The Stratford Hotel by Hoco Hotels Collection

Bien situé, propre mais l’absence du personnel commence à m’ennuyer. La télévision Roku, c’est d’une complexité écoeurante. La toilette est mal placée à côté d’une colonne structurelle. Je me logerai ailleurs l’année prochaine.

Please do not stay here. First room had a bathroom so small you had to stand to wipe your butt. The second room's bed was very well worn that we sank towards each other. I barely slept a wink. The furniture was awful to sit on. They charged us $30 for the"upgrade." Then the coffee maker didn't work! I need my coffee in the morning! The fridge made such a noise I unplugged it too for the night. Please don't stay here.

I had a four-night stay at the Stratford Hotel. It was an agreeable experience: the room was well equipped, spacious if oddly laid out (the bathtub was off the sitting area and the toilet in a separate room by the bed, plus two sinks!) and the location was good. Breakfast didn’t transpire (maybe that’s only during festival season?) but I parked for free in the hotel lot, which I guess was a compensation. Sound insulation (between rooms and from the street) is imperfect, but they do provide earplugs. I felt this was good value for what I got.

Did not know how to adjust the fireplace but maybe it is not. Nice breeze through the room with windows open.

The room was very clean and the staff were helpful and prompt. My only issue was the heat. The room temperature was 88. I turned tge fireplace off and opened all the windows but tge radiators were still giving off heat. Too hot and tge traffic too loud to keep windows open. Room was spacious and bright.
