NOISY!!!! The hot tub is open 24 hrs, allowing for rowdy and obnoxious behavior in the middle of the night! I complained to staff but they didn't do anything. Our room was directly across from it. Also, a guy above us decides to start cursing and yell at his partner throughout the night!! Domestic abuse? Also complained but they did nothing. The clerk said he will notify security and when I brought it up again the next day and talked to manager, nothing was mentioned to security! A little disappointed in this. Tried to change rooms but we were on our last day. The facility and rooms were great, bathrooms are small. It's nicely equipped with a Nespresso machine and pods and everything you need for morning joe. The lavender lemonade, luaus and bottled water were a nice touch upon arrival. The mandatory valet parking was pretty steep at $50/day. The pools were really nice. Fresh infused water and free sunscreen readily available. We would stay again but we'd make sure we are not across from the pool!

I love this property. The beach access, the staff, the pools (adult pool) totally make the price tag worth it. The food could use a little love, its not bad but not great. Best food options are definitely outside of this hotel.

This is a beautiful property. The beach at the resort is phenomenal and it allowed people to spread out between it and the pools. The chairs around the main pool and astroturf required more clean up. They did not have enough people going around when people left to clean up trash and towels.

This place is absolutely magical. Perfectly situated on the most beautiful oceanfront property among lush gardens and swaying palm trees. It indeed feels like an exclusive boutique hotel. The service was stellar, the plentiful and delicious buffet breakfast should not be missed, the spa is dreamy, and the pools and private beach are glorious. The only downside is that 2 of the 3 restaurants on-site are specialty, signature restaurants, leaving only one option for more standard fare, and the food options there are very limited. With only a few restaurant options off-property, it would be helpful if the hotel doubled the standard fare food options. But, in spite of that, we will definitely be back.

The hotel is gorgeous with lots of different pools and areas to explore. The beach has beds / umbrellas and we were even able to borrow body boars. Sadly the excursions included in the stay were fully booked when we arrived and we weren’t there long enough to book for future days. The parking and resort fees are quite high (possibly very common in the US) so consider that when booking ($59 parking and $50 resort fee per day), breakfast is also not included so your extras add up very quickly.

This property has some incredible views and beaches. Rooms are spacious (although not necessarily 5 star luxurious) but they are designed for people who are at the pool and beach all day. We had enough room for my son to have his own space and bathroom. The staff are friendly. There are plenty of pools and you have all the regular facilities you need. Some good dining options onsite too including a convenient cafe. Parking, access to spa and resort fees are irritating but not unusual. We particularly thought the hotel did an amazing job with the Luai and would highly recommend it.

The infinity pools were beautiful and the night lights in the pool set a peaceful tone! We had a suite with a semi private pool which was wonderful to tap morning or night dips.

The property is stunning, with the landscaping and beach being my favorite parts. The beach is beautiful, and the complimentary chair setup, along with activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding, made for a perfect beach day. The pools are well-kept, though shallow (only about 4 feet deep) and not particularly special beyond the views. Still, I enjoyed taking a dip and relaxing in the hot tub every night. The rooms are comfortable, with a spacious shower and soaking tub. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is high praise from a picky sleeper like me. However, there are some issues—like the shower lacking shelves for products and leaking into the bathroom. The doors were also awkward and hard to maneuver. While the soaking tub was a great feature, it took nearly 40 minutes to fill. I felt misled by the promise of "free" mini-fridge snacks and drinks. In reality, this meant one bag of chips (daily) and one canned drink per person. We received cookies on the first day but never again. My only major complaint was the lack of personable service at check-in and check-out, especially considering this was our honeymoon. I expected a bit more acknowledgment. On the food front, the brunch was excellent every time we went, with plenty of delicious options. My favorites were the mochi waffles, crispy potatoes, and made-to-order eggs. However, the Chef’s Table was underwhelming and not worth the price.

