Unfortunately, I found the hotel to offer questionable value for money. At over €200 per night, I expected a much higher standard and better attention to detail. The hotel feels dated in places, particularly the very old lift, and there were several issues in the room, including a broken bathroom bin, an awkward toilet paper dispenser, and an old, noisy door with visible signs of damp. The mattress transmitted even the slightest movement, which made for a disturbed night's sleep. The hotel is located on a busy road, and traffic noise was noticeable throughout the stay. For the price point, I was also surprised that the room did not include a safe or a minibar/fridge. Breakfast was good, but the selection for vegetarians was quite limited. The biggest disappointment, however, was that I had arranged decorations at the breakfast table to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. This had been promised in advance but unfortunately did not materialise, which was particularly disappointing given the occasion. Overall, the hotel's location was excellent, but the overall experience did not justify the price charged.

I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. The location is right in the action for the town, and it's across the street from the lake so I had a really nice view from the room. The restaurant is very good, opting to eat there twice for dinner. The breakfast which was included in the room was very good too. The front desk team spoke perfect English which I appreciated and their directions and suggestions were very much appreciated.

Difficult to get to train station from property. A long walk with luggage and no help from the hotel. Taxi was unavailable as we were leaving at 7 am. Lots of noisy traffic.
