This us right on the ocean. There is a small beach access on the side with sand of the hotel. Beach access not real accessible. You can hear the waves crashing in your room which is great . That being said. Here is the down side. Old mattresses on our beds. Bathroom door sticks and doesnt close. Shower door does not latch. No in room coffee maker. There is one in the small lobby but was not working. Hot water only. We had hot chocolate and tea so that was at leadt something. The lobby hours are 8 to 10. If you get locked out of your room and call the hotel its just a recording. Someone locked herself out and there was a guest that stays here alor that knocked on the room door next to the lobby to wake up the staff to let her in. The bell didnt work in the lobby. Hotel in a good location but is pretty old and in rough shape

First time staying here as I usually book one of the newer properties in the area but they were booked so I rolled the dice. Cons - 1) No air conditioning. Which is not unusual in the Bay Area but I sleep hot and didn’t feel safe opening a window in a one story building. Don’t get me wrong, THE AREA IS GREAT but one can never be too safe. 2) Paper thin walls. We could hear the conversations in the adjacent rooms. Pros - 1) GREAT VALUE for the money. 2) I could see the waves crashing from my bed. 3) Awesome service. 4) Comfortable beds. 5) SUPER conveniently located, close to everything local.

Location was amazing- right in front of the breaker waters and beach! The front desk was super nice and very accommodating. We arrived early and she gave us tge option of 3 different room locations- very much appreciated! The room was clean and had All amenities needed except for a blow dryer. I found out you had to put in a request for one, which was very odd. LOVED having our windows open at night to hear the waves crashing! Area was very quiet and felt safe with a restaurant right next door. We had to check out before the office opened at 9am, so left our room key in a designated tray in lobby. I was not too thrilled about leaving our key out in the open to public with no staff around because anyone could walk into lobby and use our marked room number key to enter our room after we left and before staff arrived. The area seemed safe enough but nowadays you just don’t know about someone going in and vandalizing or stealing items…. Otherwise we loved everything else about this hotel and would recommend!

BEAUTIFUL Location right on the water we saw whales in the ocean has a restaurant Nick's rock about on properly. We were there on a Sunday and went to a restaurant Grape in the fog which had a jazz band. Everyone had dogs walking around We came from the airport in an Lyft($30) if you have bags and your room is not ready they don't have stops they let us put them in the room while cleaning. NO AC ROOM WAS VERY HOT. WE HAD TO KEEP THE WINDOWS AND DOOR OPEN. We were there for just one night

If you are looking for the quintessential water front motel this is it. Do not expect room service, microwave, or coffee pot, but you do get open windows to the sounds of the surf and a clean recently remodeled room. Walkable to coffee, dining, beach, hiking.

This is a beach hotel and an older property. The room was very clean. The view and the beach access were such a treat!! It is a busy parking lot, but the hotel has designated space. The walls are little thin and there is no coffee in the room. It is available in the office during opening hours. Clean room with beach and view access ... a good combination!

Great little hotel. Clean, pleasant staff & literally in front of the beach. Water is like 200' from your back window. Not many features but has a fridge & there is a microwave in the front office. Would recommend

Rockaway Inn was priced lower but tried Sea Breeze because it was right on beach. We were disappointed because bed had a lot of little black specs not sure i hope it was sand particles so i slept on top of covers. The restaurant next door Nicks was excellent.

We really liked it. Only has 1 restaurant to eat at. Unless you want to pay $50 a plate. View is beautiful. Easy to find. Very clean. Nice staff.

Perfect location! Loved sleeping with the window cracked & hearing the ocean all night! Beverly was super friendly! Moonraker was a beautiful restaurant and right across the street! The shower drain was SUPER sluggish so the water level rose and rose while I was showering. It did eventually drain after I got out, but it was kind of gross while I was showering (plus I had to rush so the water didn't overflow out of the shower). The bed was also pretty uncomfortable.

