Room was not bad but the experience was awful. They checked another guest into our room at 1 am, and while I was sleeping someone began entering the room. I had the security bar in place, or they would have gained entry. It was terrifying and I couldn’t sleep after. No elevator and had to carry items upstairs to second floor. Okay cleanliness and condition. Not the best place I have stayed. Not the worst.

The one positive thing was the property had the lot cleared of snow. Otherwise I would not stay here again. The property was dirty. My room specifically smelled of cigarettes. The hallway also smelled of cigarettes as well. As affordable as this is, it’s worth the extra $30 to drive down the highway to AmericInn

No elevator to 2nd floor.

Lights in bathroom didn’t work, tub didn’t drain, hallway smelled musty, sheets were thin, stains on the wall, sheets and towels weren’t changed. The staff were very friendly, however. Easy parking, good location to town, safe.

The shower curtain had hair on it and it was very brown on the bottom part of it/dirty. The carpet did not appear that it had been vacuumed and I did not want to step on it with my bare feet. I could visibly see hair on the carpet in some areas. There is no elevator so I had to carry both sets of my luggage up a flight of stairs to get to my room.

Overall unsatisfied. Old chair and nasty ashtray by side door. Toast was the only served for breakfast. Room not very clean, sheets had stains. Unsafe parking lot we were approached by a man that didn’t speak English and he wouldn’t leave us alone. Will not be staying again nor recommending to anyone.

The hotel is extremely old and in some disrepair. It had a weird smell in the room and didn’t seem entirely clean. There were stains on the sheets and in the shower, and the rugs are all very old and and have rips. The bedside light stopped working on the second night. There was no apple or cranberry juice in the juice maker and the vending machine for drinks did not take credit cards. This hotel also does not have an elevator, and the outside doors are not locked with key entry so security is not great. It was a fairly expensive stay for a hotel of this caliber. It looks to me like it needs an entire renovation.

For a 2 star hotel, it beat my expectations!! Staff is awesome, rooms are not that bad. A little old building and rooms not 5star level, but you get what you pay for . Would come here again. Easy parking as well.

Room was being cleaned when I arrived. Carpet still had crumbs on the floor, and a used washcloth was still hanging on the shower curtain rod. Room was not cleaned during my 4 night stay.

The carpets in the entire property hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The king sized bed had a king sized poop smear in the sheets as well as bits of food. It clearly hadn't been cleaned at all from the last tenants. Would definitely not recommend.

Towels wreaked of cigarettes, "smoke-free" room still smelled like cigarettes. Whole place smelled like cigarettes. Room wasn't cleaned between last guest and my stay. Dirty towels, trash in the cans, bed obviously slept in. Even a tip just sitting there. Never been so disgusted and disappointed anywhere

Last time staying here, we stayed 4 days and 3 nights and in all that time not one's did they offer us new towels or to clean the room. The breakfast was a joke nothing but mini muffins and bananas and yogurt. The room we got had holes from someone before us in the wall, like if they had a fight. Really not worth the stay.

Room was filthy. Hair in the shower and sink when we got there. Walls and floor are dirty. Door lock was broken, air conditioner button was ripped out.

We were there to visit family. The hole place smelled especially our room. Breakfast was barley considered breakfast. White or wheat bread for toast. banana, and some very small yogurts. The bathroom door didn't open all the way because the toilet was there. You could see the stains on the mattress pad through the sheets. Everything was very run down. We would not stay here again.

The sheets were dirty, the carpet was dirty, dog was barking down the hall. Did not feel safe.

Cleanliness was just ridiculous. Had trash needing to be taken out left it out in the hall at 11am. Trash was still in the hall the following morning at 8am. Bed covers were stained but cleaned the tubs needs renovation

Worst hotel sheets I’ve ever had - they were very pilled and rough, thankfully I don’t think dirty but still way too used or old which just feels yuck. The room was very run down. So hard to tell if dirty or just too old to look clean any more. They did clean my room after first night stay so I think I was pretty clean, but bath tub looked like some places well scrubbed and then line where you could see maybe not scrubbed enough. The room smelled strongly of cheap disinfectant cleaner. Cleaning staff was noisy in the halls with vacuums outside my room at 8am on Sunday am. To their credit staff very friendly. Breakfast was 4 pieces of white bread, 4 pieces of cheap wheat bread, 4 bananas, and 3 yogurts in a fridge, coffee, juice machine, and on day 2 some cellophane wrapped mini blueberry muffins. One side of toaster broken. Other slot burnt my toast no matter what setting it was on. I did manage to have peanut butter and banana toast for breakfast with some cold water which was fine. First night I checked in place smelled good like Indian food, but after that just strong smell of cleaner. Typically I don’t mind an economical 2 star hotel and can over look a lot of run down things as long as they are clean. But the rough old sheets were just the worst and I’d prefer not to stay here again if other options are available.

