Radisson RED London Greenwich The O2

Room was clean staff was friendly. Carpet thought out the building needs a deep clean. Not all the outlets in the room working refrigerator were unplugged. Parking spot is very limited. 15-20 minutes walk to public transportation

It took two attempts to have the sink unblocked as it would not drain properly. The room was not cleaned one day. There was food waste and rubbish in the corridors outside rooms uncollected from early evening when I arrived until I left the following morning. The car parking is extortionate at £22 per night. The exterior parking area is in bad condition with the block paving requiring complete repair. The wheelie bin area next to the hotel has overflowing bins and waste oil containers stacked everywhere. Rats are visibly seen running around this area. Would be very reluctant to stay here again.

Stayed here for an event at the O2. Only a 15m walk from there so really handy. Parking is £22 for overnight in one of ~15 spaces. This feels really expensive but considering O2 official parking is ~£30 then I guess this is the reason. Initial check-in was not the smoothest though no major issues. Seemed to be some confusion over which rooms were ready. Considering check-in available from 3, we arrived at 4 and the corridors to the room were still filled with cleaning stuff, only 1 cleaner though. Room 110 directly above reception was clean and largely functional-could not get the aircon to work- temp showed but couldn't see any way to turn on. I did not raise this with the front desk as it was late though, ended up just opening a window. Nice shower, very good pressure. Only comment on this was that the knob to direct water from either the handheld or rain head was incorrect. Usual hotel-style TV and plenty of charging points both 3pin and USB by the bedside. Breakfast was a buffet affair - tasty but as with a lot of places that serve breakfast this way, you need a bit of luck to get all fresh items for a cooked breakfast! Only had scrambled eggs ready, fried or poached eggs were provided on request. By the time a fried egg was provided there were no sausages left! Didn't bother me too much as I wasn't too hungry and made do with just bacon and beans plus there were pastries and other things to eat also. Seemed a little understaffed but staff were pleasant and helpful.

Road parking an absolute bonus. 14 min easy walk to O2. Reception was painful, but got there in the end. Nice decor throughout that suited my taste. Few improvements needed & a bit of maintenance but it did the job.

Service was fine, but I had very little interaction with staff. The room itself was ok, with just a few signs of tired decor. The staircase was very shabby and the automatic lighting was inadequate, I found myself in total darkness on landings until it kicked in.

Stayed 25th January 2025. I booked two rooms, both had a broken window and in one, the air conditioning didn't work. The bar closed at 10:45 which was very surprising. The area is horrible and whilst they advertise a 15 minute walk to the O2 venue from the hotel, we felt it far safer to get a taxi. In the morning, whilst waiting for a taxi before departing, I noticed staff were using a supermarket shopping trolly (still with the coin slot chain release mechanism intact) to carry bottles and other bar consumables in order to restock the bar - that pretty much summed up the quality of the place.

Hotel was lovely and clean but when we were given our key card and tried to enter our allocated room we found that someone was already staying in it!! This had happened to a few people whilst we were there. There was alot of staff members passing the buck as to whos fault it was and who could sort the issue for us. The tv in our room also didnt work and we were told we needed to connect to our own internet, when we questioned this with another member of staff they said that wasnt the case and someone would come and look at it. Once in the room and unplugging and plugging all the wires back in they said they needed to pop downstairs. We then received a phone call to let us know the maintenance man had gone home and they could sort it in the morning. This was of no use to us as we were only there for the night. We had a drink in the bar before we went out for the evening and were told they dont serve cocktails at that time and the cocktails on draft weren't working. We ordered a simple vodka and mixer and the barman had no idea what we wanted. Such a shame as the hotel is lovely and quirky but the lack of organisation and knowledge really let it down

Above the bed on the ceiling was a massive water stain and the ceiling was cracked. In addition the tables in the restaurant were stained and had not been cleaned despite it being very quiet.

Easy to find, easy walking distance to Excel. Decent food, reasonable selection at the bar, friendly, helpful staff.

Parking option is terrible and they also charge for it. Food delivery service is nonexistent.

