Welcome was great. Permit parking arranged - guest house funded. Kevin allocated a double room in nearby annex, with bathroom across the corridor. All spotless. Room equipped for self catering - microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery with tea/coffee and kettle. Really quiet too. Would happily stay again.

A late decision to book a room in a city centre b&b. Kevin met me at the door and showed me to a cosy bedroom, plenty of tea, coffee and fridge for milk even a microwave. Breakfast was substanial and set me up for the day.

Kevin was the perfect host very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was amazing for 5 pounds - public car park opposite secure and convenient - the bathroom was basic but acceptable for my needs - the room was well furnished had a fridge and microwave and perfectly clean - overall a very good value property I would stay again 👍

The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long. She is really professional, polite and welcoming. Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays. No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard. Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced. Didn’t try the breakfast but smelt good. Will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Good value no-frills accommodation in the Annexe house a few doors down. Be aware however that although hotels.com states free parking, they only had a limited number of permits, and as I was staying 2 nights, I had to move my car into a public car parking in the daytime - not expensive but still a bit of a pain.

Stayed in the basic single room with shared bathroom option which was a short walk from the main B&B. Pleasant staff when checking in/out, and although a bit outdated, a really reasonable no frills option. Room had a fridge and microwave with plate/dish and cutlery. Was also worried the bed would be uncomfortable but was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend as a place to stay if not expecting anything fancy

Property was 5 mins walk from town centre and the river very convenient that there was a fridge,a microwave and a fan in the room.

As I arrived I was disappointed to find no parking, even though the as displays free parking, i had to park in a public car park across the road, the cost was only £4.50 though for 24 hours. I was pleased with the cleanliness and modernness of my room, which had been upgraded from single shared bathroom to double en-suité. The room had a fridge, microwave kettle and plates, bowels and cups. I found the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was mediocre at best, I probably wouldn’t eat there again.

Host was amazing and very friendly! Amazing large breakfast with everything to fill you up. Same with amenities in the room. Surrounding area seemed a bit dodge but that's not the hotels fault.

My stay at Rose Marie Guest House in Peterborough, England, was good. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, I think his name was Kevin, who made sure I felt right at home. The guest house is conveniently located, offering easy access to the city's attractions and public transportation. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including the complimentary toiletries fridge/microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Peterborough, that wants to be in the city but have some money left for the attractions.

The room smelt dank, even though I kept the window open. I considered leaving and finding another location

1 word stay away do not book in I paid £165 I felt cheated very upset and shocked dirty toilet, dirty sheets my sister even found spot of blood on the white sheet! Bed terrible uncomfortable very old should not be used at all this was guest house from hell TRUST me am talking from experience do not book in .

When I spoke to her later in the morning she offered no excuse - the owner was very disappointed when I told him of the problem on Monday morning and apologised. There was no room service (tidying etc.) during my three night stay.

Staff was very friendly, the room fully equipped, very clean and tidy.

Dismal, Dingy, Run Down, Unclean, Noisy even for budget accommodation Budget accommodation does not mean that you be treated to what I experienced at the Rose Marie Guest House which was disgusting and unwarranted. I did not stay in the main guest house but in what the proprietor called the annex which turned out to be a run down and repellent unclean terraced house along the street from the main business and not as described on the internet booking site. The bed was so uncomfortable this also made sleep impossible and as for a radiator being right at the head of the bed this also made sleep difficult. The mattress was extremely old and stained, with many springs digging into my back. The only good part of the stay was the efficient Wi-Fi yet the television worked when it felt like it and the room did have a microwave and refrigerator however both were unclean. There was no place to sit other than on the bed despite there being room for a chair. There was nowhere to hang clothes so you had no choice but to put your clothes on the dirty floor. The very compact shared bathroom was repellent and absolutely disgusting, this was an unclean, run-down, unmaintained space that any right-minded proprietor would be ashamed to provide for the use of its guests. This has to be one of the most dismal, dingy, and run-down budget guest houses that I have ever stayed in and the proprietors should be ashamed of the accommodation they are providing even though it is low-cost budget

Baaic price for a basic room

Great location for city centre with short walk through lovely park, had great nights sleep regarding the very hot evening weather. Shower good & hot with a lovely cooked breakfast in morning always complimentary in my eyes. I would stay again, some furnishings a little tired.

Booked for somewhere to stay overnight close to the station. Nothing fancy, but felt welcome comfortable and safe as a solo female traveller. Didnt have breakfast but is smelled amazing.

Lovely little gem of a B&B, moments away from the Cathedral. Great breakfast as well.

Bearing in mind the very low cost, I think a good value and was clean. Was only l there one night while in town, but will go back. Nothing local, but short walk to city centre pubs and restaurants. Friendly Irish host and fantastic full English/Irish.
