The property is right next to the BART station and you can hear the trains running all night. Otherwise the room was fine and the staff is great. Only valet parking is available for $35 a night.

This is a beautiful, clean and very well maintained property. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The exercise room is top-notch and has excellent equipment. The room was clean, well stocked, spacious. The included breakfast was excellent—lots of great choices. The only drawback is that there is not much in terms of walkably-close places to eat. Otherwise, this is a terrific place to stay—BART station just across the street.

They get you on the parking! They have valet parking for $35/day! That’s very expensive! The other option is street parking and things aren’t really that safe in the Bay Area anymore so I felt that the hotel was taking undue advantage of the situation by charging its patrons. I had stuff in my car as I was moving in my kid to their college apartment so I had to relent to this atrocious charge to park my car in the hotel’s parking structure. Marriott does that in their other hotel in Walnut Creek, CA as well. Such a shame!

Really nice room with kitchenette. Pool was tiny and not great. Nice free breakfast. It would be nice if at check in they told you where pool was and all the details of the hotel, as there is nothing in room explaining anything about the spa, grounds, etc.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times, but I do not believe the shower was cleaned or the bathroom floor was cleaned on this visit. Too much hair. I wore my flip-flops in the shower and covered the floor in towels.

I chose this Residence Inn for my Stay-Cation so I could enjoy all the comforts of home, without the daily chores, in a quiet and restful environment, and that’s exactly what I got. I chose the Studio Suite with the Queen bed. Upon check-in my room was impeccably clean, well-stocked with paper goods, towels, bedding, and cookware, plus a full size refrigerator and freezer, as I enjoy making my meals from scratch. The valet staff was wonderful, quick, and accommodating with my vehicle, and all of my luggage both arriving and leaving, and the staff at the front desk were so kind; professional, personable, and friendly. This Inn is a winner in my book, I will definitely come back here for my annual “retreat” for myself, and I highly recommend it to everyone who embraces the qualities I described above.

The first room I got had an unclean toilet. It had a lot of hair. So I went down to the front desk and I showed him the pictures. He seemed like he didn’t believe what I was saying. He gave me another room. It looked a bit better but the windows were dirty, no hair in toilet or sink. Unfortunately, once I got into the shower, I saw hairs. It was too late in the evening, and I was exhausted. I tried to talk to the front desk the next morning but the attendant said that she can’t do anything about it. I think I was dismissed and not being taken seriously. I have the pictures. This is 2 star motel experience not a Marriott.

This is ideal for longer stays. However, we did notice several ants in the bathroom and a few other areas of the room. By the time we saw them, it was already late, so we didn’t get a chance to call the staff. As for breakfast, the selection was quite limited and could be improved to offer more variety and better quality.

Overall the hotel was ok. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. That was tough to endure for our 3 night stay. But we asked for extra pillows and it seem to help a little bit. The showerhead was a little abusive. Lol there was no option to change the setting. Other than the 2 complaints, hotel is in a great location & close to everything you need. The bart was about a 5 minute walk.

The walls are super thin apparently so we heard toilets flushing and what sounding like elephants in the room above us. We heard doors shutting also and were woken up around 615am but our upstairs neighbors talking and walking around their room.

The dogs on our floor barked throughout the night and because our room was located overlooking the outside seating area between the buildings, the people who stayed out there until 3am kept us awake with their talking and laughing loudly. It was very unfortunate.

Staff were delighful and friendly While the room was decorated nicely, i had a single window with a view of a concrete wall no more than 12 inches away. Very little natural light. It felt like a dungeon. If i was given a room with more windows and natural light i would have been happier I also didnt like the mandatory valet parking.

The property is really pretty, and the rooms extremely spacious. However the internet is terrible, trying to watch anything via their television is almost impossible with the constant buffering. The breakfast was great, but you HAVE to use the valet which is super annoying. Extremely walkable area though. Water pressure in the bathroom was extreme and the shower set up is terrible, water gets everywhere. But the cost, coupled with the walkability, large rooms and free breakfast was worth it

I had a reservation for this hotel. I was out of town for work, I get an email during my meeting and they said my reservation got cancelled for the night. Because they overbooked it. Then, I had to scramble during my meeting to try to find another hotel. I got this reservation with several weeks in advance. So very unprofessional. Not very happy. They didn’t even say sorry for the inconvenience and compensation for the trouble.

