Staybridge Suites Charlotte Arpt Area - Tyvola by IHG

The hotel is generally clean. However, there are people who clearly come there for entertainment. Whether it’s to utilize the indoor pool or it’s to have maybe a gathering at the hotel. When we stayed a large group was there and they had a bunch of wine and beer bottles that they left out in the lobby area. Then there was loud music coming from a couple of different rooms with clearly a lot of people in the room. However, surprisingly, they could not really be heard too much from our room next-door only from the hallway. It is also pet friendly so we had a room that had clear urine stains.

I LOVE this property! It has everything an in-room kitchen, an indoor pool, and the kindest staff. It smells so fresh and looks beautiful throughout. Hands down my go-to place every time I’m in Charlotte, NC!

Pésima experiencia. No respetaron nuestra reserva. Reservamos y pagamos una suite de dos dormitorios para seis personas. Al llegar al hotel nos informaron que nuestra habitación ya no estaba disponible porque estaban completamente llenos (“sold out”). Lo más preocupante fue que nos dijeron que no era responsabilidad del hotel porque la reserva había sido realizada a través de Hotels.com, por lo que, según ellos, no podían hacer nada. La única opción que nos ofrecieron fue una habitación con dos camas, de menor categoría, menor valor y con capacidad insuficiente para las seis personas de nuestra reserva. Pretendían que aceptáramos una habitación completamente diferente a la que habíamos contratado y pagado. Al solicitar que el hotel cancelara la reserva, ya que no íbamos a aceptar una habitación distinta, se negaron a hacerlo, a pesar de que la tarifa era no reembolsable y el incumplimiento era del hotel, no nuestro. Incluso insistieron en que firmáramos el check-in para aceptar esa habitación, lo cual rechazamos. Finalmente tuvimos que irnos del hotel y buscar alojamiento en otro lugar, ocasionándonos una gran pérdida de tiempo, estrés y un gasto adicional. Lo peor de toda la experiencia fue la actitud de los recepcionistas: fueron groseros, poco amables y no mostraron el más mínimo interés en solucionar un problema que había sido generado por el propio hotel. No recomendaría este hotel. Una reserva confirmada debería garantizar la habitación que el huésped contrató.
