Hotel mit toller Aussicht. Rezeption wollte nicht auf Zimmerwunsch eingehen, obwohl es noch viele freie Zimmer hatte. Zimmer noch so, wie es seinerzeit gebaut wurde.

The location is the best! All the pools were clean and amazing. We ate at the restaurant across the street and had a great seafood meal. The staff was always cleaning and very helpful.

The upkeep seems to be fading, rugs on landings are weathered bad , dirt build up and non vacuuming of landings also very noticeable, exterior grey siding needs painting , specials for restaurant were told to us ( party of 6 ) by other tourists who received dinner and stay special shortly after check in was refused to us , so our party of 6 went elsewhere, loss of income of about $ stay 9/8/26 - 9/11/ 26 guest 9/10/ to 9/14/ 26 x’s 4 people noticed the same. Sad to see results

The Anchorage Inn has a great location across the street from York Beach. That’s it for positives in my review. The room was small and desperately needs updating; the tub caulking was cracked and a floor tile broken. The shower curtain was cheap! The sink outside the bathroom leaked onto the small counter area around the sink. The carpet is old and needs cleaning. The AC/heater unit is old and noisy!
