Great hotel and all new with great views over the Taj Mahal on the roof terrace which has swinging chairs sofa and very comfortable. Room are excellent and I would highly recommend. Staff give you space but if you ask for help they can’t do enough to assist you. Great trip.

Lovely family with a clean, quaint hotel. It was a very cozy stay with air-conditioning, a cute atmosphere, and delicious dinner and breakfast options. They also have a laundry service & booked our Taj Mahal tickets at the reception, which made our lives easier. Super close to the East gate entrance. They also have an awesome view of the Taj from the rooftop. It has a hostel type vibe which we really loved. Met some cool people and would highly recommend this place. One thing to note, our room did not have a window with natural light. So, if that's something you would want, just ask.

Very welcoming brother and sister team! Good location for TM, 500 m away. Pleasant roof patio with self-service drinks available. Old-fashioned but well looked after hotel.

Highly recommend this place, we are so pleased we came across it. Welcomed from the moment we arrived by the whole family, very helpful. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Air Con was good and great facilities provided - tea, coffee, water, dental kit, shampoo, shower gel and slippers. We arrived late but they were very accommodating and cooked a beautiful homemade meal. We also enjoyed a lovely homemade breakfast, all very reasonably priced. Rooftop Terrace is a great addition. We would definitely stay again and recommend to those looking at coming to Agra. Thank you!

This hotel was amazing! It is family run, and everyone was super nice and helpful. Front desk helped me book a train from Agra to Jaipur, and gave me awesome nearby restaurant recommendations (I HIGHLY suggest Bon BBQ and Pinch of Spice). The hotel itself is incredible, super cool and swanky and the details like different colored lighting and outside patios on every floor makes the ambiance of this place super fun. Plus this hotel was priced more reasonably than anything comparable in the area. Location is great as well. There's a view of the taj mahal from the rooftop deck and its a quick tuk tuk ride to all the major sites in the area. Its a no brainer to stay here during your time in Agra. Best hotel in town.

Hotel was amazing. Rooms beautiful and very clean. Late in so didn't get dinner but the breakfast was fantastic in the morning. Rooftop area was lovely for a drink. Staff all very friendly. Well positioned to visit Taj Mahal.

Great right from booking. Organised a pick up from Delhi which worked perfectly. Allowed early check in. Everyone helpful and friendly. Easy access to the Taj. Highly recommend

Beautiful renovated home was a basically a boutique hotel . I liked the smoking areas . You can buy wine and beer too .Tour of Taj Mahal was arranged with Mohammed an excellent knowledgeable guide and Driver Bablu . Offered tour of carpet store and marble factory( which was educational ) in hopes to get a sale . The front desk and owner ,Aman , was awesome and he is very responsive , he arranges the tours and transport .His mom Ranjanna is an excellent cook . There is privacy and strong hot showers and secure wifi. Aman will send a driver to the airport run by military and secure to pick you up which is outside the base gate . Just give him a call on WhatsApp or other and send your itinerary. (Have 50 rupees for the shuttle because no cars allowed inside the base to the airport so you take the shuttle to go out and meet your ride on the road ) This little hotel is a gem . I would stay again for sure. The place is family run and owned . They obviously take pride in their service .

This was an amazing stay within a 5-minute walking distance to the eastern gate of the Taj MaHal. The hotel is family run and we received a warm family type welcome! The meals here are home cooked and delicious! You can get your laundry done for an extremely reasonable price. The room we stayed in was spacious and there’s a nice roof top lounge. Tuk tuks and cars are available for tours. Aman was extremely helpful and informative in checking us in and even helped us purchase our tickets to the top sites! Wow! This hotel was a gem!

The Aman Homestay was the perfect hotel in Agra. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff and delicious food. It’s also in a great location - just tucked away from the noise of the city. Would recommend it to anyone!

Aman and his family are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed an amazing meal cooked by his mum. I would very much recommend this as a place to stay.

Within walking distance of Taj Mahal, and visible from the rooftop on a clear day (rare in winter). Perhaps due to construction work in the house, the room was dusty. The beds were comfortable, the the area was relatively quiet, which was great. There were several decent eating places nearby too.

We loved our two nights here. Our room was a great size, really clean and bed was comfortable. Communication excellent and our tour guide for the Taj Mahal was incredible - Mohammad - we loved him! Excellent English, super knowledgeable and he took amazing photos for us. We had breakfast and that was great as well.

Cons: -The hotel was designed in a way that you could hear echoes in your room anytime someone on any floor opened the door to their room or went into the hallway. It was also near a wedding venue, so we were woken up each night by the sound of wedding fireworks (of course, this is less in the hotel's control than the design of the hallways). -Multiple times we came back to the hotel and the main door was open without anyone monitoring the door or front desk. This was both a safety concern and meant that mosquitoes got in the front door and made it into our rooms. - The bathrooms smelled like sewage and had limescale on the shower head and faucet. -I tried reaching out to the hotel ahead of my stay with a simple question by WhatsApp and online, and never heard back. Pros: -Walking distance to the Taj Mahal -The beds were pretty comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Aman Homestay. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean. The family is very kind. They helped us purchase our tickets for the Taj Mahal which was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Agra. A beautiful boutique hotel.

