Well situated for touring around the IOM by car, competitive prices and plenty of secure parking immediately outside the hotel. Food, including breakfast was average and there appeared to be a shortage of staff in busy periods. Despite this criticism I would be happy to stay there again.

Very unwelcoming staff, room was in need of an update. Had an ussue with the lights not working, on reporting was told no maintenance staff available till Monday! However, got moved to another room, which was much nicer and looked like it was a lot newer. Didn't find the staff either approachable or friendly, on checking the menu as it was quite basic and boring we went out. On our return we decided to sit in the bar area and have a drink. The waitress said she would bring then over, but even though there was only 1 other person in the room she forgot to bring my husbands drink over. Shortly after an eldery couple came in and as it was rather draughty tried to shut the automatic doors. I went over to help and then we got told quite abruptly that the outside doors needed to stay open. It was cold uncomfortable and had no atmosphere so we went up to our room. The following morning we went down to breakfast which was okay. Then on checking out I was told the manager wanted a word. She said she had been informed of an incident with the doors the night before and wanted to let me know in no uncertain terms, that as a result of my shutting the doors which had just been repaired, I may be sent an invoice to have them repaired again. This was booked as a birthday treat for my husband and I feel that we treated like intruders. I would neither recommend or stay in this hotel again. Most disappointing 😞

It was between the sea on one side and a beautiful park on the other. Very quiet. Easy access to everything you need including a swimming baths that we had free access to. Plenty of places to eat. Shops within walking distance. Hotel beautiful, staff pleasant and helpful. Everything you need is provided.

Overall very good value for money, bedrooms / eu-suite & facilities clean & functional (sadly GBNews & talk radio (on TV) as with many hotels are restricted to guests) large free parking on site, free entrance to swiming pool with voucher from hotel, next to large park with many amenities incl boating lake etc, beach, town centre & port.

Great location, easy walk into Ramsey. Plenty of parking. Room was excellent, very clean, excellent facilities, very quiet. Couldn’t fault it . Breakfast was great , good choice for cooked breakfast and cereals etc. Restaurant and bar great and prices similair to a pub.

The stay was ok, bit let down with the breakfast, was also let down with the parking as we had to park down on the road as it was said there was parking. Seems like wedding guests were priority to the hotel guests which wasn’t fair .

Great service! We have door card issues in 205. We think it is the mechanism on the door. The hotel is a 10 minute walk into town. Great dinner options in town: Vellika Indian restaurant and The Square (great seafood). Amazing sunrises at 4am too. Free and easy parking. Breakfast is included and it is OK.

Disappointing considering the cost and expectation. 1. A facial tissue box in the room was empty when I arrived and never replenished over 5 days. 2. A used sandwich plate was left for 4 days, never cleared. 3. Bedroom wastebin emptied but left in two parts with no liner for 4 days. 4. Bathroom needs a thorough clean there are areas full of dust. 5. I was entertaining visitors on Sunday evening, at around 9pm a very sullen man began barking orders to his staff who he set to cleaning around us, very uncomfortable, then at 9.10 the bar shutters were lowered and all staff disappeared, no more service, disgraceful. A coach party had arrived and at least 30 guests came in looking for drinks, bar was closed, huge loss of revenue. 6 As individual paying guests expecting a reasonable breakfast buffet, we found we were lumped in with the coach party sharing their fare, not on when paying normal hotel rates. 7 the bedroom was not vacuumed once.

Not happy about a few things of this short stay staff seam not experienced enough to look after customers had one evening meal very poor both of us hardly had any of the meal staff asked if the meal was ok we replied no staff comment was i will inform the chef that was the last we heard not good enough for a £40 meal also room not cleaned all of our stay no clean towels all of our stay even after we left hotel card on the door for room to be cleaned overall not a very good stay .

