!!Coral Sands 1 Bedroom Stunner!!

The inside had been remodeled but there were issues with the broken shower head, all towel bars broken off in bathroom, hole in living room wall, broken blinds in kitchen. Outside was very eat up furniture and dirty cushions, above ground pool . Not what we expected

Management communication was good. Pictures on website do not reflect the actual room. My room didn’t have smoke alarms, the refrigerator was broke and it didn’t have a hair dryer. Management did bring me a new small refrigerator, installed a smoke alarm and supplied a hair dryer. The room ai rented was supposed to have a queen bed and a queen futon, it did not. Management brought me an air mattress. The washer and dryer were broke. Pool was nice. The gas grill was a charcoal grill and was awful. The oven in my room was from the 1950. I wouldn’t use it, it appeared unsafe.

Ok it feels mean to even write a poor review because once I finally made contact with these folks they were really very nice and TRIED to at least seem like they were accommodating with check in check out times, but having no working lights for 5 days feels very partial refund like no lights for real? No one ever came to check on that like they said they would and when I asked for TP, towels and trash bags was given 2 towels for a 5 day stay with 2 people…at the beach, and given one roll of TP no trash bags. There’s also no hot tub on site for info of the ppl and I understand there was a lot of rain but there shouldn’t be a roach issue so bad that they need to spray every week because after finding two massive dead ones in my unit I was scared to leave my suitcase open how gross to be taking one of those suckers home. The tv was also completely blue and I didn’t even bother asking for anything else to be fixed after the initial 5-6 things were heard recognized and told they would be fixed and were never even looked at Hard for my soul to leave mixed or bad reviews because I feel like these people have a good heart but like that was not worth all of my Money.. half a grand? I’ve def spent less in motel 6’s in outskirts of Orlando in nicer conditions Not as advertised. Ugh I’m torn between warning those who come in the future to not put ur card down as they offer no refunds even if paying on site and trying to give these ppl the fighting chance to make the units nicer

The room needs a lot of fixing up. Seems more of a cash grab property that attracts unsuspected visitors through its un updated property photos. The grill did not look usable and the pool area didn’t look very welcoming. But for the price you get what you pay for. The property it’s on has potential. Would recommend asking companies to update there property photos periodically.

Clean quiet and convenient location. Not fancy but accommodating and comfortable. Pool is very nice and well maintained.

Good value for your buck. A/C in both front room and Bedroom worked. Linens clean and bed comfy. Pool was clean and refreshing. Convenient location. We did not expect high luxury for this booking and we got what we expected, a clean, cozy, decent place that could use a few improvements, which is honestly how my own home feels, it's safe to say it kind of felt kind of like home to me. Could improve the grill on the property, it was a propane grill that was completely rusted out, we just went to Family Dollar and bought a mini grill for $15. We left the remaining charcoals and fluid we bought behind for others to use. The stove top in unit was high heat or nothing. The electric stove fixtures were all wonky, so pans would slide off, and made for difficulty making a batch of rice. Since my husband loves to cook, we chose a place with a kitchenette, but he was a little disapointed in the stove top when he used it. (Good thing he knows how to really make lemonade, as the saying goes!) Lastly, the mini coffee pot was on strike, was a hit and miss to try to make coffee with. So, with that said, we liked the other neighborly occupants we met, and we would likely re-book again, and recommend The Coral Sands overall for the location especially and the affordability. The cleaning staff that we met, Frankie & Michelle Both so helpful and kind! The property manager Adam and his wife were also prompt and professional when I spoke to them on the phone upon check in. Key codes worked no prob

I love the front and back door of the 1st floor units and the cute sitting area out front. The pool was beautiful. We loved our stay. We'll be back next month!

The room was really cute, comfortable and clean!! But the pool area needed some attention!! There was trash and junk lying around everywhere like people were living there!! Nice hotel but skeptical clientel.

This property was not clean. The sheets were not clean- instead they were full of hair. The bathroom floor was not clean- it also had balls of hair in the corners. There was a back door with a questionable lock that made us feel unsafe. The furniture was broken. There were holes in the walls and the walls were visibly dirty. And they claim there’s a hot tub, but there isn’t. Do not fall for this scam of a place.

