When we went to check in because of all the construction going on it was a pain to get to the lobby. The bed was lumpy and the box spring felt broken. Not a place I will go to again.

The property is in a construction phase, maybe things will get better. The room was ok, if absolutely minimal. The carpets were stained. Outdoor walkways dirty and carpets virtually destroyed! Sorry, but I won’t stay again.

I think they put new gravel and it looks very nice.I think they have painted recently which also added an upgrade. I wish their microwave ovens we're more kept up clean. The room was clean.The water was working fine. And the dish cable was fine for viewing. Pool and jacuzzi looked very nice and inviting.

As soon as we got to the room, the room smelled liked cigarettes. The floor and the walls not cleaned. The bathroom was not cleaned, did not feel comfortable showering in. And the mattress was the worst. So dirty it did gross me out. I did not felt comfortable staying in that hotel. I did ask for refund, but for half of what I payed. Staff was nice.

One star is too much for this place! It was absolutely filthy and smelled of stale smoke. The sheets had clearly not been changed. When I asked for two sets of clean sheets (we had to beds), all that was available was a fitted sheet. The "office," which was a walk-up window, also had no clean towels (I didn't trust that the ones in the room were clean). The carpet was so stained and disgusting that I couldn't even tell what color it was. The drapes had cigarette burn holes in multiple places. There was no wifi. I barely slept and couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. Also, two detectives were there when I went to ask for sheets...

It took forty five minutes to get checked in. The room was filthy and in very poor condition.You could tell the hotel had not been maintained. There was blood splatter on the wall and a big hole in the door that led to another room that you could look inside the other room.

To their credit, the staff was very courteous and helpful with a broken door lock, even though they had worked hard to just get me a room at short notice. There were some issues- no phone cable, no waste baskets at all and no remote for the TV. They responded within minutes and soved the issues. The TV, however, was an outdated tube TV and all the video was squished from 16:9 to 4:3 to fit. The beds were oddly lumpy, but still adequate for sleeping. The building and facilities seemed a bit run down, but not too shoddy. Everything was very clean. Even I sound begative, I would gladly stay overnight again.

This was by far the noisiest place I have ever stayed at. Besides the constant roar of traffic on the interstate, there were also airplanes going overhead. Someone was being arrested as I was checking in, which concerned me for safety. I left as early as I possibly could to avoid staying longer.

It's kind of in a ghetto area but super convenient to get to/ from airport for early morning flight. Definitely needs to be updated, especially bathroom but at least shower pressure and hot water was great. TV is old school (not flat screen) and there was no phone or clock in room but at least there was a microwave and mini fridge.

The airplanes coming overhead every 10 minutes made sleeping hard. The carpet in our room and holes in ceilings need fixed. No hairdryer to use and no door on bathroom. Water was also not hot for shower for my handicap husband.

The Good - Rock bottom cost, first result if you sort by price. - Centrally located, right next to the freeway. - Front desk staff was courteous and professional, check-in and check-out was quick and easy, staff responded to all of my concerns. The Bad - It's a motel in a sleazy area, so don't be surprised when your neighbors are the predictable clientelle of junkies, bums, and prostitutes. They have active security patrol at night and I didn't encounter any issues, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anxious about my rental car being broken into. The Ugly - Room was mostly clean, but the carpet was old with a few stains and the curtain was missing a ring or two. Verdict It's a good stay for the price if you prefer to travel on the cheap and you don't mind somewhat spartan conditions.

I would not stay here again, needs lots of maintenance. The chairs were dirty, shower curtain failing off, no shampoo, no hair dryer, furniture drawers can't open, cracks In mosaic floor in bathroom, tears in carpet, cracks in walls, shower faucet leaking.

Granted, for the price you can't complain about it bot beung the Ritz, but some basic uogrades to the place woukd enhance the experience. 1st one: Signage. A few signs to the buikding numbers and whete the top and first floor are will definitely enhance the experience. 2nd: Tv and bed. Get a few 32" flatscreens and a memory foam with a bix spring. It will make sleeping better and the stay more enjoyable. 3rd: Coffeemaker and hot water kettle. Making your own coffee or tea always makes it better. You can eaily ask between 65 and 75 for a room.

Very disappointing overall. No problem with front desk office. It's the condition of the room overall. Dirty carpet and smelly too. The room is supposed to be an accessible room but, the management have no idea of what accessibility is. The door entrance to the bathroom is too narrow. I would guess it's about 26 to 28 inches wide. I would say standard width should be at least 30 inches wide. No bars to hold on next to the toilet nor to the tub. I am a person who use motorized wheelchair 24/7. I manage but, I wouldn't stay there again.

When arrived I was forced to an upgrade that I had to pay for. A friend had said they did the same to him. When arriving into the room there was literately strands of hair all over the pillow as if the pillow cases and sheets were already used and not washed. The carpet was turning our feet black, and the whole room and bathroom reeked of mold. Im more mad because i was forced this upgrade and HAD to pay for it only to walk into a horrible room. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

Long line to checkin and then had to wait 2 hrs for a clean room. When I came back they were cancelling reservations to people that came after 4 and issuing clean rooms to people on the spot. I cut the line and told them why have I been waiting 2 hrs if your just going to issue new rooms out to walk ins on the spot. They made me out to be the bad guy with attitude. Overall the stay and checkin was the worst of my life by far.

