This was a wonderful place to stay one block over from street car line. Street car will take you all the way to Canal and Bourbon. Free parking was excellent in a safe neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious and was served in the main room of the historic mansion. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Creole Gardens is a charming and magical place! We loved the location and the wonderful hospitality. Even in the dead of summer, the window unit a/c kept our room nice and cool. I will choose Creole Gardens any time I return to New Orleans. Also, they are pet friendly! We will definitely return with our furbaby. Thank you Keith and staff for a wonderful visit!

Wonderful property with a fun, artistic feel to it. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Nice pastel color theme throughout the property. The outdoor courtyard was very relaxing and added to the overall charm. Parking lot for guests was a nice feature. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and coffee were a very nice way to start the day. Lighting on the property was perfect and made for a welcoming place where you can enjoy a night in New Orleans.

The hotel has historic charm and is an interesting arrangement of various themed rooms. The location has easy access to a trolley and a tour bus. The staff was very friendly with tips for activities and local travel options. They also offered some tasty pastries for breakfast. However, there were flaws during our 4 night stay. Our bed mattress (foam?) was very lumpy. Their ice machine was very small and inadequate for the guests. There were no options for drinks or snack purchases on site. The guest bathroom soap dispenser wasn't refilled during our stay. And, the hot breakfast meal was an order of eggs. Sometimes including sausage links and maybe grits. Sadly, this will have us looking elsewhere for future visits.

We loved Creole Gardens! We usually stay at St. Christopher's, but they changed their free parking to paid, so I looked around and found this property. I am so glad that I did. We loved the history of the property and found it absolutely beautiful. They have free parking that is lit and covered by cameras. We were a block away from the streetcar and we felt perfectly safe walking around the area to visit the different restaurants and bars. In the morning, the ladies made us hot, YUMMY breakfast. Every employee that we had contact with was friendly and helpful and I feel like we made them our new friends. Also, this is a pet friendly establishment! The pet fee is only $15/day and free for service animals. I can't recommend this place enough. We found our new home in New Orleans!

Fun property with a bunch of hospitable staff. This is a comfortable bed and breakfast in the heart of the garden district of NOLA. There’s plenty of places to sit and relax in the courtyard but also there was live music at the bar in the evening that I stayed. Would definitely stay again.

Quaint, eclectic, funky...beautiful, CLEAN. The staff was AMAZING. 1/2 block to Charles Street Streetcar stop and restaurants. Parking lot was 2 houses away. Breakfast was FABULOUS both the hot and cold. The location was perfect and as senior citizens we felt perfectly safe walking home from the streetcar stop at 11:00PM. The inside courtyard is the perfect place for meeting other guests or just relaxing. It truly has a "family" feel and it is family owned and operated. WE WILL BE COMING BACK....

Price/quality for this cute place is what’s expected for a guesthouse. It has a nice historical vibe which we liked. Good parking and breakfast included the stay. The room is a bit dated but it had clean bed/pillows and towels. Bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. I do recommend this place if you like the quaint historic and quiet area.

Creole Gardens was a perfect place to stay. My husband and I were traveling from TX back to FL and decided to spend a day in New Orleans. I found this great spot away from the busy streets of main NoLa and it was amazing!! We arrived several hours before check in, but given so much help using the street cars and places to see!!! The staff is so helpful, friendly and so much fun to just talk to. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful again with great staff that kept is laughing. We will be visiting again and highly recommended. *For some reason app will not let me add photos. The building is older but beautiful! Fits perfectly with New Orleans!

Beautiful historic home, beautiful room and beautiful people running it. We booked the very top attic room and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Cozy and cute little courtyard and breakfast they provided the next morning was like eating at home with family. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

I didn’t realize it was a Bed & Breakfast when i reserved the room, but it was a pleasant surprise. The free parking, free breakfast, and cuteness of the building sold me. We stayed in one of the Bordello rooms, which my husband got a kick out of. The room was clean and comfortable, and the double-headed shower was AMAZING. The buildings are old, and there were a couple soft spots in our bedroom floor, but overall it was an excellent property.

