Breakers Montauk Review My stay at The Breakers was absolutely disgusting. There were ants everywhere, and the rooms were so poorly insulated that you could hear everything going on around you. There were no towels in the room, no one available to provide guidance or assistance, and the overall level of service was unacceptable. Even more concerning, the property was not dog-friendly and was not accommodating to my service dogs in any meaningful way. The grounds were also filthy, with feces throughout the property. For what you pay to stay in Montauk, this was completely unacceptable. Between the cleanliness issues, lack of basic amenities, noise, poor service, and condition of the grounds, I would not recommend The Breakers and would not stay. No TVs

Had a great stay and the price was amazing. Heated Pool and yard games made the evenings fun. It’s so close to the beach as well. Fell asleep in the beach chairs that each unit was given. Hearing the waves was nice. Studio is snug but it was just me and my wife.

It was a cute room, but it didn’t have a TV or a microwave. The sofa,/hide bed was worn out and not comfortable to sit.

Parking is sketchy. If your room isn’t by the maintained parking lot, you have to park off the street in front of the cabins. It had rained before we got there and the parking was in the MUD. Nobody was considerate about parking their vehicles.. some were 5’ or more between the vehicles, so we ended up having to park quite a distance away from our cabin. We had taken food for breakfast and left it on the kitchen counter. When we woke up the next morning the food was covered in ants. The property is very clean and cabins are nice, except for these issues.

This was our 5th Summer staying at the Breakers. It's a very simple place but you can't beat the location which is directly across from the beach and walking distance to town. Very clean, great pool (lots of kids), decent bed, efficiency kitchen. Only downside is the walls are paper thin so you can literally hear your neighbors whispering but the positives outweigh this negative so we will see you again next year!