Absolutely appalling- 2hours from arrival to getting into room as lock on room door would not work - having to join the end of the line each time I returned to reception with the lobby closed & trying to communicate thru a window with aircraft over head from PHX- then came a shift change- lights out/window closed - despite queuing customers attempting to check in- yes window closed in their face- also got a message from hotel in advance saying nice cafe/lounge next door- et no- it was apparently demolished some time back Subsequent reservation for two nights this week cancelled - don’t see any problem ref your ‘rules’ unless off course truth is nit permitted

Had a reservation, landed in Arizona at 2am went to check in and all that was there was a sign that said “sold out”. No one was there to help me check in.

We arrived around 2:45. The lady very rudely told us che,k in was not until 3. We had to go and wait at a restaurant. When we came back there was another girl (she was actually the only savable thing of the whole experience) she was really nice, but when she tried to check me in rooms were not ready. Me and 3 other guests had to wait half an hour for it. The other guys, asked her in a horruble tone if I was walk in, which the girl said no since I had a reservation ALMOST A MONTH IN ADVANCE!! Then this other lady comes and starts telling us she can get us on her side. To which i say we are waiting for rooms. She talks to us in a condescending voice to which I FINALLY snapped and told her everything I just wrote. She put her hand in front of my face and it took everything in me not to be rude. They finally gave me the key 35 MINUTES LATER!!!! and they had the audacity to be rude when they didn't even have the rooms ready. Not to mention, the carpet was filthy and there was no wifi.

E-Z 8 Motel is located in the industrial area of downtown Phoenix, so some people might not like the area too much. For me personally, I enjoyed staying there. I spent 4 nights in a one-bedroom apartment at the motel. I was out early most of every day at science conference at the convention center (about 30 minutes walk up the road), and only came back after dark. It was relatively quiet at the Motel. I sent an email just before arriving and received a quick reply from Lisa. If I was ever in the area again I would consider staying here again.

The Good - Rock bottom cost, first result if you sort by price. - Centrally located, right next to the freeway. - Front desk staff was courteous and professional, check-in and check-out was quick and easy, staff responded to all of my concerns. The Bad - It's a motel in a sleazy area, so don't be surprised when your neighbors are the predictable clientelle of junkies, bums, and prostitutes. They have active security patrol at night and I didn't encounter any issues, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anxious about my rental car being broken into. The Ugly - Room was mostly clean, but the carpet was old with a few stains and the curtain was missing a ring or two. Verdict It's a good stay for the price if you prefer to travel on the cheap and you don't mind somewhat spartan conditions.

I did like the convenience of the restaurant and the food was good, not great, but good. There are homeless people ALL over this property. People smoking weed everywhere too. The rooms (floors and furniture...) were EXTREMELY DIRTY, and a very bad smell. The TV was maybe a 12" and you had to hit the buttons 10 times before it would respond, and there were maybe 8 channels with nothing to watch, and No Channel Guide. And it was IMMEDIATELY under the take-off and landing flight pattern of the airport. I choose it because I was only there for 3 days and it was cheap, it did fit that bill.

The staff were behind cleaning the rooms and we had to wait an hour for the room, but the staff were very apologetic, nice and friendly. It was in a bad neighborhood and we couldn't even get a pizza delivered to the room because of this, but the restaurant attached served a great breakfast, but is only open from 6 am to 2 pm.

Quiet trip in between permanent address.. Prices are youth yo beat and the took had the best pillows I've over had in my life..The staff cannot take tap-to-pay.. Have the physical card or cash ready. There is an ATM on site McDonald's close by as well as the 7-Eleven being built next door to it. Smoke shop it's open 24 hours less than a half mile away and there's also a dispensary lesson quarter mile away. Dream is neat and it was a great fight stay and really she's on the premises.

Absolutely appalling- 2hours from arrival to getting into room as lock on room door would not work - having to join the end of the line each time I returned to reception with the lobby closed & trying to communicate thru a window with aircraft over head from PHX- then came a shift change- lights out/window closed - despite queuing customers attempting to check in- yes window closed in their face- also got a message from hotel in advance saying nice cafe/lounge next door- et no- it was apparently demolished some time back Subsequent reservation for two nights this week cancelled - don’t see any problem ref your ‘rules’ unless off course truth is nit permitted

I had the absolute worst experience at this hotel. The amenities and lack of accommodations truly ruined my experience. The staff was rude and spoke down to us. The lady at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful, very rude tone and yelling at us. The room phones did not work and when we tried to receive any assistance we were turn away. They refused to serve us any food for breakfast or provide any other meals for purchase. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel ever. I hope the owner or proper authorities reevaluate the practices of this institution and get their act together.

Very run down motel. Falling apart. Torn up rugs in the outside hallways. Room stunk of smoke. Lots of Homeless in the area. The bed was clean and the old worn down bathroom was clean enough to get by. Old dingy tiles. The T.V. worked and the pool looked clean. If you are with a family avoid this as even the area is bad. If your alone and dont mind the smoke smell for a short stay and its very cheap then it works. No room microwave or fridge. I tried it because it was only about $32. per night for two nights.
