a short walk to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
