Great place to stay, the staff were all very kind and helpful. The food was excellent and was served fairly quickly. Good choice of drinks at the bar. The room was a little bit tired and it could be a bit noisy outside occasionally but bear in mind that the property is located on the highstreet. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay! Location was fabulous and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. We got there early and they let us check in with no problem or extra cost.

Disappointed to be told on arrival that there's no breakfast due to staff sickness. Also confusion due to two separate invoices from Hotel.com. Great location on the main street and great to be able to park for free. If the pub car park is full of recommend St John's car park, much cheaper than the abbey cat park opposite. Family room was spacious and pleasant. The room is above the bar so the music noise was noticeable but the manager kindly turned it down when asked. If it was a busy night I think the pub noise might be an issue.
