The Vale Golf & Country Club

War okay, aber nicht wie erwartet.

We booked a room in this hotel today to an event which was down the road. It was very convenient for that event. We were able to get a taxi to and from the event from the hotel when we bought our room with friends you’d also put there we booked a Lakeview room and three days before we were due to arrive we would advise that our room have been double booked and there wasn’t a room for us. They did put us in the Airbnb flat next door had issues entering that flat several times opening the door and coming out of the door one evening we went to reception and got a very let’s put it this way not a very nice guy on reception who was very helpful made out that we were stupid and we just couldn’t open the door the flat was amazing. It was massive had its own dining room room small so very warm with the heat wave. We also mentioned that the shower temperature dropped from hot to cold instantly in the flat when we reported this to reception again, we were basically told that it must be our operating issues. Not a sorry about that. We’re looking into it when we return from our event we couldn’t get into the flat again we there was nobody on reception we had to go to an event wedding that was in the area to try and find a manager to help us out again very attitude and rude there is an event that we go to every year so we would like to come back to here hopefully in one of the Lakeview rooms that we originally booked the ladies on reception that did contact Me did sort me out an alterna

Beautiful cabin with amazing views. The cabin was perfectly located and very clean with ample room. The golf and country club is stunning. Great for walks as over 300 acres of countryside and a range of flat, incline and woodland to browse. Staff were friendly and food lovely. The only recommendation I would give is that the cabins would benefit from dividers to add some privacy when sitting on the balcony. We did feel like we were a bit too ‘all together’ and found ourselves whispering all evening when enjoying the views as other stayers was super close (touching distance). Looking forward to visiting again

The room and the en-suite are both spacious. The bed mattress is firm and comfortable, though the sofa bed needs improvement. The mini coffee corner was a bonus . Most importantly, the lady at the reception was superb and very attentive. Thanks to her for the very clear check in instructions .

A great little spot for an overnight stopover! Clean modern room with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Key was in a lockbox outside so late arrival no problem, great value for money, can’t comment on food as we didn’t eat here. Only downside for us was the beds were too firm but that’s just personal preference.
