Oceanfront Texas Condo heated Pool: Pet Friendly

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Our family had a wonderful stay in this condo. It was so spacious, and the condo itself exceeded my expectations. It's very updated and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes and utensils. My kids loved the games and the hundreds of movies provided. They especially enjoyed watching Shrek in 3D. The huge balcony was so relaxing to enjoy in the evenings, and the pool was never too crowded. The walk to the beach was a bit far but you can drive to the boardwalk if you don't want to walk the entire way. The only real cons I would say were very small things that could easily be given more attention to from the managing company. All that being said, I would rate the condo itself a 5 star plus but the company that manages the property a 3.5. When we arrived, the condo is set to sleep 6, but there were only 4 sets of wash cloths provided and there were no kitchen towels or dish rags provided. It may have just been an oversight, but it made cleaning up after ourselves very difficult. We did finally get in contact with silver sands to get some more towels. They were very kind and apologetic but admitted they were short staffed. A couple other small things that would help make the experience 5 stars would be a starter pack or at least a small amount of laundry detergent to at least be able to do one load without having to go out and buy some. I know this is a pet friendly condo, but housekeeping missed big clumps of dog fur here and there and the laundry area smelled a bit like a litter box. Thankfully the smell was confined to that one area. Overall, this condo was amazing and I would absolutely stay here again on an off peak time when it's not as pricey.

Myself, my fiancé, and our two dogs stayed here. Location is great and we had plenty of space in the condo. The view was incredible for sunsets. It was a short stay, but we would absolutely book again - thank you!

The reantal was about 200 yards from the shoreline that was benefit because the trocpial storm alberto hit while we where there. The restroom non had any rugs which made it very slippery for the littles. The storm did let some water in from the balcony in the master room we had to use a bed sheet to leave on the floor. The whole rental had a awful smell we reached out to the office and they took me 2 air fresher and a plug in. Some of the cloth counches have a bad smell and the master dresser has a smell that made it linger throughout .Cooking dishes where not all clean, the rental just did not have a clean smell. The pool was fun, it was kept up with and out side was very clean all the time. Wifi and cable when out 3 times one time with the storm the other times we dont know why maintaince tried to fix it but could not.

The one thing i didn’t like was, people whom weren’t staying a property were using the pool and hot tub. It was to crowded and loud

We picked this amazing place because it was pet friendly but turned out to be kid friendly also with games for kids a large patio for them to play on. Large enough we had 7 other family members come over for dinner, some ate outside others had plenty of room inside. You can see the owner’s passion for their dogs which translated over to our love of our dog also. They had a beautiful picture in the main bedroom that reminded us of one of our dogs we lost three years ago. Even our oldest grandson looked at it and said is that Burger papa! Very comfortable A/C works great ceiling fans in every room made it. Very nice to sleep at night. Have already recommended to a friend that has a dog heading down later this summer!

A very nicely updated condo. It has a well stocked kitchen and ample supplies throughout. This is a smaller complex so there was never a crowd in the pool. Port Aransas is very close for restaurants and shopping.

We stayed in this unit for 2 nights and it was perfect for our 2 families. The kids loved the trundle in the living room nook and the 2 bedrooms were a great size and very comfortable. We brought our lab and he loved walking around on the huge balcony! The only con is the spare bedroom bed seems to be missing the middle wood piece that goes under the bed so it sinks a little in the middle but still very comfortable! We will rent this place again as we loved it!

We love Mustang Island Beach Club condos and have stayed twice in 2 different condos. The kids love the pool and beach access. It is a very well maintained property and dog friendly. We had an issue with the AC unit, but it was quickly resolved, but it still hindered our time there.

We loved our stay at Mustang Beach. The condo was very clean, roomy, and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The kids loved the games provided and the pool was a highlight of their trip.

Everything was in working order and the condo was well stocked. The only issue was cleanliness as the floor was dirty and the windows haven't been cleaned in a while. There was no laundry detergent to wash clothes either.

