It was very nice, very clean, love the balcony , workers very friendly, the front desk was very friendly, the bed and sheets were confortable and the sheets were so clean, the only downfall was the elevator but things happen definately will be returning

Excellent hotel!! Above average. The elevator just happened to be broke when we were there & we were on the top floor. But besides that, I highly recommend this hotel!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a nice kitchenette. The shower was really small and the door wouldn't close all the way. The elevator was down (we were notified in advance), which wss a slight inconvenience. Overall, it was a nice place in a great location. I would stay there again.

Clean and cozy, very nice pool. Short walk to boardwalk. Elevator was out during our stay but other than that was a great trip.

I liked the location and proximity to the beach, boardwalk, and stores on Asbury Ave. I liked that I could park my car on the premises at noon even though check in time wasn’t until 3. What I didn’t like was the ice machine being located out back which appeared to be rundown and unkempt. I also felt that my room (1102) was very dark. Having an additional table lamp or floor lamp would have been nice. The mini fridge kept things very cold but the freezer part of it desperately needed defrosting.

Thisbwas a very quaint place with a lot of chaem and character. Howerver, the main amenities of the stay was very lacking. The elevator did not work, so I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with my luggage. The TV in my room did not work.l, it n was very difficult to figure out how to turn it in and get stations that I was interested. Once I got it on the sound just went off. I tried to take a shower at night but the water was cold even though I ketbthe water run for quite a while to see if it would get warm.. I tried again i. The morning and the water was still cold, so I didint take a shower. There was no front desk coversge to ijform anyone of these issues.

The manor is in a great location for walking to the boardwalk and to the downtown area for shopping. The heated swim pool and hot tub was fantastic for this late Sept vacation. The room was clean and the patio area was nice to sit on in the evenings. Great place to stay. Looking forward to staying again.

The outside of the property beautiful and quaint. Our room was small but just what we needed for an overnight close to the boardwalk. Our stay was perfectly pleasant, but just a few things. There was a phone number on door for check in and we checked in by phone. Then given a door code. Thankfully we didn't need anything. The room was a bit humid and musty, so everything felt wet. They should leave the HVAC running to keep the humidity down.

It could have been so much better if it was just clean. We found old socks under the bed when my son was looking for his toy, there was clumps of hair on the floor and dust in the corners and on the fan, the refrigerator was sticky. I wiped the floor when I first got there because of my kids walking around bare foot and after just wiping next to the bed the wipes were black. It was a nice place and really convenient I just wish they did a more thorough job cleaning - the parking is also really rough. It was tough without an elevator but they warned us of that and they were working on getting it fixed…Also a very nice pool area my kids loved that, I did see the staff testing the pool daily. It was also very quiet.

First time going to Ocean City NJ. I got lucky and picked Ocean Manor Inn. The place is very clean. Close to the boardwalk. The pool area makes you feel like you are in a movie setting. It has statues, pool house thingy and the pool is heated with a jacuzzi on one side. I will be going again and again. Staff is excellent. Not one bad thing to say. Kudos to you Ocean Manor. I am somewhat hard to please when it comes to staying at places.

I absolutely loved the Ocean Manor. It was super clean and well maintained. Close to the beach and shopping. We walked everywhere from this spot. Had a nice patio that we ate meals on and sat on in the morning, waiting for our kids to wake up. The staff was helpful and extremely sweet. A family run business and it feels like it. I’m the best way. If we go back next year, I am definitely staying here!!

First of all there were white stains on the bedspreads dirty fingerprints or some kind of big 12-in circular dirt spot in the bathroom the floors did not look like they had been cleaned very dusty especially under the bed I found a hair on one of the pillows the shower curtain rod is completely totally rusted the trash can in the bathroom completely Rusty and there's a plug at the head of one of the beds that was broken and very loose and it had been smashed into the wall which to me I would think was a fire hazard. I just thought it looked nicer on the website pictures and it wasn't I would never go again nor would I ever recommend it to anybody

The property offers the opportunity of convenience to the Boardwalk, beach and downtown Asbury Avenue, while staying in a well preserved building full of history from a bygone era of the Flanders Hotel, where dormitory housing for the staff was once provided in this building. The recently renovated room 303 was beautiful with a balcony -- and a nice pool area! Book it!