I chose this place because it seemed a bit less touristy, as I wanted to get a broad sense of New Orleans that extends beyond Bourbon Street. Plus, I wanted to be away from the craziness of the French Quarter, while still being able to easily get there when I want to. It really is the perfect location: quiet, but within walking distance to the French Quarter, Garden District, CBD, and the street car is a couple minutes away if you aren’t much of a walker. WW2 Museum was also about 10 mins away on foot. Creole Gardens was exactly what I hoped it would be. From the moment I checked in, Andie (spelling?) was so friendly and knowledgeable. We must’ve talked for nearly 30 minutes about New Orleans history, things to do, and our personal backgrounds. That night, I a different employee named Annie spun some classic tunes vinyl for the guests. I could tell that she truly loved the music - knew every word to every song, and it made the experience memorable and authentic. Throughout my stay, I also spoke with Annie often and learned that she was a cook and has been a local for a very long time. She and Keith, another employee (also great) also offered to cook me eggs and sausage each morning. The room itself was great - had a real historic New Orleans vibe. Definitely felt more “lived in” than a fancy modern hotel, but it had character. The only negatives I have are the bed was a bit firm for me (others may love that) and the towel rack kept breaking. I will definitely come back!

Overall fine. The stairs are a bit steep for this 64 year old, but good to find out I can still navigate them. The TV was ROKU only. There was a cable box but no cable connecting it to the TV. The drain stop in the tub was broken, so you could not take a bath only a shower. The curtains over the window let in the lights in the courtyard, so if you need darkness to sleep you are out of luck. Breakfast was fine and included eggs, sausage, grits, assortments of breads, and yogurt, although my sausage was cold one morning. All in all no real complaints, although perhaps a bit pricey for what you got. Nice people running it who were pleasant and helpful.

Let's be clear, this is essentially a bed and breakfast. The location is fantastic, easily accessible to the street car that is minutes from the French quarter. Free parking and breakfast are plus. Very quaint place, though it's old looking and the rooms are quite bare bones with old ac that was crazy loud all night. That said, great price in a great spot, definitely safe, though not sure I would stay again given that I felt a bit uneasy given it's not a proper hotel. It did the job for my two night stay and so can't ding it too much because it advertises itself what it is. Hotel staff were nice and they are very attentive at breakfast. Property was great but I was placed in a smaller room the first night and neither Travelocity or the property would compensate me for that night. Didn’t feel good to be treated like that. Wish something could be done.

The super friendly staff made our stay wonderful! Breakfast is included and cooked to order. The property is right next to a trolley stop so we had convenient access to wherever we wanted to go in the city. The room was clean with comfy beds. The only negative about our stay was the lack of a mini fridge in our room. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was excellent! Kristin was very friendly and helpful, even had our room ready before check in time (we had let them know we would arrive around noon). Complimentary breakfast was extremely convenient and satisfying to set us up for exploring the Quarter. All of the recommendations given for cafes and restaurants in the area were great. If you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable, authentic experience for a weekend in NOLA, this place cannot be beat. St. Charles streetcar runs just a block away; gives you access to French Quarter and all the other streetcars that run through Downtown, French Market, etc. Expect Inn/B&B accommodations and a very welcoming, friendly environment.

If you are NOT a fan of excellent customer service, this place is not for you! Our hosts were very welcoming and personable. They took the time to meet each guest and share experiences. The continental breakfast was more than your average breakfast. It was like having breakfast with family. There were many restaurants in walking distance, as well as the street car, jut a few blocks away. We are planning to return every year just to go visit our “friends”.

I LOVE this hotel, and I LOVE the staff!! This was my first time staying at the Creole Gardens, but it will definitely not be my last! Queen Annie, Andye and Keith will take very good care of you. Their heart and soul goes into everything they do. My room was spotless, bed extremely comfortable, and with the courtyard, artwork, music and atmosphere, it truly was my home away from home. My stay was just as much a part of my experience in town, as was the food and music. I cannot wait to return!!

Would stay here again, loved the easy access to St Charles streetcar and generally walkable area. Many excellent restaurants close by and a nice park a block away. Located in a quieter neighborhood with plenty of amenities/food nearby - walk around the corner and hop right on the streetcar. The courtyard is peaceful and serene! We watched a beautiful sunset from the balcony suite. Comfy and spacious room. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

This was a wonderful place to stay one block over from street car line. Street car will take you all the way to Canal and Bourbon. Free parking was excellent in a safe neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious and was served in the main room of the historic mansion. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The staff at the Creole Gardens Inn were so polite and helpful. The location is perfect and you can quickly be in the French Quarter or Uptown in just a few minutes. It has close access to the St. Charles Street Car. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed sitting in the courtyard.