At 2:30 in the morning the couple in the room above us woke us yelling and screaming and throwing things against the wall. We called the night manager 4 times and each time he told us that he knocked on there door but no one answered. He said he also called them but they did not answer. This went on for 45 minutes. My husband and I had to get dressed and go up to the room and make sure no one had been hurt. They opened the door as soon as we knocked and they said the stop fighting and go to sleep. We went back to our room and they started up again. We called. The night manager and told him He Must do something! Finally, he called the police and within 15 minutes the police were there and handled the situation. What a nightmare. The next morning the couple vacated the property.

The staff and were excellent to work with and the hotel was in great condition. We had a question about an issue in our room but the staff immediately took care of it and we were very happy with the results. The area around the hotel was very nice too. I would stay there again anytime I’m in that area.

Staff was overall courteous. 3 stars because my room wasn’t ready when I checked in at 5:15pm and I had to wait in the lobby. The pull out couch was very dirty and the mattress cover was dirty and falling apart. The kitchen is lacking amenities to actually use the oven.

Staff was overall courteous. 3 stars because my room wasn’t ready when I checked in at 5:15pm and I had to wait in the lobby. The pull out couch was very dirty and the mattress cover was dirty and falling apart. The kitchen is lacking amenities to actually use the oven.

Hotel reception difficulties looking for our reservation but found found it in the end. Did not tell us what’s included in our booking and location of amenities. We have to wonder around find it ourselves. No friendly orientation of how to go around town since it’s our first time. He just give us the key card and off you go. Not so eager to make us welcome

The property is right next to the BART station and you can hear the trains running all night. Otherwise the room was fine and the staff is great. Only valet parking is available for $35 a night.

Room, pool and food were great. Only issue was that my husband bought a bottle of wine from the front desk, was told it was $17, we were billed $30. I mentioned to the front desk - they said “it’s $30”, no sorry or reimbursement. Very nice hotel though.

This is a beautiful, clean and very well maintained property. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The exercise room is top-notch and has excellent equipment. The room was clean, well stocked, spacious. The included breakfast was excellent—lots of great choices. The only drawback is that there is not much in terms of walkably-close places to eat. Otherwise, this is a terrific place to stay—BART station just across the street.

The hotel is fairly new and in a great, central location. However, we were supposed to have our room serviced every other day. We were there for 4 nights and not once did housekeeping come in and clean the room. We even asked housekeeping when we left our room to please clean the room and no one ever showed up. Very disappointing. The breakfast that was included with the room was very poor quality food and we were not even able to eat it.

We had a nice stay at the Residence Inn and would stay here again. The room was a decent size and had everything you needed in the kitchen, which made it very convenient and comfortable. This is ideal for longer stays. However, we did notice several ants in the bathroom and a few other areas of the room. By the time we saw them, it was already late, so we didn’t get a chance to call the staff. As for breakfast, the selection was quite limited and could be improved to offer more variety and better quality.

Really nice room with kitchenette. Pool was tiny and not great. Nice free breakfast. It would be nice if at check in they told you where pool was and all the details of the hotel, as there is nothing in room explaining anything about the spa, grounds, etc.

Fantastic location - about a mile from Trader Joe’s, Target, Nordstrom, Apple, Anthropology, Whole Foods, and lots of shops and restaurants. Our room was perfectly clean, showers were hot, breakfast was convenient, rooms were clean, kitchenette was well-stocked, and I appreciated the guest laundry. We were able to park on the street for under $3 which worked great as it was 100 feet from the front door. Overall, a great stay!

Great hotel in a very central location. Close to cute downtown Walnut Creek for eating and shopping. Clean and spacious room, comfy bed and nice staff. Love that they accommodate pets. Complimentary breakfast was good. Valet parking was easy and convenient but there is paid parking in the front and on the side of the hotel which is less costly if preferred.

The hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Only thing that lost a couple stars was that we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room due to staff still cleaning it at 4pm. Luckily the gentlemen took off $10 for valet.
