Staff were friendly. The location was great, especially for the price. Location was literally right off the interstate and made getting to/from Kansas City and Lawrence easy. Room mostly clean, but smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking room. Also had debris/dirt on the floor. Amenities were overall good, but internet quality was not great--my phone and laptop regularly disconnected regardless of where in the room I was. Also very noisy through most hours of the night--people screaming or being loud outside/next door. I realize that's not the fault of the hotel, but definitely influenced my overall experience here. I would consider staying here again if I was by myself; however, this isn't a hotel I would recommend to others or would stay at if traveling with family.

This property remains one of the better 'value' spots in the Kansas City, KS area. Everything was in order. All amenities were fully operational...clean linens and room. Quiet throughout the night. Staff is always polite and helpful. Plus got a great deal on the room through HOTELS.COM. Good overall experience.