The room was dirty. The floor was not cleaned. We had to wipe up a spill. The towel turned black. Also, the shower was not cleaned. Long black hair was everywhere, as was sand in the shower. Walls are paper thin. Could hear the neighbor snore all night. The beds were terrible. You need to get better mattresses. You stay on those things most of the visit. The staff was nice. The location is as close to the ocean as you can get. There is a great view and access to a small beach. I was surprised with the high reviews on Experian. If there was no ocean, the ratings would be about 5. If you want a cheap oceanfront motel and are not particular, this one may be ok. If you want clean and or decent, you may try somewhere else.

Your staff is very welcoming and kind, and you can’t beat the beautiful view. However, the walls are VERY thin… because of the noise (snoring from the left and young/loud couple on the right), I enjoyed zero sleep.

Can't beat the location. I wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel, and it wasn't, but rooms kept up well with nice, clean beds. Walls were thin and I could hear people talking next door. However, I liked the hotel policy of no loud noise after 10:00 PM. Guests seems to observe this. It would be even more fantastic if the rooms had screen doors or the windows would open so you could listen to the surf at night!

Great location, and nice updates (new furniture, TV). This is a 2-star hotel, the extra pay is for hearing the ocean in your room... as long as your neighbors are quiet enough (mine were not). Also, it is on a beach, but by California standards that beach is awful. If you can, take your car and drive up or down PCH for 10-20 minutes to a much nicer spot.

We had a great stay at The Sea Breeze Motel. We enjoyed leaving the window cracked and listening to the crashing waves against the rocks. Room was a little small but we weren’t in it that much so it was ok. Nice newly remodeled bathroom. We were within walking distance to a couple of different restaurants. Our only complaint was the bathroom door would not close. Could have been swollen from the moisture from the ocean. The lady at the front office was very pleasant (wish I would have gotten her name). I would definitely recommend this little gem of a motel.

No frills, but very clean & comfortable right at the beach! Celine (management) went out of her way to make me very comfortable - above & beyond the job. She is great. I will return because of the location, comfort, cleanliness and mostly because of Celine!

That being said. Here is the down side. Old mattresses on our beds. Bathroom door sticks and doesnt close. Shower door does not latch. No in room coffee maker. There is one in the small lobby but was not working. Hot water only. We had hot chocolate and tea so that was at leadt something. The lobby hours are 8 to 10. If you get locked out of your room and call the hotel its just a recording. Someone locked herself out and there was a guest that stays here alor that knocked on the room door next to the lobby to wake up the staff to let her in. The bell didnt work in the lobby. Hotel in a good location but is pretty old and in rough shape

We arrived early and she gave us tge option of 3 different room locations- very much appreciated! The room was clean and had All amenities needed except for a blow dryer. I found out you had to put in a request for one, which was very odd. LOVED having our windows open at night to hear the waves crashing! Area was very quiet and felt safe with a restaurant right next door. We had to check out before the office opened at 9am, so left our room key in a designated tray in lobby. I was not too thrilled about leaving our key out in the open to public with no staff around because anyone could walk into lobby and use our marked room number key to enter our room after we left and before staff arrived. The area seemed safe enough but nowadays you just don’t know about someone going in and vandalizing or stealing items…. Otherwise we loved everything else about this hotel and would recommend!

Sink was backed up. We notified the front desk and the problem was still there when we returned later that evening. They switched us to another room but only after it took 45 minutes to get someone to authorize that. Spoke to the owner the next morning and she gave us a poor excuse as to why it wasn’t fixed Said she would refund a portion of the stay but have not seen anything.

It was a very frustrating experience going to the Seabreeze motel in Pacifica. I was booked into a wing that allowed pets and had some noisy dogs near me. When I went to the lobby, the woman at the check-in counter said that she would have a clean room on the non-pet wing and get back to me in 45 minutes. She never did get back to me and when I went back to the lobby, it was a different woman staffing the desk. When I told her my dilemma, she said there was nothing she could do because the cleaning crew had left already and if I didn’t like the room, I could leave. I asked if I would get a refund if I left and she said no. She had no alternatives.

We love staying here! It takes you back! It’s a vibe! And the restaurant and lounge next door…food is great and fun place to dance in the evening! The motel is right on the ocean/beach. We always leave our window open and sleep like a baby listening to the waves all night. The owner is super kind and friendly. The Moonraker restaurant across the street is good too! With a great view, piano playing and nice atmosphere for a romantic dinner.