Not so good. The family obviously care about their guests and the service was very friendly. However the rooms are small, the bathroom is layed out in a way that prevents a person sitting on the toilet. The place is clean enough, beds were comfortable and its walking distance to the Taj Mahal. Fine for one night.

Pros: My room was clean and equipped with all the things I needed. There were 4 of us and the bed arrangement was perfect. There were 1 king and 2 twins and they were comfortable. Check-in was fast, staff was friendly and Wifi was working well through out the property. You can also see Taj Mahal from the roof top. We had breakfast there and it was great. Cons: adjusting the shower temperature was difficult as it goes from cold to super hot with slight turn. There was no breakfast buffet. We had to order from the menu with limited choice.

Super friendly staff. Great home-cooked food. Room was small but comfortable. Shower was nice, but hot water ran out after 5 mins and the towel was sand paper. Rooftop terraces were great. I would definitely stay here again, especially over most other places in India.

We really liked this hotel. very good sized rooms and bathroom that is well decorated as well as lovely patio common areas to enjoy. highly recommend.

We are quite a picky family when it comes to expecting great service, clean hotels, nice beds, and well decorated rooms that are not worn out or smelly, etc. Aman Homestay exceeded our expectations for India and left us extremely pleased in every way. This place was very clean, very unique, and very close to the Taj entrance. The surrounding area is not beautiful- in fact when we arrived outside we were quite worried we might regret our choice. But when we walked into the lobby, things got better. The staff was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in. When we entered the elevators was the next point we were impressed by the beautiful, unique, high quality glass elevators. As we arrived to the third floor, we were further surprised by the continued unique architecture of the building and pleased with its cleanliness everywhere. The place was covered with marble from floor to ceiling except where there were walls of glass to see outside from the dining area or even ceilings of glass above the dining area. As we entered our room a few steps away, again we were very impressed with very high level of cleanliness, electic unique decor and lighting all made it even more comfortable and Interesting again with granite and marble all around. As a family of four it was great to see three nice beds - one for mom and dad, and then one for each of two children. The a/c worked well. The bathroom was very nice especially for India.

The meals here are home cooked and delicious! You can get your laundry done for an extremely reasonable price. The room we stayed in was spacious and there’s a nice roof top lounge. Tuk tuks and cars are available for tours. Aman was extremely helpful and informative in checking us in and even helped us purchase our tickets to the top sites! Wow! This hotel was a gem!

This was the best hotel I stayed at in my 19 days in India. The rooms are updated, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom and showers were a relief to a tired body. But it was the service and friendliness that really stood out. Mamas cooking and family stove dinners were a joy and something I look forward to. Iman helped us out with booking train tickets back to Delhi at the last minute when our group plans changed. Help arrange a tour of the Taj Mahal, which was wonderful, And was available for any thing we needed. Great location for Taj Mahal visit, which is within walking distance.

First I will comment on the excellent communication! I arranged for an airport pickup! They sent me the name of the driver and his picture! They also connected us by What’s App! Lakhan was waiting for me at the airport! Dropped my friend off and drove me to Aman Homestay! I was greeted by a kind staff member who took me right to my beautiful room! The shower had great warm water pressure and the bed was a king size perfect bed! Lakhan arranged for me to have a private English speaking guide, Mohammad! He was amazing guide, picture taker, and excellent information! I ate a delicious breakfast at Aman Hime stay! Lakhan drove me directly back to Delhi and delivered me to my airport hotel top notch service! You will be so delighted with your stay! Thank You Aman Homestay, Lakhan, and Mohammad! Great place!

We've traveled all over India for months, and I don't think there's a better place to stay in the whole country than with Aman and his family here. Fairly priced, nobody trying to scheme extra from you, very comfortable, with great people and great guests. Assuming you're in Agra for the Taj, ask for Mohammed the Taj Guide, and Babloo the auto driver - they made our trip a thousand times richer than it would have been alone!

We loved our two nights here. Our room was a great size, really clean and bed was comfortable. Communication excellent and our tour guide for the Taj Mahal was incredible - Mohammad - we loved him! Excellent English, super knowledgeable and he took amazing photos for us. We had breakfast and that was great as well.

This hotel was amazing! It is family run, and everyone was super nice and helpful. Front desk helped me book a train from Agra to Jaipur, and gave me awesome nearby restaurant recommendations (I HIGHLY suggest Bon BBQ and Pinch of Spice). The hotel itself is incredible, super cool and swanky and the details like different colored lighting and outside patios on every floor makes the ambiance of this place super fun. Plus this hotel was priced more reasonably than anything comparable in the area. Location is great as well. There's a view of the taj mahal from the rooftop deck and its a quick tuk tuk ride to all the major sites in the area. Its a no brainer to stay here during your time in Agra. Best hotel in town.