I chose this place because it seemed a bit less touristy, as I wanted to get a broad sense of New Orleans that extends beyond Bourbon Street. Plus, I wanted to be away from the craziness of the French Quarter, while still being able to easily get there when I want to. It really is the perfect location: quiet, but within walking distance to the French Quarter, Garden District, CBD, and the street car is a couple minutes away if you aren’t much of a walker. WW2 Museum was also about 10 mins away on foot. Creole Gardens was exactly what I hoped it would be. From the moment I checked in, Andie (spelling?) was so friendly and knowledgeable. We must’ve talked for nearly 30 minutes about New Orleans history, things to do, and our personal backgrounds. That night, I a different employee named Annie spun some classic tunes vinyl for the guests. I could tell that she truly loved the music - knew every word to every song, and it made the experience memorable and authentic. Throughout my stay, I also spoke with Annie often and learned that she was a cook and has been a local for a very long time. She and Keith, another employee (also great) also offered to cook me eggs and sausage each morning. The room itself was great - had a real historic New Orleans vibe. Definitely felt more “lived in” than a fancy modern hotel, but it had character. The only negatives I have are the bed was a bit firm for me (others may love that) and the towel rack kept breaking. I will definitely come back!

We had fun at this place. Walkable location for WWII Museum and the excellent Ogden Museum. The Garden district is gorgeous but you have to walk "uptown" several blocks or ride the fantastic streetcar to get into the better areas. The area around the B and B is transitional. Free parking was a huge plus (not available in the French Quarter). Check out the "Margaret " statue near the B and B. I Hope the owners continue to invest in the place and bring it up to its potential.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was located a 3 minute walk from the bus or street car and with multiple dining options around just a few minute walk away and only a 25 minute walk from bourbon street and other areas of the French quarter. this was my 2nd stay by Creole Garden. Keith and the two Ladies from the Rezeption and Ani from Breakfast are very kindly and helpful. My englisch is not good, but we could talk. I could without Problems extension my staying! The Streetcar Station is in the near, ca. 3min. to walk. My next time in New Orleans, i would like staying here again

Overall fine. The stairs are a bit steep for this 64 year old, but good to find out I can still navigate them. The TV was ROKU only. There was a cable box but no cable connecting it to the TV. The drain stop in the tub was broken, so you could not take a bath only a shower. The curtains over the window let in the lights in the courtyard, so if you need darkness to sleep you are out of luck. Breakfast was fine and included eggs, sausage, grits, assortments of breads, and yogurt, although my sausage was cold one morning. All in all no real complaints, although perhaps a bit pricey for what you got. Nice people running it who were pleasant and helpful.

This was the best place to stay for Mardi Gras. The place itself is so lovely with the multi colored courtyard and funky, imaginative rooms. It got us in the spirit!! And some big parades were 2 blocks away!! Getting in and out of the city was super easy, and we were given very detailed instructions that made it even smoother of a process to get in. Also the parking lot was a huge relief. Oh, and breakfast was included with the best king cake I ever had. 20000/10!!

Quaint, eclectic, funky...beautiful, CLEAN. The staff was AMAZING. 1/2 block to Charles Street Streetcar stop and restaurants. Parking lot was 2 houses away. Breakfast was FABULOUS both the hot and cold. The location was perfect and as senior citizens we felt perfectly safe walking home from the streetcar stop at 11:00PM. The inside courtyard is the perfect place for meeting other guests or just relaxing. It truly has a "family" feel and it is family owned and operated. WE WILL BE COMING BACK....

I loved this place! My husband was skeptical. It is an old building (house). There isn't an elevator. We were on the second floor. I wanted to stay in a place that I would feel like I was in New Orleans and immersed in its culture. This fit the bill to a T. No, it did not have all the latest amenities - mini-fridge, microwave, pool - but it did have a garden area, fresh cooked breakfast, and a distinct New Orlean's vibe. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We walked the area and felt safe. There are several restaurants nearby. We rode the streetcar (just a couple of blocks away) to the Bourbon St. area. It also has free parking - I guess that is a rarity in New Orleans. So that was a great perk to have. My husband ended up loving the place, too. And he enjoys telling people we stayed in a brothel while we were in New Orleans. When/if we make it back, we will definitely look into staying there again!

Quarto limpo e confortável, equipe muito simpática, bem localizado oferece fácil acesso ao bonde que leva para o centro. Café da manhã simples, mas suficiente. Bairro tranquilo com boas opções de restaurantes. Chuveiro não estva muito bom.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, it was exactly what we expected. Beautifully clean Bed and Bathroom…. The Courtyard was amazing, with access to the breakfast room where there was plenty of variety for hot and cold breakfast with 24 hour access to Coffee and Water. Staff were a pleasure and Free Parking a bonus. We would recommend Creole Gardens as a fantastically placed accommodation for visiting New Orleans.
