This guest house is spotlessly clean, the double room with private bathroom was lovely and bright, and looks freshly decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the views over the bay is fab. The bathroom & shower are immaculate, with a very handy light in the mirror which means you don’t need to put the bathroom light on late at night. The guest kitchen is spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast is well worth the money. However, the 4 hangers on a frame are not enough to hang up even 2 days worth of clothes. There is no toilet roll holder in the bathroom and nowhere to hang even the hand towel. I would advise not to book a sea view room if you need to sleep on a dry Saturday night as the rooms are directly over Markie Dans, a very popular pub with additional seating outside, though I must say the atmosphere in the pub is fantastic with great live music. All in all a great wee place.

It is a hostel not a bed and breakfast . Great location but poor facilities unless you don’t want drinks in your room and like to make your own breakfast. They want you to wash up as well

It’s not a B&b in the true sense . It is a hostal . Self service breakfast taking food from containers and fridges . No tea or coffee. In room .thin walls so unable to sleep because of other guests talking . Good location . Pay for parking 9 am to 6 pm 7 days a week . Few staff. No lift . Stairs . Left after one awful night . Unable to complain. Yuk
