We loved staying at Te Mata Lodge. The location is fantastic, easy walk into the shops and cafes and really central for many attractions (wineries and other activities). The host looked after us so well and was friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nicely taken care of, all the items you might want were in the room with lots of space and the biggest, comfiest bed!! Quiet location, good parking, wifi, storage, etc. Really good value for money.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Every single thing is beautifully set up in the room. Facilities are fantastic even has an espresso machine and a coffee Plunger. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting the region.

As a coeliac sufferer it is difficult when in a different country to find safe dining options. The staff were extremely helpful with locating safe options for me. They also assisted when I thought I'd lost something & didn't complain when it was in my room the whole time! We will definitely be back, and I'm recommending this motel to everyone. this place has the highest standards and they maintain those standards daily.