The Condo was awesome. It was Super clean and perfect location to the beach. Having a short private drive to the bridge to the beach helped out a lot. The Condo was stashed with all kinds of helpful things including beach accessories. Great stay and a good time

Place was nice and accommodating with close access to the beach but it was just dirty. Had to wash dishes when we got there. Lots of pet hair on the floor plus a hair balls along the base boards. Also pet food through out the floor. When we checked in towels were damp which was unpleasant. I understand it is pet friendly place but still should be clean. Also under bed was trash (empty Chip bags and juice boxes). I have pics so I'm not making it up. Will probably not be coming back.

Our stay could not have been better! Gary and Sandra thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible! From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed. Lovely decorations, a welcome note with snacks and fixings for pancakes, a beach/pool cart with an umbrella, chairs, and towels, and an immaculate vacation place all around. The view was beautiful and we loved having our coffee out on the deck. We look forward to returning in the near future for a longer stay!

The place itself was fantastic! Plenty of room. Actually more room than anticipated. Has an amazing wraparound deck, which my dog loved to catch the breeze on! We had zero problems with the unit. Was Excellent! It was a bit of a trek to the beach, but walkable. You could also drive about 1/4 of a mile to a small parking lot and walk right over on the boardwalk. All and all, an overall great experience. The kids loved it

We’ve been to Port Aransas several times to different condos and this was the most well stocked one we’ve ever been in. Good communication with owner and easy directions to follow. Overall would stay here again!

Gary & Sandra were super great with communicating with us and anything that we needed. Their condo was super clean and filled with all of those extra necessities that we tend to forget when traveling. They even left a beach cart filled with chairs, towels, and toys for us to borrow while at the beach. I cannot say enough good things about this property. We loved our stay!

First, let me say that the hosts went above and beyond to provide all amenities one might need in the condo. Forgot your beach chairs? No problem - they are there in the handy beach cart, along with towels and a beach umbrella. The kitchen was completely and thoroughly stocked and every utensil's home even labeled! The dishes were also a cut above your average beach condo provisions - we appreciated the Le Crueset coffee mugs and nice wine glasses. Each room having its own door out to the large deck was a plus too. Our only disappointments? Primarily in the description provided, or not provided, in the condo listing. While it is technically on the second floor, it is three floors up since the ground floor is not actually the first floor. And it is a LOT of steps with beach gear - actually 6 flights. Had we brought our dogs, it would have been way too many to carry them up and down (they are small dogs). Additionally, the description says it is "Beachfront," which in my mind means on the beach or very very near - not a 15-minute boardwalk haul, and we were sad to find there is no golf cart access to the beach. We ended up buying a beach pass and driving there every day. Regardless, I still give the condo 5 stars thanks to the lovely decor and thoughtful amenities, as well as the excellent communication from our host. I would, however recommend that the things I addressed above be made clear in the listing to avoid any future guest disappointment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gary and Sandra’s condo. They kept us well informed throughout our entire stay. They provided extra little touches like snacks and essentials that we may have needed. It felt very personal. The condo was clean and they thought of everything that we may have needed!

We loved the condo. It worked for what we needed. We did have an issue with the door lock but we were able to get a key to lock the door. Gary was putting a new lock in after we left. Also the Keurig stopped working after 3 cups. Gary was replacing that too. All issues were addressed and we were happy with our stay. Only thing I would add is the walk to the beach with the beach cart is not convenient. It is. Stone drive that has holes filled with larger rocks then when you get to the wooden walk way you have stairs to carry it up and a long path to walk. I am not leaving this as a complaint but information for someone that might not be able to make the walk and the extra stairs. You can drive back to the wooden walk way. It just doesn’t have much parking at the end. Someone with small children might have their hands full getting to the beach. We really have no complaints and we would recommend.

We loved the condo. It worked for what we needed. We did have an issue with the door lock but we were able to get a key to lock the door. Gary was putting a new lock in after we left.