Incredible location! A short block to the beach or (opposite direction) to the shops. We stayed in the apartment and enjoyed how spacious it was for 6 people. Two dedicated parking spots at no extra cost. Modern and clean. Full kitchen with plates, pots and pans, etc. View of the ocean and outdoor table and chairs! The only thing I didn’t love was the double beds — I didn’t find them to be comfy (others reported the queen bed was comfy) but considering all of the perks of the location and condition I was and would again be willing to overlook that :)

I liked that the shampoo and conditioner provided which were gluten-free and the sliding glass doors on the shower! Grateful not to have a tub. The bathroom towels felt abrasive, not soft. Air conditioner unit was noisy, especially when it would automatically turn on/off, but it did supply cold air.

We LOOOOVED Ocean Manor. Was in a great location off the boardwalk, and our private balcony had a great view of the ocean. The hotel is small with a ton of charm and we will absolutely be staying again.

When we checked in everyone was so nice. They found out it was our 30th anniversary and upgraded us. The room was lovely the walk to the beach was short. Everything worked out great.

Loved the close location to boardwalk and beach. Room had not been cleaned even though we were able to check in and enter the room. Owner of property did respond quickly and cleaned the room once they were made aware. There were many questionable areas in our room. There was a large nail sticking through wall above the mini fridge. A/C outside above the outdoor seating was very rusty and dripping constant fluid near our front door. Interior A/C was obnoxiously loud. Television had lines through the screen. Thankfully we did not spend much time in the room. My kids did love the pool that was very clean.

One of our favorites spots to stay... always clean, up to date and an awesome location. Staff is kind and easy to coordinate with. Highly recommended

The lady at the desk the day we checked-in had a bit of an attitude. Other then that, me and my cousin had a good time there. I think besides some over stuffed pillows, you should have some that have less stuffing and more geared towards the comfort of sleeping. I also suggest putting some extra pillows up on the top shelf of the closet. We really did not have enough pillows. Your maid service was excellent. Your pool and the area surrounding it was excellent also. Other then that, you have a very clean and eco-friendly establishment.

Not so good. The office was closed for the winter and check in had to be done by phone. The room I thought I was getting was unavailable because building was closed. Never told this. The room I received was in the next building and was very small and cramped. The bathroom could hardly fit me and a toothbrush. I have been returning to this hotel for many years, but I will never return again.

The staff was very pleasant but there is major glitch in the system between expedia and the Ocean Manor. Expedia books rooms the Manor does not have. I booked a balcony only to call and find out that had not been available. The staff explained expedia does this all the time. They tried to accommodate but the room was rather small for 5 people and we had no thermostat. It was incredibly hot. The location is great but I don’t think I would ever spend close to $300 a night again to stay there.

Terrible experience. Me and my fiancee wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone, no front desk, no staff, owner is super rude and not welcoming to her guests. We booked online and when we got there she just messaged us the room info, when we opened the room door it wasn’t at all close to what we booked. Then when we called her multiple times she finally picked up the phone and wasn’t apologetic at all just told us that the room we reserved was “closed for off season” which why would that be available to book online then?? We just had genuine confusion and came from hours away, then she told us we only had one choice and she could show us an upgraded room. The “upgraded” room we looked on her site cost 20$ less than what we paid. It wasn’t upgraded, it was freezing, ice air blowing out of the vents, no employees to ask questions about or concerns about our terrible arrival and the owner seems very condescending. She seemed bothered by us that we had to contact her even though there was no one else available. We had to go warm up in are car to wait for her response and we finally gave up and left. She then texted us as we were leaving that they kicked the heat on for us… so friendly and welcoming to guests and travelers! Felt so cozy and at home.. yeah.

It was fantastic. The staff was super friendly. When I got there she took the time to even show me where our room and parking spot were because it was late and dark out. The place was super clean and comfortable. Literally when we left we inquired about staying again because of how much we enjoyed it. The location is perfect. It doesn’t get better. Just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk.

Location was good and the rooms were clean. The remote check in was clunky, TV didn't work and the heat was set very high and wouldn't cool down. Overall, a good stay for the night near the beach but service was just ok.

I traveled to Ocean City in January for a family event. We arrived at 3:05 expecting to check in. What we found was that there was no one in the office and we had to call for the entrance code. Seems easy enough. Called the first number. Voice mail. Mailbox full. Called second number. Voice mail. Mailbox full. Tried to text. The second number went through as a text. Waited for 15 minutes for a response. No response. Called numbers again. Someone answered at 3:18 to give us the information to get into the room. Eventually everything worked out, but it was time consuming and a nerve-racking way to start our time with our family.

