We parked easily and could keep the space all the next day too. I left a dress in the wardrobe and the staff put a note on my car so I was able to collect it. The dinner and breakfast were great and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely comfortable beds. Absolutely nothing to dislike at all.

We had a great stay at The White Lion. Rooms were spotless and all the staff were fantastic. Great food here from breakfast to dinner, and a lovely comfortable bar area to relax in afterwards. Towards the top of the hill in Haworth, but well worth the climb.

We were greeted by Vicky and the reception desk and she was amazing, really helpful and as the day we were going it was very windy so we set off early. So we arrived early and Vicky let us check in early which was great. We booked for 3 nights with bed and breakfast, the breakfast was really good, and brilliant service too from the staff. The pub itself was like a tardis and well worth a look around. We didnt have chance to have any other meals in the pub but would recommend as we saw big portions of food coming out and looked amazing. Would recommend the stay at this lovely pub and also has a small carpark.

Small but comfortable twin room, clean, nice view of hills. Very good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Nothing to complain about, except residents' lounge full up.

The Old White Lion Hotel is a classic Ye Olde English stay. The pub itself is the oldest in Haworth. The rooms, are beautifully presented, cosy but updated. Staff are very helpful to your needs.There are stairs, so if you are not that mobile it might not be the best place. Pub at the bottom, serves food and lovely breakfast in the morning. It sits at the top of the hill, a 2 min walk from the Bronte museum, church. They give you a parking voucher and the big parking lot is close by. The town itself feels like a fairytale, with its cobblestones, old graveyard (worth a walk around) and specialty shops full of wonder. Whether you are a Bronte enthusiast or just want to marvel in past times, a stay in the Old White Lion Hotel is a must!

The Old White Lion is set in a historic building in central Howarth. It is full of old world charm and character. It does have its own parking spaces in an adjacent street but be careful not to park so that you will get boxed in by other guests. Our only disappointment was the mattress. It advertised as a double but in reality it was a small double. We are an average sized couple and lying side by side we were both at the mattress edges. Therefore, we barely slept. The evening meal in the restaurant was good and morning breakfast buffet was also very good with a cooked breakfast option. To finish on a high, the staff were welcoming, friendly and most helpful. They deserve a lot of credit.

Very pleasant overnight stay in this lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and well resourced with plenty of tea and coffee, beautiful towels and products. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The hotel was in an excellent location in the heart of the village and parking was on site. Highly recommend.

Overall the experience was enjoyable, what I really didn't like was the state of the carpet, it looked really dirty so it detracted from the positives. Whilst the bathroom was well presented the shower had very poor pressure.

We had a great stay at The White Lion. Rooms were spotless and all the staff were fantastic. Great food here from breakfast to dinner, and a lovely comfortable bar area to relax in afterwards. Towards the top of the hill in Haworth, but well worth the climb.

Great location and the staff were fantastic, especially Lucy. The room was exceptionally clean with lots of amenities but the mattress wasn’t that comfortable. Would stay again on a different bed. Good value for the area and great breakfast.

The old white lion was a comfortable stay but did have creaking floorboards and thin walls ! However the staff were absolutely great Peggy on reception is very professional. Evening meals were excellent and good value. Bar staff Joe and Max were excellent. Breakfast also was good with a reasonable selection. All in all a great stay with close proximity to Main Street and convenient parking at the hotel. Not forgetting Lucy and Vicky who also were very helpful.

The location of the property is very ideal and good. It is a short hop to the Bronte parsonage and Saint Michaels church. There are quite a number of quaint little shops, taverns and coffee and Tea houses nearby. The upkeep of the inn is poor. The carpets are old and musty . The food was not properly cooked. The breakfast milk was spoilt and sour and I ended up with an upset stomach after eating their lunch and dinner. The housekeeping standards are not upto the mark. When we pointed to the staff about the lack of housekeeping, the staff member Lucy was kind enough to clean up the room and give us bottles of apple juice and savouries as a token of appreciation. That was a nice gesture from their side.

Right in the heart of Hawarth. Great walks available from door of hotel but also well situated for shops and restaurants. Great breakfast. Stag very friendly. Room comfy and clean.

The Old White Lion was a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful; the restaurant has a vegan burger on the menu, which made things easy for me; and the view out my bedroom window onto the moors was very cool. The Inn is steps away from the Brontë Parsonage, as well as the public footpath that leads onto the moors. The Main Street of Haworth is lovely, but the walk to the Brontë waterfall is a memory for life. I did it early—wanting to see the sunrise on the moors—and it was otherworldly. The beginning of the path is a two minute walk from the Inn. I loved it here.

Stayed here quite a few times. Nice friendly hotel just one gripe which I should have mentioned on leaving. The bed in room 15 mattress that is , is absolutely shot. Iam sure you will agree. Nothing else will stay again if they will have us. Only constructive criticism hope you not take it as just another moaning old codger many thanks,Brian

Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment.

We didnt have chance to have any other meals in the pub but would recommend as we saw big portions of food coming out and looked amazing. Would recommend the stay at this lovely pub and also has a small carpark.
We were greeted by Vicky and the reception desk and she was amazing, really helpful and as the day we were going it was very windy so we set off early. So we arrived early and Vicky let us check in early which was great. We booked for 3 nights with bed and breakfast, the breakfast was really good, and brilliant service too from the staff. The pub itself was like a tardis and well worth a look around. The old white lion was a comfortable stay but did have creaking floorboards and thin walls ! However the staff were absolutely great Peggy on reception is very professional. Evening meals were excellent and good value. Bar staff Joe and Max were excellent. Breakfast also was good with a reasonable selection. All in all a great stay with close proximity to Main Street and convenient parking at the hotel. Not forgetting Lucy and Vicky who also were very helpful.

We had a great stay at The White Lion. Rooms were spotless and all the staff were fantastic. Great food here from breakfast to dinner, and a lovely comfortable bar area to relax in afterwards. Towards the top of the hill in Haworth, but well worth the climb.

The Old White Lion was a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful; the restaurant has a vegan burger on the menu, which made things easy for me; and the view out my bedroom window onto the moors was very cool. The Inn is steps away from the Brontë Parsonage, as well as the public footpath that leads onto the moors. The Main Street of Haworth is lovely, but the walk to the Brontë waterfall is a memory for life. I did it early—wanting to see the sunrise on the moors—and it was otherworldly. The beginning of the path is a two minute walk from the Inn. I loved it here.

Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment.

Lovely hotel at the top of Main Street. The parsonage is just around the corner. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant food was excellent and large portions. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location of the property is very ideal and good. It is a short hop to the Bronte parsonage and Saint Michaels church. There are quite a number of quaint little shops, taverns and coffee and Tea houses nearby. The upkeep of the inn is poor. The carpets are old and musty . The food was not properly cooked. The breakfast milk was spoilt and sour and I ended up with an upset stomach after eating their lunch and dinner. The housekeeping standards are not upto the mark. When we pointed to the staff about the lack of housekeeping, the staff member Lucy was kind enough to clean up the room and give us bottles of apple juice and savouries as a token of appreciation. That was a nice gesture from their side.

Was happily surprised by a bath! So cute and fun, right next to everything I wanted to go to. Didn’t act weird because I was American which was nice. Only wish the pub-goers in the evening weren’t so loud outside my window, but there’s nothing the hotel can do about that unfortunately.
