Clean room that is right on the water. Old motel that has been renovated. It was prefect for our young kids to explore the beach one day and the Redwoods the next. The only bummer was no microwave in the room. They had two available near the office though. The highway is loud, but we were able to sleep through it. We slept with the slider open, because there is no AC or fans in the room.

Lovely motel right on the water. Walk right out of your room to the beach. Chairs are available on the deck to watch the water. I loved listening to the surf at night.

We had a porch out our back slider with chairs to sit and enjoy the views. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and you could walk down to it easily. The room was not as pleasant an experience. Room smelled clean, sheets did not look clean, luckily we had our own. Shower looked clean but would back up by the time you were done washing your hair. Took showers like we were in a camper. All that being said, I would go back again- the location was amazing.

Check in was very easy. Parking was super easy right outside of the room. Not every room looks like the pictures - many do not have a direct ocean view, but it is easy to walk around the property and see from the back. It is very easy to hear people in the neighboring room and outside, so if you need absolute quiet to sleep, I would recommend bringing earplugs.

The staff were amazing…helpful and accommodating esp Sandra who took care of an issue. The hotel is dated, but clean. It was nice to have a break room area next to the front desk that housed coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, an ice machine and a microwave since there was not one in the room. A small fridge was delivered to our room when we left which will add a bit of convenience.

Location was perfect. This place is under remodel. The room we had was not anything like the picture from the app. There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. They left 2 keurig pods for us to walk to the office and get coffee. There was also a microwave by office to use. The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet.

My dog and I enjoyed a peaceful evening sitting on the deck and watching the waves at sunset. The room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The bathroom sink wasn’t draining quickly and one of the lights in the room didn’t work, but the overall experience was great for the price.

Great little motel right on the beach. Pretty standard motel room no frills, I would have liked a microwave and a mini fridge, but the beach front location is awesome. Rooms could use an update. Carpet is very old and some stains. But otherwise it was very clean, staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

You don't stay here for a luxury hotel, you stay here for the incredible location to the beach! Lay in bed and watch the waves crash, or walk 50' to the beach! The beds are old and springy, it's very outdated but it's clean. The office staff is very nice.

location on the beach was perfect! but accomodation itself was in poor condition and in significant need of updating. I'd only stay again if i was briefly passing through and didn't need to spend any time in the room.

The location is indeed amazing! We arrived at 3pm and was able to enjoy the low tide of the gorgeous beach. Room is decent size, beds are comfortable, the bathroom and shower room is quite outdated , really needs upgrade . The site manager Shelly is a super friendly and warm person. Would recommend to ppl who want to enjoy the outdoor experience and have moderate expectations of the stay.

I showed up after they closed, super later and couldn’t find my room but somebody was still able to answer my text and help me. Very kind & helpful staff. Beautiful room & view. Can’t wait to come back!

Okay-ish room, gorgeous location. Property was listed as self check in, but it is not, which caused a lot of stress for me as I was traveling from quite far and the office closes (potential to not be able to check in). However, the front office worker did stay a few min after her shift to let me check in, which I really appreciated.

Great views, home-y vibes, and great hospitality! Loved the staff at the front desk. Gave great advice for the hikes and things to do in the area. Room was clean and touched up every two days. GREAT stay for the price. It fit all our needs to stay and see the redwoods

This place still needs a lot of work to be competitive with budget hotels, but you can't beat the ocean view and easy access to the beach. I wish the new owners good luck. They have a diamond in the rough on their hands.

Clean room that is right on the water. Old motel that has been renovated. It was prefect for our young kids to explore the beach one day and the Redwoods the next. The only bummer was no microwave in the room. They had two available near the office though. The highway is loud, but we were able to sleep through it. We slept with the slider open, because there is no AC or fans in the room.

Great little motel right on the beach. Pretty standard motel room no frills, I would have liked a microwave and a mini fridge, but the beach front location is awesome. Rooms could use an update. Carpet is very old and some stains. But otherwise it was very clean, staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

The staff were amazing…helpful and accommodating esp Sandra who took care of an issue. The hotel is dated, but clean. It was nice to have a break room area next to the front desk that housed coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, an ice machine and a microwave since there was not one in the room. A small fridge was delivered to our room when we left which will add a bit of convenience.

Location and views were amazing! Appreciated the water, coffee and cocoa. Overall fairly clean but very dated furnishings and carpet was stained

The front desk staff were the best. They were so friendly and helpful. The drinks and snacks were a special treat. And the view…what can I say…EXCEPTIONAL!!

Location was perfect. This place is under remodel. The room we had was not anything like the picture from the app. There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. They left 2 keurig pods for us to walk to the office and get coffee. There was also a microwave by office to use. The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet.

We had a nice stay at Crescent Beach motel - we had free coffee, tea, drinks and snacks during our stay which was great! The bathrooms need some updating, as well as better pillows (personal preference really). Other than that it was a lovely cute stay! Be prepared for the noise - can definitely hear the highway, anyone walking outside of your room, and thin walls (earplugs were provided btw can find them in the nightstands)

This hotel is not a 10/10 as I saw previously reviewed. Beware, there are really very few amenities: no pool, no exercise room, no breakfast ,other than a packet of instant oatmeal and hot water. There is a beach. Room was very small, uncomfortable. And outdated. They use boxes of damp rid in the rooms and air was stale. Not sure what type of HVAC system they had it was very old. Walked into room there was an open can of soda on table and light bulb burnt out over bathroom sink. There were no stoppers in either sink or bathtub drains. The price was way out of line and I couldn’t cancel 2nd night because I booked on Hotel.com. Not sure I would do that again either. Stayed in 6 hotels this week and this place was the most expensive the worst value and just a plain dingy disappointment. Stay away !

Beautiful motel on the beach! Room was spotless and decorated in beach motifs. Absolutely loved our one night stay here. Got to see a beautiful sunset from our patio. Highly recommend this place!

We LOVED our stay here! The location is perfect! It’s just outside the hustle bustle of town, the beach is literally right outside the door, and it’s right at the redwoods too! Staff was friendly and the complimentary amenities like snacks, drinks, and the coffee room were such a nice touch! We would definitely stay here again!