First time staying here and i was very impressed. Staff was extremely welcoming and our room was clean and exactly what we needed. Located one block from the boardwalk made it a nice, no car needed week away. Highly recommend, we will be coming back next year!

We LOOOOVED Ocean Manor. Was in a great location off the boardwalk, and our private balcony had a great view of the ocean. The hotel is small with a ton of charm and we will absolutely be staying again.

The manor is in a great location for walking to the boardwalk and to the downtown area for shopping. The heated swim pool and hot tub was fantastic for this late Sept vacation. The room was clean and the patio area was nice to sit on in the evenings. Great place to stay. Looking forward to staying again.

First time going to Ocean City NJ. I got lucky and picked Ocean Manor Inn. The place is very clean. Close to the boardwalk. The pool area makes you feel like you are in a movie setting. It has statues, pool house thingy and the pool is heated with a jacuzzi on one side. I will be going again and again. Staff is excellent. Not one bad thing to say. Kudos to you Ocean Manor. I am somewhat hard to please when it comes to staying at places.

Incredible location! A short block to the beach or (opposite direction) to the shops. We stayed in the apartment and enjoyed how spacious it was for 6 people. Two dedicated parking spots at no extra cost. Modern and clean. Full kitchen with plates, pots and pans, etc. View of the ocean and outdoor table and chairs! The only thing I didn’t love was the double beds — I didn’t find them to be comfy (others reported the queen bed was comfy) but considering all of the perks of the location and condition I was and would again be willing to overlook that :)

Comfortable and relaxing stay. Could use stairs to easily get up and down to second floor. Loved the balcony and two separate spaces in a smaller room made it feel like an apt and not just a room. A tad dated and no coffee available was only downsides. Great location. I’d go back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a nice kitchenette. The shower was really small and the door wouldn't close all the way. The elevator was down (we were notified in advance), which wss a slight inconvenience. Overall, it was a nice place in a great location. I would stay there again.

For a historic manor this is well maintained with its quaint appeal intact! The lobby has a freshly made iced drink daily (iced herbal tea, refreshing). Serene sitting area near to check-in desk. Beautiful bathroom, comfy bed. Friendly staff. Lots of charm. Parking space is a little tight but included! I would stay here again.

I booked the suite. The only thing missing was a coffee maker. A nice cup of coffee and sit on deck was in my mind but no coffee at this establishment. Not even in the lobby. Ice machine one machine for entire property that was half broken. A bit noisy because close to boardwalk. Kids climbing firescape and hangout on it. That should be blocked for safety reasons. Other than that great place.

This place is so clean, safe, and beautiful. We had a upper level room with a balcony. I could see the ocean from, and boardwalk. We loved eating out on the balcony. We did take a small plug in burner knowing there is no stovetop. We also used a common area that has a very clean microwave, toaster, many tables. It’s decorated beautifully. The whole place feels like a B&B. There is free coffee and tea in the morning on the bottom level. We loved the pool, and hot tub. We wake up early, but it is very bright in the room. No black out curtains in the morning. Some people may not like that. It didn’t bother us.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and attended to daily. The location cannot be beat, A one block walk to the beach and boardwalk. An added bonus was a secluded pool on the property. We will be returning next season.

Very good stay. Close to the beach and boardwalk. Staff was friendly and responsive. Balcony was a plus. Only issue was coffee, while very good, was only available in the lobby. First time in Ocean City NJ and really liked the family friendly atmosphere and we're seniors. Farmers market was good too. We will be back next year.

It's a shame, the place seemed so nice, quaint and historical in the pictures. When we got there our reservation with 2 double beds (very nice looking in the pics) was not available, so they put us in a small room with 1 double bed and 1 pull-out sofa. The sofa had a cover on it, the cover and the sofa were so gross and dirty; then pulled out the sofa bed - which is not even fit for a dog to sleep on. The head and foot of the bed sank in and back so much that you felt like you were sleeping upside down (per my poor daughter who was the one who had to endure it). It smelled a bit moldy in the room as well. There is a 'common area' with a refrigerator - which doesn't seem to work and is moldy as well. :( The place has SO much potential with some upgrades. The staff was nice and we loved the show of faith throughout the building.

Overall a good stay. While we were checking in the front desk staff was extremely rude to the people in front of us. And the guests weren’t even being rude but even if they were the woman was insistent that she was right and that’s just not how it should work in hospitality.
