We had rented for our weeks vacation. Th Ere was no closet to hang our clothes. Just a few hooks on the wall. They eventually found us a coat rack. We were paying $700 per night and were not happy about the lack of a closet. The pool was not clean. Things were floating around. Several days I had to call to get towels in the pool area. They were supposed to have a cafe open for breakfast and lunch on Memorial Day. On Fourth of July it still was not open. Very disappointing.

Checked after 7pm due to flight . No one on site, no information on room, one hanger in closet , heater went into eco mode so room was cold till friend in business fix it, had no TV as advertised and restaurant was closed during our stay.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage, Stadt ist fußläufig in ca. 15 Min zu erreichen. Unser Bungalow war sehr klein, aber gut ausgestattet - lediglich eine Couch und ein TV haben gefehlt. Absoluter Minuspunkt war das geschlossene Restaurant/Bar! Wir hatten uns das Breakers gerade deshalb ausgesucht und dass es nicht geöffnet war war absolut enttäuschend!

It’s clean. There’s no TV in the room, and no blackout blinds, who ever prefer it. When it’s dark outside, there’s no outdoor lighting to find the way to your room, had to use my phones flashlight. Had to check-in electronically, looks like there’s no one at the check-in office.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. Grounds were kept very well. Great proximity to the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

I gave service three stars only because there is no actual service. Check in is remote and there no day to day to day room cleaning. That is not a complaint, just a fact. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Pool is heated to about 80 degrees. EXCELLENT

Our unit was horrible. It smelled like mold & mildew, the walls are so thin, we could hear our neighbors talking, the window screens (the ones that had screens) were torn & flapping in the wind. Bees were coming in. One of the bath towels had big blood stains on it. There was no step to get onto the deck. No TV…. & the sign says ‘TV’. Unacceptable!!! We bagged our 2nd night & just left!!! Don’t waste your money on this place!!!

We arrived early and were greeted by friendly staff. They were able to get us into our lodging early and even upgraded us to a cottage. The location was beautiful, clean, inviting and had everything you would want while on your vacation. The listing of the site is exactly what you received when you arrived. No surprises and no disappointments. We loved our stay at The Breakers in Montauk and can't wait to go back again. Hotel.com gave us exactly what we wanted and exactly what we paid for. Thank you!!

A very lovely place with great charm! My only note is that the walls are quite thin — if you’re an early sleeper like me, you might hear neighbors chatting at night. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

Overall, it was a cute little motel. However they were doing maintenance until 1 am last night and it was right next to my unit. It was off season so I didn’t expect much, but that was completely unacceptable. Prepare for thin floors/walls. And bring layers, it’s a cold room situation.

I would give this Motel a 7 out of 10. I would agree with all the previous reviews in that the motel needs to be updated and the exterior needs to be freshened up. We loved the spaciousness of our two-bedroom apartment. The room was great. The beds were very comfortable. I think it is overpriced. The staff was super nice!

There was no one there to meet me, I was unable to check in and there were no instructions to help me check in. I had to leave, it was dark and the emergency telephone number just rung out. No one was there to help me!

I booked 3 units in January. The bathroom lights and outlets in unit 15 did not work twice on Friday night, and the bathroom lights in unit 2 did not work on Friday. Maintenance came Friday night to unit 2, around 9:15, and tried to fix, but couldn’t. Maintenance came to unit 15 once and fixed the lights, then they went out again. Maintenance came on Saturday morning and fixed things. I felt for the amount of money spent on these units, these were issues that should not have been had.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage, Stadt ist fußläufig in ca. 15 Min zu erreichen. Unser Bungalow war sehr klein, aber gut ausgestattet - lediglich eine Couch und ein TV haben gefehlt. Absoluter Minuspunkt war das geschlossene Restaurant/Bar! Wir hatten uns das Breakers gerade deshalb ausgesucht und dass es nicht geöffnet war war absolut enttäuschend!

We had rented for our weeks vacation. Th Ere was no closet to hang our clothes. Just a few hooks on the wall. They eventually found us a coat rack. We were paying $700 per night and were not happy about the lack of a closet. The pool was not clean. Things were floating around. Several days I had to call to get towels in the pool area. They were supposed to have a cafe open for breakfast and lunch on Memorial Day. On Fourth of July it still was not open. Very disappointing.

Checked after 7pm due to flight . No one on site, no information on room, one hanger in closet , heater went into eco mode so room was cold till friend in business fix it, had no TV as advertised and restaurant was closed during our stay.

This was our 5th Summer staying at the Breakers. It's a very simple place but you can't beat the location which is directly across from the beach and walking distance to town. Very clean, great pool (lots of kids), decent bed, efficiency kitchen. Only downside is the walls are paper thin so you can literally hear your neighbors whispering but the positives outweigh this negative so we will see you again next year!

Place was very clean and in a great location. Not far at all to walk to restaurants, bars and beach. The beach is directly across the street. Very nice property and the restaurant on the grounds of breakers is very good.

For he price, cant be beat! Across the street from the beach and a short walk to downtown Montauk. Has a small well kept pool on site where food and drink can be served to you from the crispy taco restaurant on site. Rooms are spacious, suite style . Kitchen/living room separate from the bedroom. Little deck out front that overlooks the parking lot. Pedal bikes and beach chairs provided free of charge! Coffe spot alo located on site. Enjoyed our stay!