Great stay. Couple block walk to beach, restaurants, grocery. Safe. Awesome pool. Just great overall beach place

One Star because there's no option to go lower...check in was stressful. It took 4 days, multiple messages and 3 phone calls to get code and check in details. The property is not as pictured in photos. Pool was super small & deck had had a huge stain on it. To say the room was in disrepair would be generous. Living room furniture was worn out with ill fitting cordoroy slipcover on one love seat and a throw blanket attached by velcro on the other. Walls has rotting wood trim. Stove burners had rust. Fridge was new, though. Bathroom tiles had been painted over, but paint was peeling. Bathroom faucet wobbled and was tricky to use. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere. We stayed one of the two nights we reserved, got up before 5 a.m. and left. Noisy, sketchy, and thd smell of marijuana drifted through the doors. Run. Do not book even for a quick trip. Unbearable.

Next to beach other than that roaches in all rooms. Walls were in disrepair stucco unpainted on holes in walls. Air mattress was a joke very uncomfortable to sleep on like camping. Don't stay here unless u like bugs..

There was no bedroom door, just some sad accordion paneling that looked like it was as over being there as we were. The weed smell completely permeated the rooms, even the blanket. The sad red pleather couch that looks like it has been in some rather unsavory films was not comfortable. The bed? A mattress on a frame. My back is going to hurt for weeks. The microwave said do not microwave. The fridge had no light. The TV did not work AT ALL. I messaged the propery manager but the only time he replied was to say when checkout was. We arrived on 4th of July and there just wasnt going to be a feasible way to get another room. Not to mention a deep dive on the property says you will NEVER see a refund. The locals would laugh when they heard where we were staying. The area was definitely sketchy at night. The floors will cut up your feet, so definitely wear shoes. The only two good things the place had going for it was the AC put out harder than some of the unsavories in the neighborhood, and the porch lizards were cute. I would rather stay in a tent with the iguanas on Riviera Beach than go back, much less ever recommend it to anyone.

Upon arrival my sister and I noted that the entire property was in urgent need of maintenance. We never received check-in instructions and called the number listed in the Expedia booking. The owner gave us access to our unit but as we opened the door, an overwhelming weed stench was pervasive throughout the apartment. So much so that we felt nauseous and developed headaches. The bedroom door showed signs of forced entry - cracked right down the middle and couldn't latch nor lock. There were several other safety concerns as well such as exposed electrical wiring, not to even mention the cleanliness issues. We told the owner we could not stay in this place with 4 kids. He agreed to give us a refund. I told him I'd confirm via text to have it in writing, and he agreed via text as well, telling me he'd process the refund. We scrambled to find alternative accommodations at a motel. Several days later and with no sign of this refund, I called Expedia to follow up. They informed me that the owner refused to refund me because I was outside my cancellation window. It took many texts, calls to Expedia and had already started escalating it to my creditcard and travel insurance, before Expedia was able to convince this character to make good on his promise.

The location of this property is nice but it was not as advertised in the posting on Expedia. Room was not cleanest and many things were not in good condition upon arrival.

I don't like giving a bad review because I know how much it affects businesses, but in this case, I can't give a good review. The experience at the property I was staying at wasn't good at all. First, the house didn't smell good, either in the bathrooms or the bedrooms. The ceiling in one of the bathrooms was damp, and the sink in the half-bathroom was loose, which can be dangerous for families, especially with small children or older adults. Furthermore, the noise from the house above was unbearable. People running around recklessly in the apartment above, banging on the floor until the wee hours of the morning, and from early in the morning onward, all day long. Add to all this, the owners are very informal, to say the least. We accidentally paid a double cleaning fee and overpaid 100.00. We realized it immediately and contacted the property manager, who agreed to refund the money. They told us they had returned the money to our account, but they never returned the money and kept money that wasn't theirs. They aren't serious people, so they don't deserve a good review. I don't recommend this property to anyone. I wouldn't want anyone to have a bad stay, much less feel scammed.