Cons: -The hotel was designed in a way that you could hear echoes in your room anytime someone on any floor opened the door to their room or went into the hallway. It was also near a wedding venue, so we were woken up each night by the sound of wedding fireworks (of course, this is less in the hotel's control than the design of the hallways). -Multiple times we came back to the hotel and the main door was open without anyone monitoring the door or front desk. This was both a safety concern and meant that mosquitoes got in the front door and made it into our rooms. - The bathrooms smelled like sewage and had limescale on the shower head and faucet. -I tried reaching out to the hotel ahead of my stay with a simple question by WhatsApp and online, and never heard back. Beautiful renovated home was a basically a boutique hotel . I liked the smoking areas . You can buy wine and beer too .Tour of Taj Mahal was arranged with Mohammed an excellent knowledgeable guide and Driver Bablu . Offered tour of carpet store and marble factory( which was educational ) in hopes to get a sale . The front desk and owner ,Aman , was awesome and he is very responsive , he arranges the tours and transport .His mom Ranjanna is an excellent cook . There is privacy and strong hot showers and secure wifi. Aman will send a driver to the airport run by military and secure to pick you up which is outside the base gate . Just give him a call on WhatsApp or other and send your itinerary. (Have 50 rupees for the shuttle because no cars allowed inside the base to the airport so you take the shuttle to go out and meet your ride on the road ) This little hotel is a gem . I would stay again for sure. The place is family run and owned . They obviously take pride in their service .

Great place. Our hosts were very accommodating to our needs. It's a pretty convenient spot with lots of food around, as well as a working ATM (for foreign cards) just a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommend!

Aman homestay was a lovely place in the middle of Agra. It was conveniently located. The family that runs the place is really lovely. Just full of energy and delight. The rooms are really nice and very comfortable. We also liked our tuk tuk driver Viban who picked us up every day at the hotel I took us to all kinds of interesting places. I would recommend staying there and if I was ever to return to Agra, I would stay there again. I truly felt comfortable and a warm reception.

Great location for Taj Mahal - about a 15 minute walk (or 5 minutes to electric shuttle buggies at Eastern Gate parking). Friendly personal service at this small family-run “home stay” (think of it as a boutique hotel). Very comfortable mid-range place to stay, with expected amenities. Superb value.

Had a pleasant stay here. We were two friends traveling together for one night, and we got a nice and clean room with two beds. The family was kind and service-oriented. Only a five minute walk to a parking lot with free transportation to the Taj Mahal. We got great value for our money - and would absolutely recommend to stay at Aman Homestay!

Hotel was amazing. Rooms beautiful and very clean. Late in so didn't get dinner but the breakfast was fantastic in the morning. Rooftop area was lovely for a drink. Staff all very friendly. Well positioned to visit Taj Mahal.

Pros: My room was clean and equipped with all the things I needed. There were 4 of us and the bed arrangement was perfect. There were 1 king and 2 twins and they were comfortable. Check-in was fast, staff was friendly and Wifi was working well through out the property. You can also see Taj Mahal from the roof top. We had breakfast there and it was great. Cons: adjusting the shower temperature was difficult as it goes from cold to super hot with slight turn. There was no breakfast buffet. We had to order from the menu with limited choice.

Beautiful family run hotel.Since this was our first time to India, we were hesitant about where to go for money exchange and bottled water. Aman homestay made everything easy for us. I especially liked the family style dinner where we got to meet other travelers

Everything about this hotel was amazing! The family, the staff, the property amenities with the rooftop patio. We had an amazing home cooked communal dinner with fellow guests from around the world. The hotel helped organize a tour for us which was 5 star as well. We only wish we could has stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Aman Homestay. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and we had some fun conversations over dinner with other guests! We enjoyed our room, the location, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly!

Every review mentioned the breakfast however this must be related to the family breakfast at 7:30 am. We had breakfast at 9am, ordered of the menu, my wife’s 2 eggs sunny side up had one yolk missing and my omelet was more of an egg pancake. Our coffees never made it to the table as the staff was unable to operate the espresso machine. We had a power outage several times during the night so every time the power come back on we got woken up. I am sure I can’t fault the hotel for that. We were greeted very nice and the room was really nice. We were able to see the Taj Mahal from the rooftop , overall a very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous choice we made in Agra. Run by a lovely family. Food was excellent and rum was immaculate. Only 2 minute walk to the cart further Taj Mahal

Hotel was clean, food selection was limited. Room was nice. Staff very helpful and friendly throughout. We had issues with our flight being cancelled and had to stay another night. Very understanding and helpful during this very stressful time. Really very thankful to the staff. If you are planning to go to the Taj Mahal this is the perfect hotel for you. Very close. You can even see it from the roof.
