First time at a TOP 10 Holiday Park. I liked the facilities. We arrived for the Homegrown concert from Auckland that morning. Staff let us check in an hour early. They let us know what areas of the park we were able to hang around at while we were waiting. If we knew there was a bbq area would have stayed longer and had a bbq I would definitely stay there again. Its perfect for groups or large families.

Easy to get to. Everything we needed. The heating isn't very good and when you have it on its loud. I wonder if panel heaters would be a better option. Great to see the double glazing going in.

This park served a purpose for somewhere to sleep. It wasnt particularly clear where to park. Great if no one is in the cabins next to you. Walls are pretty thin. Think the games room could've been better utilized with free actvities for the kids to do. In saying all this it wasnt bad. I would come here again.

Convenience and quiet were tops. Our motel unit shower was a problem. Cold showers , trickle of water. Backing plate was totally useless. Kitchen tap needed attention. Couldn’t find manger . Office staff couldn’t manage ‘sorry about that’. Really poor response. We rarely complain but cold showers are different!

This Top 10 was amazing, only downfall was that Booking Agent didn't pass on requests for bed configuration in room. Outstanding shower and toilet blocks.

On the info it said "Park in front..." we had to park behind our rooms. It would have been easier if there was a second step leading into the room off the footpath. Good to have a games room, but not much variety of games. Our boys lost a coin in one (Table Ice Hockey) as it didn't work and couldn't find the table tennis balls. The beds were ok, but mattresses did not have much support, you could feel the base slats through the mattress. Also the mattresses were lower than the height of the bed base, making it difficult to get out of bed.
