Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Moorings was the perfect spot for my daughter and me to relax and catch up. We enjoyed pickleball and kayaking in the canals. We loved the location as it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops or it was a straight shot to go off island which we did a few times. And of course, THE BEACH!! The beach is beyond perfect... we walked and talked and hunted for shells. The kitchen in the condo was well stocked and we made a few really tasty meals. We could even spot manatees in the canal from our lanai.

The condo is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. You overlook the docks, but the beach is a few minute walk across the street. The property is coming back from the hurricanes and while it might not be as lush as it once was, it’s still beautiful. Ongoing construction continues but it didn’t interfere with our stay in the least. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The location is about a mile away from restaurants and shops but was very walkable for us even after dark. We did a guided kayak tour through Adventure Tours and Rentals on Captiva and highly recommend that! There were several dolphins swimming near us and we even saw a sea turtle. Can’t say enough positive things about Sanibel Moorings! Our 4 night stay definitely wasn’t long enough. Hope to go back and enjoy this gem of a resort again.

Ants were a pesky problem...but we bought some bug spray to alleviate the problem. Carpet in unit was in bad shape and needed to be replaced.

Reviewer Comments: IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE STAFF AT THE MORNINGS HAS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE THE RESORT AS BEAUTIFUL AND AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE.WE ABSONLUTELY LOVE THIS CONDO AND HOPE TO RETURN SOON.THE BEACH AND THE OCEAN WERE MAGNIFICENT.