The room was big and clean. The beds are very comfortable . Bathroom was tiny to the point that the toilet did not allow the door to open completely. And the breakfast consist of juice, coffee, and bread that was hard to the touch.

I had stayed here a couple months ago, and it was ok, especially for the price. This visit, though, was a bit disappointing. The bathtub had not been cleaned after last guest (shampoo residue all around the rim). The bathroom door did not close. The sheets were pilly. The comforter had visible stains and appeared to have been ripped and hand-sewn back together. The front desk staff was walking around the lobby barefoot. The whole experience was a little gross. On the positive side, it was fairly quiet.

I stayed in their top of the line suite. It was large, well appointed, clean and the bed comfortable. The Jacuzzi bath was broken. I have stayed in this hotel several times and they are improving the cleanliness. Breakfast leaves a great deal to be desired. They put out some slices of Wonder bread with a toaster and a few packaged mini-muffins. It is a viable option for the budget-minded as it is much less expensive than the other hotels in town. I will come back when nothing else is available.

First room had a blown outlet that the AC unit flugged into. Changed rooms. This one had bad wiring and most outlets didnt work. The piece that goes into the drain of the bathroom sink was broken and set next to it. The smell of paint from work being done next door was overpowering. This rooms AC was plugged into the other side due to the outlets not working next to it. The shower head had a leak on the side that shot water out. Tv kept going out because of wiring issues.

The suite was oddly laid out. The living room section only had a couch and chair. No TV or coffee table. The bedroom section had the TV microwave and mini fridge. Odd set-up. I had planned to use the suit for Netflix and chill in the living area.

The rooms furniture was relatively new. The wall AC unit had no way to adjust temperature. Tub spout had a screw where the knob should be to turn on the shower head, it pulled right out of the spout. Hair dryer plug is broken and not safe for use. Continental breakfast was bread and a couple packaged mini muffins.

Clean and friendly, but the beds were like sleeping on a rock!

My husband, daughter and I stayed there because I got transferred for work and the lady that was there was very nice and helpful. The guys that came in after were not so helpful. Our blanket was ripped our hot water turned black and sand came out. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was very nice.

We had a double queen bed. The bed closest to the noisy air conditioner had a very large wet spot on the lower corner of the mattress. There never was anyone behind the counter. You always had to call for someone. Not impressed and would never choose this place again.

Clean room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice quiet hotel stay. Great value for price!

We had some initial issues with our original room, but the staff member was very kind and quickly reacted to our situation giving us an upgraded room for the same price. Given her kind and professional manner, I would not hesitate to stay here again. The property is very fairly priced.

Property in terrible condition! Sink, blinds and lamp shade were all broken! The room had a terrible smell and you had to search for property owners when you needed help. Maid service did not happen period. Would never stay here again!!!

The hotel clerk was very nice. Had to check in early and it was no problem.

We’ve stayed here a couple times while visiting the college. Our room has always been clean, staff friendly and bed comfortable. Wish there were more a couple more pillows on the bed, overall a nice budget friendly place to stay.

Overall a comfortable stay. No noise. Reasonably priced

Coratel is where I stay most often when I am in Northfield. While it isn’t “fancy”— it is always the most affordable option and it’s quiet and clean. If these things are what most matter to you- I’d encourage you to give it a try.

Such a great deal for the money. Clean, simple, and the bowling alley next door has a great bar and restaurant.

Not kept up very well inside. With that said, beds and pillows were very comfortable. Free breakfast was invisible by 9am. Only a couple pieces of bread and 2 mini muffins left. Staff, especially Amanda, did all they could to be of service. For a short stay, it’s located conveniently.

The free Breakfast was unavailable, no explanation or discount. Hallways and rooms smelled awful. There was no fan in the bathroom, just a whole in the ceiling.

Decent place with the exception that no breakfast, rooms looked clean until you look around the edges, blankets to thin, towels to rough.

The hotel is perfect for sleeping but the breakfast options were bad. No eggs, meats, no milk, no salt or pepper. Only toast and nothing for diabetics. We went across the street to Perkins

Used the bathroom for the first time only to realize that there was no toilet paper. Had to send a family member down to get some for the front office. There wasn't even a toilet paper holder. Sink was dirty. Only had one bath size towel. No wash cloths. Again have to send family down to get another towel. Breakfast advertised but consisted only of bread and bananas and one or two containers of yogurt.