The kitchen oven top does not work. There were four skillets no pans. Everytime food started cooking, the burner would cool off. Just trying to fry an egg was frustrating. Towel had holes in it- 3. Furniture caused you to sink - couch, dining room chair. Dining table leg coming off, glass coffee table glass was rocky and dangerous. Shower tile slick. Property needs upgrades- painting on railings. Pool was clean, room clean. Beds were horrible with foam pad on top. Love boutique motels but would not recommend this to anyone. Check in at 4 had to call no information on check in till I called and received at 4:41 pm. Location was good.

The reservation was for 4 adults. I knew it was a one bedroom apartment but expected sleeping accomodations for 4 adults. What we were given is one bed and a small red "futon" in the living room. The futon was more of bench. It was too small for 1 adult to sleep on let alone 2. I am 5'7" and with my head on a pillow at one end my ankles and feet hung off the end of the futon. And there was no room for a 2nd person on it. We were eventually provided with a single air mattress for the 4th person. But this was a horrible sleeping situation. In addition - the kitchen is poorly stocked. There are only 2 pots and they are badly scratched and rusty tephlon (gross). And only 2 plates so you need to buy paper plates if you plan on eating in the room. The stove only worked if you jiggled the burner tops to make sure the connection hadn't come loose. Whenever you stir the food the burner gets loose and stops working so you need to push it back in using the potholder to reconnect it. There is not enough seating in the living room - 3 people on the bench and chair and the 4th on the floor. This should be for 2 people only unless it's small children. Overall, I can see that the owner is trying to make a modest income property but there needs to be more attention to functionality and honesty in representing what the true capacity is / should be. Unless you are traveling with just 2 people and plan to eat out you are better off finding somewhere else to stay.

Hours before check in I was texted saying there was an issue with my reservations the unit that I booked had an AC problem and they would putting me in another place. While I booked a two queen bed I was given a one bed and blow up mattress for 4 adults. So two of our party found other accommodations. I was told this place was an upgrade. While it was closer to the beach it was clearly not comparable.

we stayed there for 3 full days without no tv service the manager sent a few people out to tryu to get the service going but it did'nt work. we were dissapointed.

Was not able to stay there. Apt flooded before we arrived. Sent us to another that was already occupied. Asked for refund and sure hope we get it! Talked to the property that morning then got the run around when we arrived. Took several phone calls

The checkin was very stressful as no one is on property and I was unable to get the way to checkin - hotel.com didn’t explicitly state there was a $100 additional fee and how to get the room code. The room was very nice once we were able to get in

We paid for a room, got a confirmation and then got a phone call that the room wAs really not available and that we would be refunded. To date no refund has been received.

The management was great for communication and had everything we needed. The place was a little out dated and it was not sound proof at all. The pool was nice and great walking distance to restaurants and the beach. I would stay again!!

Do NOT recommend. There were bugs crawling on the wall! Overall property quality and location was very disappointing considering the excessive cost. It was cheaper to stay at the Singer Hyatt right on the beach. Check in process was ridiculous. Had to pay the final $100 via electronic cash app BEFORE getting codes to access property. We were in travel status and didn’t know if we were actually going to have a place to stay. We did not stay overnight due to the bugs. Owner did not apologize or seem to care.

Solid place to stay. Not a lot of luxury but great location

I loved that it was a 5 min walk from rivera beach,There are restaurants around the area and a few convenience stores as well. The only thing I did not like was that it was weird to check in as there is no office and you have to call the number on the sign (Which isn’t noticeable at 1st&the sign is worn & faded) other than that it was ok.

It was awsome 😍, nice swimming pool close to the beach and shopping stores and restaurants nice and cozy...

Even though the room i stayed in did not have a pot for the coffee maker, or a pan to use to cook in oven. They did provide other dishes that came in handy. They are in wakking distance to some good restaurant/bars. To drive to destinations that we wanted to see or things to do was not far from location. It was quiet and relaxing. Will stay again in the future.

Loved my stay at Coral Sands! The beach is 5 minute walk away and you have 4 different restaurants to choose from within a 5 minute walk. I loved the room too it was good for me and my boyfriend we just needed a small affordable space for our vacation. Definitely will be coming back! The pool was great too
