We came for an event and the hotel was located right where we needed to be. Room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking and may great restaurants near by. Would stay again.

Hotel staff were very friendfly and helpful HOWEVER, Upon arriving we learn the pool is closed (literal reason we booked here, so the kids could swim). We could use the pool in the other hotel, across the parking lot. Breakfast was non-existent. When we came down Sunday morning the waffle batter was gone, no eggs, no sausage/bacon (emptry trays) and slightly undercooked potatoes. There was still another hour to breakfast service left.

Best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The staff (Lionel) at check in was super accommodating as I had a credit card issue. The room was clean with properly working AC. The gym was really big, clean and fully functional. Everything worked in there with plenty of space to do anything. Many Hampton Inns have small closets for gyms, this place was unusually good.

I had a comfortable room with a large comfy bed. The room was clean and the TV was large. I had a very relaxing visit to this Hampton Inn. The breakfast was delicious, with hot and cold options. The surrounding area had many food options, so I was very satisfied. I especially liked the 24 hour access to tea and hot chocolate (they had coffee too but I don't drink coffee).

The hotel itself seemed clean, however, all the lights in the breakfast area were caked with dust and grime. It was obvious these had not been cleaned in quite some time. Since these hung over the food area, I did not feel confident in the food I was eating. Beds were extremely comfortable, but pillows were horrible. No amenities were offered in the bathroom, such as shower cap, q-tips, etc. Water pressure in shower was very light. Shower floor looked old and dirty. Not sure I would stay at this establishment again.

Not sure why, but there was a constant blower noise coming from an outlet high up on the ceiling. It was not controllable by the fan setting on the thermostat. We were still able to get to sleep but the noise was annoying. Speaking of the thermostat, the temperature was set at 64 degrees and the a/c was blowing cold air. I would expect that the hotel staff would set it to a comfortable temperature, knowing the room was rented for the night. Especially when the outside temperature was in the low 30s.

Overall we had a pretty good experience. Check-in was very quick and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast options were very good. The room was clean and in good shape. My only complaint is the air conditioner in our room did not work correctly. I did not sleep well due to the heat and having to wake up and reset the air conditioner. It stayed at 75 degrees all night, well above the 70 degrees it was set at.

No clerk during the daytime visit to the hotel. Waited 15 min and then left. Checkin at 4:00pm, ripped bedspread cover was a poor impression, especially when you’re holding a deposit. Advised the front desk, but the bedspread remained for the 3-night stay. No pillow on the rollout bed. Used a pillow from the king bed and just slept 1 pillow short.

The property its self was clean, but the staff at the front desk was unwelcoming. The only nice staff person we ran into was a sweet lady and a nice young man working the the breakfast area and putting out coffee. Those two were incredibly courteous asking us how we were and if we needed help. These two deserve a raise! They were there saturday morning the 22nd. Even the lady when we checked out at the front desk acted like we were bothering her.

The worst part was that we got to the hotel at 4:50 pm and we still had to wait for another 30 minutes for our rooms to be ready. I can only imagine what would have been like if we checked in at 3 pm.

The front desk receptionist was rude, and unwelcoming. The room I booked was no longer available and the hotel was sold out. After a 15 hour drive and arriving at midnight (which was stated in the initial booking). Very disappointed that a Hilton honors member was treated this way!

The staff at this Hampton Inn & Suites were by far the nicest, most professional team that I have ever seen at a hotel. From the front desk staff to the kitchen staff, even to the call center reservation representative, they all provided such exceptional service. It was a pleasure staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia South Ft. Meade Area, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at this Hampton Inn & Suites were by far the nicest, most professional team that I have ever seen at a hotel. We had a nice, quiet stay here. Chose this location because it was close to Merriweather Post Pavilion. Staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast was included and had a decent selection. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Loved how close it was to merriweather post for concerts. Took uber to and from with no issues.

Loved how close it was to merriweather post for concerts. Took uber to and from with no issues.

Nice hotel. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the immediate area or close by. Only thing I would change is the check out time. The check out time is 11am where as most other hotels check out time is at noon.

We liked convince to our family and the lake near by to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. Breakfast was good nice area to eat. Hotel was nice and clean.

I had a comfortable room with a large comfy bed. The room was clean and the TV was large. I had a very relaxing visit to this Hampton Inn. The breakfast was delicious, with hot and cold options. The surrounding area had many food options, so I was very satisfied. I especially liked the 24 hour access to tea and hot chocolate (they had coffee too but I don't drink coffee).

This was simply the nicest hotel where I've ever stayed. The breakfast buffet was by far the nicest I have ever enjoyed.

Breakfast was mediocre. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful. When we checked out no one was in site. The room was nice. Comfortable and the AC was amazing! Nice and cold.

Hotel staff were very friendfly and helpful HOWEVER, Upon arriving we learn the pool is closed (literal reason we booked here, so the kids could swim). We could use the pool in the other hotel, across the parking lot. Breakfast was non-existent. When we came down Sunday morning the waffle batter was gone, no eggs, no sausage/bacon (emptry trays) and slightly undercooked potatoes. There was still another hour to breakfast service left.

Definitely the worst visit ever! Upon checking in, I learned that I would not be given the type of room that I had reserved and PAID IN ADVANCE. To make matters worse, the only room available was on the ground floor across the hallway from the hotel dining room where a large group met each night, got drunk, and literally yelled to each other and their kids running up and down the hall. My complaints to the front desk staff were completely ignored and the manager was nowhere to be found. I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me!