Comfortable beds, very clean, great vibe and artwork

This hotel does not appear to be very clean. When arriving into our room, the bedding was quite obviously stained, there was plates and cutlery stacked up on a window in the corridor and rubbish overflowing from bin bags in the stairwell. Although the issue with the bedding was resolved, it is disappointing to experience such uncleanliness at a Radisson branded hotel. The staff appeared bored and like they wished they were somewhere else. The breakfast was OK. The location was good in proximity to the o2 but I would not be booking this hotel in the future and will not be recommending after our experience of uncleanliness.

To start off our room wasn’t what we reserved ! We booked 2 singles and had to settle for a room with a double room. Not ideal but we just had to run with it. The early check in fee was wavered.We went on up to the room which seemed nice at first glance but after a closer look there were faeces stains in the bed and hair. The Bathroom had stains in the toile and just wasn’t up to standards.

Awful. Would not return or recommend. Unfriendly, slow check in. Got to room and the door was open, strong sewage smell coming from bathroom and into whole room, window lock broken, terrible thin pillows and no spares, no duvet cover on duvet, just a top sheet, tv remote didn’t work, toothpaste all over the tap and used glass still sat next to basin. No manager available in the evening to complain to and no apology at all when we checked out the next morning. Just said she’d ‘let the manager know’

Disappointed. Lights not working. Smelled of drains in shower roo.. hand prints over furniture. Poor cleaning.

Dirty rooms! Very old and not maintained at all!

Location was good but sadly the hotel was hugely disappointing. Sound proofing was poor, with a large gap under the room door, and the windows and curtains were filthy.

The staff were helpful, and restaurant, lobby and bar were all lovely.... however the room was outdated, and mouldy smell was very strong.... Mould spores clearly visible on extractor fan (above toilet), hung toilet and shelfing coming off from the wall, toilet flush falling off the wall, black mould in shower along the bottom (just above tray area)... the room itself was nice - the windows couldn't close properly, but that was not an issue, as had to sleep with window open because mould smell was strong - Would have complained but I was unwell and husband pointed out we were just staying overnight and leaving in the morning.

The room we booked for 2 nights was on the third floor and our view was restricted by empty warehouses. Upon entry the room was neat and tidy. The TV did not workand there was no aircon working. The bathroom was ok but had limited areas to put toiletries etc. The body wash bottle was empty in both the shower and above sink. There was a rapid charging pad on oneside of the bed but it was not working. The fridge had the earth pin on the plug was missing so fridge could not be plugged in. We asked for tv to be looked at and it was sorted straight away. On the 2nd day the toilet was leaking and again it was looked at during the day(we went out) but just a towel undeneath was their solution. During the night we had to open a window due to it being too hot but road noise was a big consequence. Breakfast was good lots to choose from cold meats, cerals, pastries etc and buffet hot food- only boiled and scrambled egg choices. Salt was missing so had to raid other tables. Bar and restaurant food and drink good prices. The stairwell and corridor areas were very dusty and the carpet on the ground floor was filthy. To be honest cheaper chain hotels have been much better than this one.

This hotel was close proximity to the O2 arena (about 20 mins walk) It was good for an overnight stay. The room was fine but could have done with a light in the centre of the room. Other lights did not make the room bright enough. Breakfast options were good - catered for vegetarians.

Terrible night sleep. The hotel is next to a busy main road but doesn’t have sound proof windows! We also had a whining noise in the cupboard next to our room which was going the whole time. I was offered a reduced rate upgrade in the week before our stay, I accepted it. Got to the hotel, no availability. Why offer it if you can’t fulfil it? Overall a pretty dreadful stay.

Restaurant opening times were not as web advertised. The opening window had an air gap as it wouldn't close properly, so let a cold draft blow into the room

Hotel itself was lovely, staff was very polite and helpful, breakfast was amazing, nice touch to ve able to but drinks snd snacks, rooms was lovely clean, air con a god send, showers was lively, i had a room on first floor and traffic noice was awful, double glazing was crap, like id left the window open vut it wasnt, my daughter in similar location room but on 5th floor and it was so quiet, i would certainly stay again but would go for higher floors.

