The hotel texted us the day we were arriving and told us they made arrangements for us to check into a different hotel. No explanation or apology. The other hotel was not on the beautiful island of Ortigia, but by the train station (not a great area). We were very disappointed. It was also hard to find a contact number for hotels.com to help with the situation. The hotel we sayed at was ok, but not quite the magical vacation we were expecting.