We just stayed from august 26-sept 1. Many people canceled trips to Maui during that time period so maybe we were very spoiled by all the great service and quiet atmosphere. The resort itself is beautiful and clean and full of helpful, laid back and happy people. My only complaint is the usual buffet breakfast was not available due to the staff not being able to keep up with the demands of making everything at this time. The breakfast was still amazing, just a little bit limited.

Had some issue when am checking in Found bugs and cockroaches in the room like 3 times and when I talk about it no one really listens to me Charged me again form a breakfast that was including on my reservation they said they will solve it but they didn’t Also charged me for 2 people breakfast although it was only me Complimentary things in the room was not refilled

Pool was unheated when we arrived but heated the rest of the trip, so that was OK. Cockroach found in the room on two occasions so they could do a better job with pest management. Odd that there were so many pools and only one hot tub. Entryway tree lighting needs to be redone. Several lights were out. Overall, staff and service were good, especially aunt Debbie

Honestly, a little bit of everything stood out. The room was spotless, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the overall property and amenities were beautiful. The location right by the shops and restaurants was also a huge plus. It all came together to make the stay amazing.

3/5 ain’t so bad! Pros: Wonderfully nestled in the flowing Wailea area, the Andaz is a gem of a hotel. The architecture is modern. The space is grand. The grounds are spacious. The gardens are meticulously manicured. It’s a beautiful place to be. Rooms are nice and clean. Modern. Complimentary snacks and water is a nice touch. Views are spectacular. Cons: No breakfast. At the price you pay, breakfast should be complimentary. Parking, I understand should cost something, but $98 a day is too steep ($50 resort fee, $48 parking fee). What makes matters worse is that Valets seem to expect a tip every time they drive your car 50 yards. One valet actually insisted I Venmo them - how unbecoming. Room design, the door leading to the bathroom kept banging into the front door. Annoying. Electronic shade - a nice touch, but an inconvenience since there’s a balcony, so if you want to access the balcony you need to wait 10 seconds for the shade to roll up. Concierge - I asked if there was an upgrade room possibility. I was offered two options $400/night extra or $150 extra per night. I countered and said if they could lower the $150/night to $75-85, I’d do it. The concierge never got back to me. Sad. We were very disappointed with the Andaz on this return visit. Several things were broken in our room including the tv and the electronic blinds. Maintenance was called two times. The location is great but we will not return.

NOISY!!!! The hot tub is open 24 hrs, allowing for rowdy and obnoxious behavior in the middle of the night! I complained to staff but they didn't do anything. Our room was directly across from it. Also, a guy above us decides to start cursing and yell at his partner throughout the night!! Domestic abuse? Also complained but they did nothing. The clerk said he will notify security and when I brought it up again the next day and talked to manager, nothing was mentioned to security! A little disappointed in this. Tried to change rooms but we were on our last day. The facility and rooms were great, bathrooms are small. It's nicely equipped with a Nespresso machine and pods and everything you need for morning joe. The lavender lemonade, luaus and bottled water were a nice touch upon arrival. The mandatory valet parking was pretty steep at $50/day. The pools were really nice. Fresh infused water and free sunscreen readily available. We would stay again but we'd make sure we are not across from the pool!

This property has some incredible views and beaches. Rooms are spacious (although not necessarily 5 star luxurious) but they are designed for people who are at the pool and beach all day. We had enough room for my son to have his own space and bathroom. The staff are friendly. There are plenty of pools and you have all the regular facilities you need. Some good dining options onsite too including a convenient cafe. Parking, access to spa and resort fees are irritating but not unusual. We particularly thought the hotel did an amazing job with the Luai and would highly recommend it.

