Absolutely loved this property. Location is amazing just steps away from the beach. Every staff member was always helpful and smiling. It was clean and the courtyard was the perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend!

Très bien situé. Chambre très ordinaire et chambre de bain minuscule. Déjeuner rien de chaud sauf omelette et en plus pas de jus d'orange, ne vaut pas un quatre étoile, dommage car l'extérieur est de toute beauté avec chaises at fauteuil sous les palmiers.

The only good thing about this hotel is a very good breakfast. It is also clean. The room was decent size but minimalistic furniture with an overall impression of emptiness. The hotel is 4* but I have been in many 3* hotels which had better facilities. There was a small fridge in a room but it was empty. The worst part of our stay was a very small and uncomfortable bathroom. Each time we tried to open the door it did not open wide but banged into bidet. One could not sit on a toilet seat normally but only sideways as a plastic chair was in front of the toilet seat, stuck between the bottom of the washing basin and toilet seat. Shower cubicle was fine and reasonable size but trying to move within a bathroom was a nightmare. Could not wait to leave this hotel.

The property was in an excellent location from the train station. It was an easy 10 minute walk, only because we kept looking around at the beauty around us. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to anything that we needed. The rooms were clean and fresh smelling as well as the beds were comfortable. The breakfast as delicious and abundant, there was eggs, bacon great bread, fruit, cereal, pastries excellent coffee and tea. It was all just wonderful! Thank you, Jo and Eve

The hotel itself is very nice and the location is decent. One huge benefit is that there is a metro stop right outside the door and the train station is only one stop away. We thought the noise from the metro might be a problem at night but it wasn’t. There is not a lot right around the hotel which is why we only have the area around the property 3 stars. You have to ride the metro or walk a little bit to get to food and shops. We had scheduled a massage before arriving and upon arrival, we rescheduled for the same day at a later time. The man at the front desk told us it was done, but when our appointment time came, no one was in the spa. When we went up to check with the front desk they told us we had missed our appointment. This was frustrating. When the maids cleaned the room the forgot to give us bath towels on of the times and toilet paper another. It felt like we were always calling down to the front desk to get what we needed. Overall, we were happy with our stay with the exception of the staff and service. The hotel is clean, nice, and comfortable.

This is a serviceable hotel for staying in Monterosso al Mare. It is quite old and the rooms are small and basic, although everything was in working order. The chief issue is the very poor soundproofing, which can be a problem with noisy neighbors. The positives are excellent location, close to the large parking area and the beach. Questionable as to whether it is 4 stars but certainly fine for a stay if not expecting luxury.

1. Room was tiny 2. Shower was too small for an average adult 3. Broken and loose ceramic tiles in the room, makes a lot of noise when walking on the floor 4. Instructions pamphlet for the room safe was incorrect. Took 24 hrs to find someone to show us how to program the code. Would not recommend. 4 star rating is not accurate for this hotel. 2 stars Max.

Loved the hotel - great staff and location. The only problem is that the walls and floors have next to no noise insulation and when you have noisy neighbours who like to chat at 5am it is a little frustrating.

Nice hotel and staff but very small rooms. Barely fit in the shower. Excellent free breakfast though and convenient spot for walking. Love the town as there are many great restaurants at the other end.

At our checkin our prepaid reservation was not on their computer but they gave us the last available room that was a very good one. We agreed to pay for it again if neccesary. We would have to move to other room the next day but finally they found other solution. Hard stress for us chatting with Hotels.com trying but not achieving to resolve the trouble. Finally, the day after, the missed reservation was found in the Chain of intermediaries and everything was finally OK but we had a very bad situation. Palme Hotel did the best, peak of the season, a very nice place within mountains, most of good hotels sold out and our prepaid reservation missed.

Nice hotel and staff but very small rooms. Barely fit in the shower. Excellent free breakfast though and convenient spot for walking. Love the town as there are many great restaurants at the other end.

The only good thing about this hotel is a very good breakfast. It is also clean. The room was decent size but minimalistic furniture with an overall impression of emptiness. The hotel is 4* but I have been in many 3* hotels which had better facilities. There was a small fridge in a room but it was empty. The worst part of our stay was a very small and uncomfortable bathroom. Each time we tried to open the door it did not open wide but banged into bidet. One could not sit on a toilet seat normally but only sideways as a plastic chair was in front of the toilet seat, stuck between the bottom of the washing basin and toilet seat. Shower cubicle was fine and reasonable size but trying to move within a bathroom was a nightmare. Could not wait to leave this hotel.

Très bien situé. Chambre très ordinaire et chambre de bain minuscule. Déjeuner rien de chaud sauf omelette et en plus pas de jus d'orange, ne vaut pas un quatre étoile, dommage car l'extérieur est de toute beauté avec chaises at fauteuil sous les palmiers.

The property was in an excellent location from the train station. It was an easy 10 minute walk, only because we kept looking around at the beauty around us. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to anything that we needed. The rooms were clean and fresh smelling as well as the beds were comfortable. The breakfast as delicious and abundant, there was eggs, bacon great bread, fruit, cereal, pastries excellent coffee and tea. It was all just wonderful! Thank you, Jo and Eve
