Parking was super easy. I appreciated that their listing was very clear that I’d be on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator, no surprises. Checking in was easy and the front desk was very friendly. I appreciated their printed food recommendations not just in Hyde Park but also Poughkeepsie etc.

We loved this simple hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. We had 24 hour access to coffee, water, ice etc in the breakfast room. The breakfast was simple- fresh bagels and donuts, cereal, bananas. Great location to the FDR library and Vanderbilt mansion.

This place was stellar. I can't say enough about it and I will definitely look forward to staying here again. It is a pristine, blast-from-the-past motel where the old time feel has been preserved in the most conscientious way. The room was cleaner than any I have been in at any hotel or motel and the bed was more comfortable than any bed I've slept in at a motel or hotel anywhere. The simplicity of this place makes it just perfect. Not too much, not too little of anything. Everything needed is thoughtfully and carefully provided. The breakfast room is adorable and the grounds are beautifully kept as well. I'm grateful that this place exists and wish there were more like it!

The check-in/out process was quick and easy (and I even got to visit with Teddy, the corgi who lives there!). The rooms were great and way more spacious that the Quality Inn where we used to stay). There was a little coffee shop onsite with coffee, cereal, etc.

No frills,PROS: a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in shower, plenty of towels, television had plenty of channels and worked perfectly, though no MSNBC. Quiet and convent to attractions and shopping in area. CONS: No electric outlets near desk area. No adjustment to room temperature that I could find, but temperature was comfortable for me.

This was probably the nicest old-style motel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was basic, but clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast room was very cute. It was also one of the best continental breakfasts—no hot food, but good variety of pastries (love the multigrain options!) Well maintained and obvious pride in the business!

Big room with all the amenities. Lots of nice towels and comfy bed and more. Lovely lady at checkin and kept in touch by text. Nice little breakfast area always open for coffee, tea, water, ice. Older building and decor. The sign on the road and motel look was a little worrisome but turned out all good! Great price vs staying at omega. 20 minute winding dark roads to get there though. If you want to visit Hyde park, great location.

I attended a workshop at Omega Institute and Roosevelt Inn was the perfect off campus accommodation for our weekend. I would definitely stay here for the next workshop. The room was clean and the staff was so nice, she even helped us with a wine bottle opener!

The Hotel is very nice. The rooms are super clean and it's quiet/peaceful. It's in a good location and honestly the complimentary breakfast is really awesome!! Fresh OJ, Tea, Coffee, Bagels, Muffins, Croissants, Cereal, Doughnuts- it's truly a really great place to stay!

This was probably the nicest old-style motel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was basic, but clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast room was very cute. It was also one of the best continental breakfasts—no hot food, but good variety of pastries (love the multigrain options!) Well maintained and obvious pride in the business!

We loved this simple hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. We had 24 hour access to coffee, water, ice etc in the breakfast room. The breakfast was simple- fresh bagels and donuts, cereal, bananas. Great location to the FDR library and Vanderbilt mansion.

The Roosevelt was better than expected: very clean, well maintained & furnished with all we needed. The coffee shop was also clean, with a fun retro vibe, but all the "food" was highly processed industrial stuff.

Only stayed one night. Room was neat clean and very spacious. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was true continental style (pastries, bagels, cereal, etc.). They do bring in fresh Dunkin Donuts daily! Priced right for these inflationary times and for a holiday weekend. Highly recommends.

We stayed two nights to see Hyde Park. Check in was easy. Our room was very clean and tidy. Parking was free. The continental breakfast was standard - kept us energized for the day ahead. For the money spent, it was a great value.
