Danielle was very pleasant and welcoming. Room was very comfortable, clean, included hot water maker for instant coffee. Breakfast was wonderful treat with breads, jams, ham and cheese platter, yogurt fruit cups and coffee, tea and juices to enjoy. Parking was an added bonus. Very walkable to Mont St Michel or the shuttle stop. Plenty of dining options within walking distance also.

Easy parking, tidy room and cute garden. Definitely walkable to Mt. St Michael but we didn’t because there no sidewalks. If you enjoy the country scenic walk, you will like the walk to the shuttle. The breakfast was nice with happy ladies that will serve you breakfast items. Restaurant in town was excellent.

We walked to/from the free Mont Saint Michel Shuttle stop a few times during our stay with ease and saved a lot from not having to pay the expensive parking cost, which was a big plus. The room was simple but very quiet with everything we needed for a peaceful stay. We arrived late (around 10pm) after the normal check-in time, and the owner (Danielle) was kind enough to leave our room prepared and leave the key inside the room, so we could access it without any issues. We visited in July and it got a little bit hot without an AC, but opening the balcony doors with the shutter down cooled the room while keeping the bugs out. The room had radiators and the warm beddings, if one's is planning on visiting during the winter months. Breakfast was a real treat! We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by our names by Danielle, who promptly seated us and served us delicious breakfast! From their upbeat and cheerful hostesses to their breakfast: homemade jams, choices of breads, juices, assortment of cheeses and ham, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, home-made yogurt/creme brulee, we felt like we were visiting our loving grandma's home. True French countryside hospitality that one cannot easily encounter. They were all so sweet and lovely. In reception, they also sell waters and drinks at very very reasonable prices (lower than some of the convenience store prices), so we stocked up on waters before our visit to MSM. It was a lovely stay, we'd definitely revisit and recommend them

The warmest greeting by Danielle and staff. Set the stage for a wonderful 2 night stay. Fabulous breakfast and lovely clean room. Grounds were absolutely beautiful and we had a picnic lunch there. Our very best stay on our 2 week holiday in France. Highly recommended from two well travelled Canadians.

パリから一泊のモン・サン・ミシェル旅行で使用しました。メインエリアでの宿泊がうまくとれなかったので、比較的観光地に近いこちらに。インフォメーションセンター、バス停から歩いて20分くらい。確かに歩けるがちゃんとした歩道はないし（歩く場所はできてます）何もないので心が萎えそうになる。暗くなったら明かりが何もないので携帯照らして歩かないと危険。 ただ客室は広々としてとっても清潔です。ポットもソファもクローゼットもゴミ箱もあるし、庭もある。アメニティはほぼないが石鹸も石鹸受けがあったり、タオルもたくさん！ 周りもうるさくする人がいなかったので快適にプライベート空間を保てた。 朝ごはんはインフォメーションのスタッフさんも有名だよ、と言われてたのですが、食事場所にオーナーのマダムと一緒に陽気なマダムがスタンバイ。なんと朝ごはんをサーブして頂けた。座っててよくて飲み物もパンもデザートもだしてくださいました。もうお腹いっぱい。ホームメイドのヨーグルト、ジャム、パンナコッタ（かな？）は、とてもおいしかった。また食べたいです。陽気なマダムはフランス語しか絶対話さなかった。 とても快適に過ごせましたがただやはり車とかバイクとかない人はおすすめできない。歩けはするので、宿泊がなくてどうしようもない人やのんびりできる人にはいいでしょう。

Breakfast was delicious- especially Sebastian’s salted caramel sauce and pancakes. Our room was lovely and comfortable - wish we had known before hand our bathroom for room 7 was across the hall. The room was very nice and comfortable. The entire place was very clean and nicely decorated. Great place to stay when visiting Mont St. Michel.

We had a wonderful stay at Les Vielles Digues. The hosts are very attentive and helpful with local recommendations. The room was saviour and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with homemade items prepared by the hosts. Location was perfect for visiting Mont St Michel either by foot or using the free shuttle bus.

Felt most welcome! Very friendly and accommodating new owners! Property has an old Parisian charm. Rooms were spacious. Washrooms were small and could use an upgrade but comfortable to use. Would definitely come back and rent a bike next time! So close to Mont Michel! You could see it from a distance with just a bit of a walk…

What a lovely stay! Highly recommend. The hosts, Sonya and Sebastian, were very warm friendly and helpful (They told us about the next morning's high tides which we would have otherwise missed.) The B&B was a nice and quiet place, a short 5-10 min walk to the bus stop. The room had plenty of space yet felt cozy. Loved the featherbed and loved the breakfast. If we're back this way would love to stay again.

The owners are very nice people. They try to comfort you as a guest. Only minus point is ; we have been there on a very hot 2 nights. Over 30 degrees. And without air condition was difficult to sleep. They have vantilator but it does not hapl if it is too hot. The breakfast is very good. Lots of home made things. Thank you Sonja and Sebastian

The bed and breakfast is beautiful. It is located walking distance to Mt St Michel and the Mt St Michel free shuttles. The owners are super helpful and welcoming. Their breakfast in the morning is delicious and has lots of handmade items. I would recommend staying here.

This place is unique, it is charming and the service provided was outstanding, we felt welcome all the time, the hostess is very kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the chef was so nice and joyful, it was easy to arrive and leave by bus and walk to Mont St. Michel. There are some options for dinner close to this place, this was definetely our favorite hotel in our entire stay in France.