The hotel itself is very unique and looks really cool, bed was comfortable, but we could hear the lift from our room all the time. Breakfast was really nice and enjoyable, food kept hot in le crueset style pots. Having to pay for bar drinks at reception can be quite annoying, especially when there is long queues. The location is fantastic for going to the 02. As much as there was little annoyances, we would come back again.

Great stay, staff were excellent

When I arrived they couldn’t find my booking. They then found it. I went to my room after having to push my way past a delivery trolley which had been left behind the door of the hallway. When I got to my room it had already been used. Drinks everywhere slippers on the floor. I went back down to reception they gave me another room. The staff let them self into my room at 12:30am whilst I was in bed. The following morning I got up for a shower to find all of the shampoo and soap had been removed from the room. I went down for breakfast and everything was burnt. The sausages were black. I picked up a pain au chocolate and it was rock hard where it had been over cooked. So I didn’t eat breakfast. I went to check out and guess what they couldn’t find me again. I said why did you come in my room last night and the member of staff said yes that was me. But know explanation. I travel a lot for work I stay away at least 2 nights a week and this is the worst experience in a hotel I have had in the last 10 years of travelling. It is a shame because this could be a nice hotel if it was run better.

A perfect one night stay for an event at the 02. Staff were efficient, professional and friendly. Air conditioning in the room was quiet and effective. Great nights sleep comfy beds and quiet room.

Staff were rude. No pleasantries at check in, not inviting at all. Beds hard and uncomfortable. Thin walls, was a party in a room next door and above at the same time till 3:45. How no staff heard I will never know. Would have complained at the time if I wasn’t really trying to sleep hoping it would stop. Overall, very disappointing. Would not stay again.

Excellent service and very kind and polite staff. Clean and efficient inside. The area outside the building is not great but not really relevant to my stay as I remained in the hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful from check in to check out. Especially the gentleman running the breakfast service singlehandedly. Will definitely come back.

Check in staff and Check out staff. We’re not friendly, very surprising as this is normally the first and last point of contact Room looked like the clean had been rushed, wipe marks could be seen on the floor and surfaces

Easy walk to the 02 with lighting along the paths and taking the footbridge over the main road which takes 20 minutes. Good Breakfast and a large room.

Hotel was in an ideal location for the O2 arena, rooms reasonable size, clean with tea and coffee. Good black out curtains for a better nights sleep. Breakfast a bit disappointing as there were no mushrooms or tomatoes available ( although the staff member kindly said she would bring more out in a few minutes but that was too late for me). Also toaster not working properly. Overall would recommend, a nice , calm hotel

Stayed at the hotel 20 min walk from o2, great easy location to get to

Nice enough. Quirky decor. Everything felt very ‘new’. Room was spotless. Only complaints were: - drinks were ridiculously expensive in the bar (£35 for a cheap bottle of Prosecco) - the hotel isn’t really in good walking distance of the O2, yet the description gives the impression it is. It’s stuck out on a main road that I wouldn’t have been comfortable to be walking along late at night. Had to call a taxi to take us to the O2 and back

The hotel was great and the staff super friendly and accommodated an early check-in. The room had everything needed for a one night stay - I was going to a club night nearby so needed somewhere to lay my head down afterwards. It's not the most beautiful part of town so not recommended for someone wanting to see the best of London or Greenwich but as a place to sleep whilst doing other things, it's great. And served my purpose perfectly.

Terrible parking, great location if visiting the 02. Lovely room and bathroom, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast disappointing for price, very basic, low quality ingredients, luke warm.

Great service from the start to finish. Lovely, contemporary hotel. Spacious room with unique styling. Good bathroom with nice big towels and nice toiletries. A hairdryer would have been handy though. Breakfast was nice and relaxed with food choice and quality food - very clean and fresh. Coffee machine not so good - would prefer this to be freshly made and served. A great stay in a convenient location.

The overall experience was good. Breakfast seemed a little chaotic. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but staff were not keeping up with setting up recently vacated tables quickly
