The hotel was clean and the hosts were very accommodating and kind. The only issue was the parking when lots of guests were there as you have to block eachother in, but that was sorted with an 8am car shuffle. We had a lovely stay.

Séjour très agréable avec une chambre avec vue sur la baie. Hôtes très accueillants et pdj complet. On peut garer la voiture juste devant. Seule la terrasse mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. Le resto "Bistro" sur la plage est très bien avec des spécialités de la mer et pas chères. Des ballades sur le sentier des douaniers sont possibles depuis le logement.

Really we enjoyed our stay here! The guest house is in a calm and beautiful location—perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. The host were very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend.

Alicia and Clive were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was superb and nice options offered for Evening Meal. Courtesy tray in room was also very comprehensively stocked with different teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Bedroom and Bathroom impeccably clean and ventilation superb. Bed very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Alicia and Clive were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was superb and nice options offered for Evening Meal. Courtesy tray in room was also very comprehensively stocked with different teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Bedroom and Bathroom impeccably clean and ventilation superb. Bed very comfortable. I stayed 2 nights in a single room, it’s a simple and unpretentious B&B. The welcome was warm and friendly but not intrusive, I really felt valued as a guest. The room was large enough, simply furnished and with everything I’d expect. The room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a highlight, in the bay window room all cooked to order and of excellent quality. A really nice place to stay. Recommended.

A wondeful stay- I cannot fault it. I didn't want to leave and would definitely stay again! The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, it really is a home from home. They prepared a fantastic evening meal and breakfast was delicious also. Cant reccommend the place enough.

This was the perfect place to stay after a long day of walking. Very comfy room with everything I needed, and the breakfast was lovely. They were so welcoming and lovely people and Porthallow is beautiful too!

Made to feel welcome on arrival. 9.5 Full English made to order. Enjoyable non intrusive conversation during breakfast with Clive the chef/owner. Would not hesitate to recommend or book again.

wow we turned up late to but having kept the owners updated and had a really hard days cycling they still cooked us a really lovely meal in the evening, really freindly and helpful owners

Alicia and Clive were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was superb and nice options offered for Evening Meal. Courtesy tray in room was also very comprehensively stocked with different teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Bedroom and Bathroom impeccably clean and ventilation superb. Bed very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place to stay if walking the coast path we stayed at guest house for a weekend away , porhallow is a perfect place to explore around the Lizard peninsula . We visited many places . The guest house is also on perfect place for the beach as not far to walk , beach though not sandy ,very pebble. Also very close to the 5 pilchards pub which serve good food and beer the staff in the pub are so helpful aswell. The view from are bedroom was amazing right across the beach and over the sea to St Mawes

We had a nice two days stay at this place. The couple who runs the guest house was lovely and very cheerful. We were served with an excellent breakfast both days. Our room also had a nice patio to have some tea looking at the mountains. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cornwall. The place is a bit further from the city through country roads, but it was well worth the price.

If you want a quiet stay with an old fashioned pub down the road and lovely friendly people then this is the place for you . Breakfast was top notch .