Initially given a room with an aweful layout with a view of the dumpsters. We were woken up at 3:30am by a rooster and then shortly after the loud noise of the trash being collected by waste management. It made it impossible to sleep the first night. I went to the front desk to request to be moved to a different room due to the rooster and was told the only availability would be an upgrade which they had charged me over an additional $200/n. They said the rooster comes frequently and they can’t control it. The food at the pool Area was mediocre at best and the service was non existent. They were completely understaffed for the thanksgiving week. If we wanted drinks or to order food , we literally had to chase down staff. The resort didn’t appear to be packed at all. It looked like they hired homeless people to work the beach. We were bought dirty towels and when we brought it up to the attendant, he said they arent dirty they are just stained. They thought it was acceptable to give out stained towels at a 5 star resort. We ended up booking a room at the grand wailea the last 2 days of our trip just to get better service at the pool and it was significantly better there.

The staff was the best part aside from the very beautiful views. If you are going to go there I would highly recommend the beach facing view from the room. So worth it. Lovely staff and worth every penny.

The property is stunning, with the landscaping and beach being my favorite parts. The beach is beautiful, and the complimentary chair setup, along with activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding, made for a perfect beach day. The pools are well-kept, though shallow (only about 4 feet deep) and not particularly special beyond the views. Still, I enjoyed taking a dip and relaxing in the hot tub every night. The rooms are comfortable, with a spacious shower and soaking tub. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is high praise from a picky sleeper like me. However, there are some issues—like the shower lacking shelves for products and leaking into the bathroom. The doors were also awkward and hard to maneuver. While the soaking tub was a great feature, it took nearly 40 minutes to fill. I felt misled by the promise of "free" mini-fridge snacks and drinks. In reality, this meant one bag of chips (daily) and one canned drink per person. We received cookies on the first day but never again. My only major complaint was the lack of personable service at check-in and check-out, especially considering this was our honeymoon. I expected a bit more acknowledgment. On the food front, the brunch was excellent every time we went, with plenty of delicious options. My favorites were the mochi waffles, crispy potatoes, and made-to-order eggs. I wanted to love this property, however, it was a disappointment. The only people that were kind and hospitable were the valet. The front desk did not care about hospitality, nor decency. We booked with the andazbabymoon promo code, available on the Hyatt website for our stay. My husband called ahead to make sure they knew that was important to me a few weeks before and to confirm the room would have a tub. We booked the room specifically for that amenity and paid an additional 147$ a night for it. When we arrived they gave us a dirty run down room, the bed was a rock and it only had a shower with soap and hair all over in it. We asked them to move us rooms and they refused. We asked them to at least move us to the room we booked for and they said they were all unavailable because they were all booked or being renovated. I felt very socially profiled based on comments that were made, we are an upper middle class family, we stay in resorts regularly but this was our first Hawaii experience and it was awful at the andaz. The four seasons had more activities and dinner options as well as better hospitality for just attending their events. The concierge was rude and acted like we wasted her time by wanting to book excursions and she booked our spa visit at a time that removed the ability to take advantage of the spa amenities, the spa rectified. The island is amazing the people off of the resort were wonderful. I would never stay at the andaz again or recommend them to anyone.

Asked several times if i will be texted once room is available, answered me that yes, it will be in a text, with a hint of annoyance, lo and behold, no text, instead received email that room is ready. Surprise! No information what amenities available upon check in, no info where beach snorkel, chairs, kayak are, etc. But then again, this is OUR experience, it may be different from others, i was just maybe expecting more from a high end hotel. Nevertheless, the grounds, our room (ocean view), beach and nature did not disappoint! It was breathtaking! If only the people in it matches the hotel, it would be a little slice of paradise 😉

Valet lost my Rental car key the night before leaving. Missed my flight because of this. Hotel manager offered no solution when I was stuck at airport and had to find accommodations for an extra night because no other flights. Poor attitude and customer service. They lost my car key for my Turo! Had to have it towed out of the lot(which hotel paid for) but did not take further responsibility when I lost my flight.

