The William Warner cottage was lovely for two people. Clean, private parking nearby, fitted out for a week at the shore including a washer and dryer and a small kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. Check in was easy and the bagged breakfast was delicious. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants (The Rook, right across the street, is excellent for dinner!) and 2.5 blocks from the boardwalk. Despite being so close to the boardwalk, the neighborhood itself is quiet and we had a great night's sleep. Overall, highly recommended! We will be back.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. The property has off site parking but it fills up super fast. All street parking is metered. The first night we stayed there, we drove around for 30 minutes trying to find somewhere to park.

My husband & I stayed in the Walt Whitman room for 3 nights, we chose the Sea Gypsy because it was conveniently close to my sister's home so we could easily walk to her. The Sea Gypsy is also close to the beach & restaurants & everything is easy to get to. I appreciated the charm of the building & it was much better than the typical motels all around wildwood. I really appreciated the victorian style of the house & the Walt Whitman room was small but fine for just a couple or a single person, the outdoor deck attached was my favorite part, it was so nice to sit out there & enjoy! The bathroom was separate from the room but it wasn't a problem, it was a large bathroom & private so no issues. The staff was very friendly & accommodating if needed but we didn't need much, we also didn't take part in the breakfast so won't be able to review it. I very much enjoyed our stay here the only issue was the ceiling fan had thick dust on it which I noticed right before turning it on so we just simply gave it a wipe off with a towel & everything else was quite clean. Definitely a bit too pricey for my liking but everywhere in Wildwood is.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The environment is very pleasant and peaceful. Love the front porch. The homemade breakfast is so excellent. Only blocks from one of the best beaches that the wildwoods have to offer. We really had a nice time, as matter of fact we had such a nice time we booked for Labor Day. Thank you Sea Gypsy

Historic house, service was great. We walked to the brewery and there were other options. Close to the beach. It was a bit cool to take advantage of the outside patio, but was still nice. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again.

Kindest host ever, Davita walked us in our suite and made sure everything was to our standards and explained everything to us. Every nook and cranny was loaded with quaint character. Comfortable beds great hot tub in our room and no pet fee for our pug who was right at home. Would extent for the whole week. Dog beach is two blocks away too!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Ezra Pound room. Highly recommend for couples or those with a child, there is a trundle bed and a pocket door for privacy. A small stove and fridge are super practical, two separate small bathrooms (yes, two showers!) and great location just a short walk from Morey’s pier, pubs etc.

Absolutely loved our room. It was like a home away from home from a past life decorated with cool antiques. We even had a friendly cat come chill with us on our patio whenever we went outside. Very welcoming atmosphere but not overbearing at all. I love how all of the rooms are different too. We are planning another trip and staying in another room.

The Sea Gypsy is an absolute oasis from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk (and yet extremely close to it when that's what you want.) There are not enough stars to rate the charm of the place. We were in the DH Lawrence suite and it came with its own guard-cat, Romeo. ;-) The whole experience there was a vacation unto itself.

Found this place last minute for the 4th of July and it was perfect for what we needed! Close enough to the beach, but far enough from the board walk that it was quiet. The staff was really nice and helpful and the place was so cute! Had the bed and breakfast charm and the beds were actually very comfortable! We stayed in the Ezra Pound Suite.

A nice bed and breakfast they was close to the boardwalk and eateries. We were on the third floor with no elevator. I would recommend asking for a room closer to the floor level. Otherwise great friendly staff and lovely rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Ezra Pound room. Highly recommend for couples or those with a child, there is a trundle bed and a pocket door for privacy. A small stove and fridge are super practical, two separate small bathrooms (yes, two showers!) and great location just a short walk from Morey’s pier, pubs etc.

My sons and I were in Wildwood for a tournament and we decided to try The Sea Gypsy. We have now found out forever rental! From the amazing check-in to the easiest check-out, this was beyond amazing. The history alone of this location is breathtaking. The breakfast is to die for!!! Highly recommend!!!

I was in town for NJ Jeep invasion. Henry was very accommodating, with the size of my vehicle, diet restrictions and my early morning morning departure times to set up as a vendor. The main house is absolutely beautiful. The decor and architecture must be a source for Henry and his family. He is very proud of what they have built and you definitely can sense it. I would stay here again hands down. Thank you for a wonderful stay

My husband & I stayed in the Walt Whitman room for 3 nights, we chose the Sea Gypsy because it was conveniently close to my sister's home so we could easily walk to her. The Sea Gypsy is also close to the beach & restaurants & everything is easy to get to. I appreciated the charm of the building & it was much better than the typical motels all around wildwood. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The environment is very pleasant and peaceful. Love the front porch. The homemade breakfast is so excellent. Only blocks from one of the best beaches that the wildwoods have to offer. We really had a nice time, as matter of fact we had such a nice time we booked for Labor Day. Thank you Sea Gypsy

Henery was so warm and welcoming. The place is adorable and comfortable. Henery and his wife made breakfast that was so good. We were allowed to bring our dog and they were so good with her. I cannot say enough about this place. Also was close to the boardwalk. Would definitely stay there again.

The William Warner cottage was lovely for two people. Clean, private parking nearby, fitted out for a week at the shore including a washer and dryer and a small kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. Check in was easy and the bagged breakfast was delicious. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants (The Rook, right across the street, is excellent for dinner!) and 2.5 blocks from the boardwalk. Despite being so close to the boardwalk, the neighborhood itself is quiet and we had a great night's sleep. Overall, highly recommended! We will be back.

Historic house, service was great. We walked to the brewery and there were other options. Close to the beach. It was a bit cool to take advantage of the outside patio, but was still nice. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again.

The Sea Gypsy is the pearl of the Wildwood beach vacation experience! The whole family loved the cozy accommodations and comfortable atmosphere. Everything was great- enough space for a family of four, close enough to easily walk to the boardwalk or beach, surprisingly quiet for being so close to all the action and incredibly warm and inviting. The Sea Gypsy is located near many points of interest. It's a very quaint and charming place to stay. They were accommodating with one vegan breakfast out of the three of us. Highly recommend getting the breakfast, which they made in a "to go" fashion, so you can choose to eat in the dining room, on the porch, or at the beach. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Gypsy. The house is so quaint, cozy and historic (1905). Every room is so unique, quiet and well appointed. Todd and his wife Natillie were excellent hosts. They were so helpful and offered many amenities to enjoy our stay (fresh beach towels, bike, free parking and a delicious breakfast. My daughter and I enjoyed our hot, fresh and delicious breakfast (prepared by Todd) on the 2nd story veranda as a lovely sea breeze cooled us. It is close to the beach, boardwalk and many great family restaurants. We highly recommend staying at the Gypsy and will most definitely stay there, again.