Beach is within walking distance from our room, with a stunning ocean view from our room as well! It was a beautiful romantic getaway for me and my fiancé. Found a great rate on Expedia! We Highly recommend this place if you're visiting San Francisco because it's right in the out skirts just close enough to get where you are going within a timely manner and would double as a second getaway from being in the city all day.

We had a good stay at Seabreeze. The location is great, it’s right on the beach and it has a restaurant connected and there are other restaurants nearby. The room was clean and it was quiet at night all we heard was the sound of the waves hitting the rocks! We will definitely come back!

This is our first stay here. The motel is great for it's location and the staff was really nice. We were enjoying ourselves so much we booked an extra night. We did have to switch rooms for the second night but the view was even better. The room was clean and fresh. No frills but I appreciated the fridge and extra towels/blankets. Being this close to the ocean we slept with the window open so the extra blankets were needed. There are a lot of people around walking around but we never felt unsafe even with the windows open. We were slow to get up our second day and paid for a late checkout. We ate at Nick's, Moonrakers, and Breakers... All just a short walk. The food was amazing. The only thing a little disappointing which has nothing to do with the hotel was that our child is in a wheelchair and we couldn't get her to the beach from the motel. I had looked at pictures before we booked and it looked like with some work we could but it was too steep in person. That's okay! We knew from previous trips the Taco Bell on the beach down the road had a good wheelchair access point (still not technically accessible). Her chair fit in the room and exteria chair wouldn't have fit in the bathroom. or hallway. It's not a need for us but we expected this since we didn't ask for an accessible room. All in all great stay from the Sea Breeze Motel! We will definitely be back!

I'm not really a Motel person, but I booked this place for the ocean view, I was surprised how clean and comfortable the room was, although small, no coffee in room or microwave, had mini fridge, overall it was nice, has Nick's restaurant attached to it and did charge an incidental fee the the restaurant.

We only needed a one night stay. It’s small but did its purpose. The room has what you need. We didn’t need staff but we ran into them and ear hustled a couple times and they were so sweet and accommodating. The parking lot backs up to the beach! Gorgeous view! And nicks restaurant was really delicious! We tried to go to moonracker across the street and they turned their nose up to us. So sad.

We enjoyed our stay here. I had my little doggy was with me and it was pleasant experience. It gets a little loud at night as the restaurant is near by but apart from that we had a good stay. The trails are in walking distance and good restaurants are near by too. And of course walking distance from the beach.

Right on the beach, you hear waves crashing all day and night. May bother some. Plenty of shops near by including Nicks which may host a live band. Rooms are a but outdated but that only bothered the wife. I'm also a fisherman and I managed to land quite a few surf perch. We surely be return in the future.

This was certainly an experience, and that's what you're paying for when you stay here. The outside has definitely seen better days, long ago, but don't let it scare you. The room itself was extremely simple and basic... Bed, table, tv, bathroom. You have what you need and our room was clean. What you're paying for is the incredible views and amazing beach access. A very short walk to an amazing beach, or just look at the rocky shoreline and watch the sunset from your window. And you will need to leave that open, because it gets stuffy/hot fast in there. But it was absolutely amazing to listen to the crashing of the waves all night long. Not a great room but a wonderful experience. The service there was really good. I'm disabled and they were very accommodating with a shower chair. One of the only hotels we've been to that provided that! Also, we needed help with a box and the woman at the front desk was kind enough to get one for us. Things like that made our stay really nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for the experience and service. It made our trip up the coast really memorable.

Was down in the Central Valley the week prior for work & needed a place to sleep relatively close to the airport for an early flight & everything around SFO was booked or $500/night so decided to look a little farther out. Sea Breeze is an old motel but the rooms had been remodeled & were very clean. I stayed on the ocean side & I left window open to hear the waves, the sound & salt air was refreshing after working out in the heat of the Central Valley for a week, slept great & comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and location is close/centrally located to good food options. All the things you need, nothing you don’t. Thanks! Would stay again.