Danielle was very pleasant and welcoming. Room was very comfortable, clean, included hot water maker for instant coffee. Breakfast was wonderful treat with breads, jams, ham and cheese platter, yogurt fruit cups and coffee, tea and juices to enjoy. Parking was an added bonus. Very walkable to Mont St Michel or the shuttle stop. Plenty of dining options within walking distance also.

We walked to/from the free Mont Saint Michel Shuttle stop a few times during our stay with ease and saved a lot from not having to pay the expensive parking cost, which was a big plus. The room was simple but very quiet with everything we needed for a peaceful stay. We arrived late (around 10pm) after the normal check-in time, and the owner (Danielle) was kind enough to leave our room prepared and leave the key inside the room, so we could access it without any issues. We visited in July and it got a little bit hot without an AC, but opening the balcony doors with the shutter down cooled the room while keeping the bugs out. The room had radiators and the warm beddings, if one's is planning on visiting during the winter months. Breakfast was a real treat! We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by our names by Danielle, who promptly seated us and served us delicious breakfast! From their upbeat and cheerful hostesses to their breakfast: homemade jams, choices of breads, juices, assortment of cheeses and ham, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, home-made yogurt/creme brulee, we felt like we were visiting our loving grandma's home. True French countryside hospitality that one cannot easily encounter. They were all so sweet and lovely. In reception, they also sell waters and drinks at very very reasonable prices (lower than some of the convenience store prices), so we stocked up on waters before our visit to MSM. It was a lovely stay, we'd definitely revisit and recommend them

We had a wonderful stay at Les Vielles Digues. The hosts are very attentive and helpful with local recommendations. The room was saviour and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with homemade items prepared by the hosts. Location was perfect for visiting Mont St Michel either by foot or using the free shuttle bus.

パリから一泊のモン・サン・ミシェル旅行で使用しました。メインエリアでの宿泊がうまくとれなかったので、比較的観光地に近いこちらに。インフォメーションセンター、バス停から歩いて20分くらい。確かに歩けるがちゃんとした歩道はないし（歩く場所はできてます）何もないので心が萎えそうになる。暗くなったら明かりが何もないので携帯照らして歩かないと危険。 ただ客室は広々としてとっても清潔です。ポットもソファもクローゼットもゴミ箱もあるし、庭もある。アメニティはほぼないが石鹸も石鹸受けがあったり、タオルもたくさん！ 周りもうるさくする人がいなかったので快適にプライベート空間を保てた。 朝ごはんはインフォメーションのスタッフさんも有名だよ、と言われてたのですが、食事場所にオーナーのマダムと一緒に陽気なマダムがスタンバイ。なんと朝ごはんをサーブして頂けた。座っててよくて飲み物もパンもデザートもだしてくださいました。もうお腹いっぱい。ホームメイドのヨーグルト、ジャム、パンナコッタ（かな？）は、とてもおいしかった。また食べたいです。陽気なマダムはフランス語しか絶対話さなかった。 とても快適に過ごせましたがただやはり車とかバイクとかない人はおすすめできない。歩けはするので、宿泊がなくてどうしようもない人やのんびりできる人にはいいでしょう。

Easy parking, tidy room and cute garden. Definitely walkable to Mt. St Michael but we didn’t because there no sidewalks. If you enjoy the country scenic walk, you will like the walk to the shuttle. The breakfast was nice with happy ladies that will serve you breakfast items. Restaurant in town was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at Les Vieilles Digues very much. The owners are great. They are friendly and welcoming, the property is comfortable and clean, and the location is perfect. We walked to the shuttle on a beautiful morning and Mont St Michel was spectacular. I would definitely recommend visiting early in the day or late afternoon to avoid crowds. I would absolutely stay at Les Vieilles Digues again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

It was amazing. so close to St Michel as well as tons of dining options. The rooms were gear. Breakfast a breeze. The walkway across the road provided easy access. We also got some insider tips for the Mont. would stay there again if we went back.

Breakfast was delicious- especially Sebastian’s salted caramel sauce and pancakes. Our room was lovely and comfortable - wish we had known before hand our bathroom for room 7 was across the hall. The room was very nice and comfortable. The entire place was very clean and nicely decorated. Great place to stay when visiting Mont St. Michel.

The owners are very nice people. They try to comfort you as a guest. Only minus point is ; we have been there on a very hot 2 nights. Over 30 degrees. And without air condition was difficult to sleep. They have vantilator but it does not hapl if it is too hot. The breakfast is very good. Lots of home made things. Thank you Sonja and Sebastian

The room was very clean. The breakfast was filling and nutritious. The hostess and owners of this location were wonderful. They went out of the way to make sure we taken care of. Their genuine warm and friendly manner makes you feel so welcome. After traveling for over 6 weeks through out Europe my husband and I agreed Les Vieilles Digues is on the very top of our list of the best places we’ve been due to Sebastian and Sonia hospitality.

Our stay at Les Vieilles Digues was fantastic! Sebastien and Sonia were warm, welcoming hosts and the breakfast they prepared each morning was absolutely delicious - a fresh pastry served alongside a buffet of breakfast foods of great variety and high quality (muesli, coffee, tea, fruit, freshly made pancakes, yoghurt, bread, conserves etc.) which really set us up for a day of sightseeing in Mont Saint Michel! Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped - the tea and coffee machine in the room was a fantastic touch too! Parking was safe and very convenient being on-site. It was a short drive to the Mont Saint Michel carpark before hopping on to the free shuttle buses to the abbey. If you are looking for somewhere safe, welcoming, comfortable and close to Mont Saint Michel without being in the thick of the tourists (also allowing easy exploration of other nearby villages including Beauvoir) then this is the perfect place for you! Thankyou Sébastien and Sonia!