Everything was wonderful! The property, the staff beach, restaurants, pools were amazing. Expedia on the other hand was horrible! After booking, I hadn’t received an email confirming my trip. After my phone call a few days later, I was informed I had to pay more money because I “was on the pay page too long”. I will never book on Expedia again.

Of the many properties in Wailea, Andaz felt more elite, smaller, in a good way, and had a friendly staff who focused on the relaxation and escape that their guests hoped for on their island holiday. Five stars all around, we are already looking forward to our next vacation at Andaz in this tropical paradise.

Honestly, a little bit of everything stood out. The room was spotless, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the overall property and amenities were beautiful. The location right by the shops and restaurants was also a huge plus. It all came together to make the stay amazing.

I love this property. The beach access, the staff, the pools (adult pool) totally make the price tag worth it. The food could use a little love, its not bad but not great. Best food options are definitely outside of this hotel.

We just stayed from august 26-sept 1. Many people canceled trips to Maui during that time period so maybe we were very spoiled by all the great service and quiet atmosphere. The resort itself is beautiful and clean and full of helpful, laid back and happy people. My only complaint is the usual buffet breakfast was not available due to the staff not being able to keep up with the demands of making everything at this time. The breakfast was still amazing, just a little bit limited.

This place is absolutely magical. Perfectly situated on the most beautiful oceanfront property among lush gardens and swaying palm trees. It indeed feels like an exclusive boutique hotel. The service was stellar, the plentiful and delicious buffet breakfast should not be missed, the spa is dreamy, and the pools and private beach are glorious. The only downside is that 2 of the 3 restaurants on-site are specialty, signature restaurants, leaving only one option for more standard fare, and the food options there are very limited. With only a few restaurant options off-property, it would be helpful if the hotel doubled the standard fare food options. But, in spite of that, we will definitely be back.

Very nice property. The only complaint is the cost of basic items. Coke at the pool, 10$, hamburger 32$, hot dog 17$. Resort fee and parking were quite huge too.

3/5 ain’t so bad! Pros: Wonderfully nestled in the flowing Wailea area, the Andaz is a gem of a hotel. The architecture is modern. The space is grand. The grounds are spacious. The gardens are meticulously manicured. It’s a beautiful place to be. Rooms are nice and clean. Modern. Complimentary snacks and water is a nice touch. Views are spectacular. Cons: No breakfast. At the price you pay, breakfast should be complimentary. Parking, I understand should cost something, but $98 a day is too steep ($50 resort fee, $48 parking fee). What makes matters worse is that Valets seem to expect a tip every time they drive your car 50 yards. One valet actually insisted I Venmo them - how unbecoming. Room design, the door leading to the bathroom kept banging into the front door. Annoying. Electronic shade - a nice touch, but an inconvenience since there’s a balcony, so if you want to access the balcony you need to wait 10 seconds for the shade to roll up. Concierge - I asked if there was an upgrade room possibility. I was offered two options $400/night extra or $150 extra per night. I countered and said if they could lower the $150/night to $75-85, I’d do it. The concierge never got back to me. Sad. Also, when I was checking in, they took my CC but never told me what they were charging as a deposit. I had to call down and find out. Overall: A beautiful place to be, but be ready to be price gouged. Would consider going back, but would need to get the room with bfast.

The beach is beautiful, and the complimentary chair setup, along with activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding, made for a perfect beach day. The pools are well-kept, though shallow (only about 4 feet deep) and not particularly special beyond the views. Still, I enjoyed taking a dip and relaxing in the hot tub every night. The rooms are comfortable, with a spacious shower and soaking tub. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is high praise from a picky sleeper like me. However, there are some issues—like the shower lacking shelves for products and leaking into the bathroom. The doors were also awkward and hard to maneuver. While the soaking tub was a great feature, it took nearly 40 minutes to fill. I felt misled by the promise of "free" mini-fridge snacks and drinks. In reality, this meant one bag of chips (daily) and one canned drink per person. We received cookies on the first day but never again.
