Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Sauberes Zimmer mit bequemen Bett. Konnte dort kein muffigen Geruch festsstellen so wie andere in den Bewertungen meinten. Mega große gut ausgestatte Küche. Cafe und Tee zur freien Verfügung. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden gewesen, besonders bei dem guten Preis.

A nice no-thrill hostel where the staff are super friendly and helpful. In NZ west coast, hostels are for travellers of all ages. So if you are concerned (like I did) about staying with a bunch of college, worry not. The shared bathroom is not that much a hassle. It's like staying at a friend's or relative's place. There is a sink inside each room. The walk from the train station is 10 min. Do bring your own soap, shampoo, and conditioner. For what they lack in toiletry, they make it up with a gigantic kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils...you ever need for a trip.

Les dates de notre séjour ne correspondent pas. Nous y étions du 18 au 20 février puis du 22 au 23 février 2026.Et la photo ci dessus ne correspond pas à la chambre que nous avons eue. Nous avons bcp apprécié Daniel, le gérant de cet hôtel très ancien (un peu vétuste)qui est serviable, à l'écoute et extrêmement gentil. Sinon, l'endroit s'apparente plus à une auberge de jeunesse où on partage douches et WC.Notre chambre "familiale"comportait 2 lits dont un à étage et rien d'autre.C'est la seule qui restait. Il ne faisait pas très chaud dans les douches mais bon...l'eau était bien chaude. On a pu profiter de la cuisine et de la salle à manger communes bien équipées.

A great stay at a location that is easily walkable around the downtown area, although the hostel itself is a bit outside of the downtown area and is a bit of an industrial area. Really not a problem... just for knowledge. Everything was there that a hostel should offer and easily accessible. Perfect for my stay in Greymouth as I was passing through and just needed a shower and a bed.

Very nice staff, always eager to help. The rooms were freshly painted and clutter free with a sink in each room. There is no closet nor shelving for storing the luggage or hang clothing for longer stays however they might have larger room with storage capacity for extended stays. The laundry facility is superb. The kitchen is large and clean. Highly recommended as it is the only affordable place in Greymouth and it is my j better than other hostels or even hotels in the southern part.

Quiet part of Greymouth but not far from places to eat and shop. Hostel is dated but OK. The space heater is on top of the bed headboard and switches off after certain time. Our time there, Greymouth was cold and wet so quite inconvenient to wake up to turn it on again. Yes, they did give us extra blankets.

This is a great place to stay close to everything. The rooms are so clean and the the bed was comfy. The common areas are a bonus and kept so clean . The host is just amazing knows the area so well and can tell you all about different places you can go and visit. Thanks for a great stay . Would highly recommend to others.