Lovely hotel, couldn’t fault it. The location is perfect, next to the sea front but also next to a brilliant park with a boating lake and in easy walking distance for local amenities . The rooms are modern and very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable . Breakfast was included in the price of our stay and again I couldn’t fault it fresh and plenty of it and will also go the extra mile and cook fresh porridge and Manx kippers on request . I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Stayed 3 nights. Really enjoyed it. The hotel was spotless, staff were excellent! Room quiet with a good view over the adjacent park/lake Loads of parking. Area very quiet at night. Right on the seafront. Breakfast was ok. Not great - buffet was luke warm and the quality of the hot food was poor imo. But I want to thank Ben on reception when we checked out for the help and compassion he showed in regards to another room I had booked - friends couldn’t fulfil due to a very sudden bereavement

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Housekeeping arrived rather late (4.30pm) on one day, just as we were arriving back from an excursion, which wasn't ideal. Cooked to order breakfast mentioned in the hotel info pages was not available. Buffet breakfast was ok other than cold plates. Evening food was good with some daily specials. Enjoyed our stay & would return.

Warm welcome, easy to find. Very clean and with great facilities. Room easily accessible by lifts and stairs. The staff were very pleasant and hard working. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely property, however in the hot weather, whilst public areas are air conditioned, there are limited options for cooling bedrooms.

Breakfast was adequate. Fairly decent choice of food. Poached eggs strongly tasted of vinegar. Scrambled egg was undercooked. Windows in bedroom were draughty. It was particularly windy, but you shouldn’t be able to feel the draught

The main problem for us was the room. It was very warm and only being able to open the windows a limited amount we ended up sleeping on top of the duvets, not ideal ! The room was clean enough and we had a nice sea view but it was on the small side.

Very unwelcoming staff, room was in need of an update. Had an ussue with the lights not working, on reporting was told no maintenance staff available till Monday! However, got moved to another room, which was much nicer and looked like it was a lot newer. Didn't find the staff either approachable or friendly, on checking the menu as it was quite basic and boring we went out. On our return we decided to sit in the bar area and have a drink. The waitress said she would bring then over, but even though there was only 1 other person in the room she forgot to bring my husbands drink over. Shortly after an eldery couple came in and as it was rather draughty tried to shut the automatic doors. I went over to help and then we got told quite abruptly that the outside doors needed to stay open. It was cold uncomfortable and had no atmosphere so we went up to our room. The following morning we went down to breakfast which was okay. Then on checking out I was told the manager wanted a word. She said she had been informed of an incident with the doors the night before and wanted to let me know in no uncertain terms, that as a result of my shutting the doors which had just been repaired, I may be sent an invoice to have them repaired again. This was booked as a birthday treat for my husband and I feel that we treated like intruders. I would neither recommend or stay in this hotel again. Most disappointing 😞

Arrived at Hotel at 12.50pm and asked if room was ready by any chance, it was! However they wanted £10 per hour so £20 extra for an early check in! The room only cost £60 in first place so was disappointed in that service.

Not happy about a few things of this short stay staff seam not experienced enough to look after customers had one evening meal very poor both of us hardly had any of the meal staff asked if the meal was ok we replied no staff comment was i will inform the chef that was the last we heard not good enough for a £40 meal also room not cleaned all of our stay no clean towels all of our stay even after we left hotel card on the door for room to be cleaned overall not a very good stay .

Staying for work. Lovely hotel very comfortable. Staff super friendly and helpful…credit to the hotel. Thank you. I’ll be back. Minor issue of taking payment twice, but think this was slight confusion over hotels.com methods of payment. Called and was rectified immediately.

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Housekeeping arrived rather late (4.30pm) on one day, just as we were arriving back from an excursion, which wasn't ideal. Cooked to order breakfast mentioned in the hotel info pages was not available. Buffet breakfast was ok other than cold plates. Evening food was good with some daily specials. Enjoyed our stay & would return.

Relaxing location with Ramsey prom adjacent. Comfortable stay. Staff were helpful when approached though could be a little more attentive. Food was generally good with decent choice at breakfast.

It was between the sea on one side and a beautiful park on the other. Very quiet. Easy access to everything you need including a swimming baths that we had free access to. Plenty of places to eat. Shops within walking distance. Hotel beautiful, staff pleasant and helpful. Everything you need is provided.

Great location, easy walk into Ramsey. Plenty of parking. Room was excellent, very clean, excellent facilities, very quiet. Couldn’t fault it . Breakfast was great , good choice for cooked breakfast and cereals etc. Restaurant and bar great and prices similair to a pub.

The property is ideally situated in the North of the Island. Plenty of parking or easy access to buses and electric tram. Two minute walk to the sea. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice on the menu for our stay and all the meals we had were lovely.

Lovely hotel, couldn’t fault it. The location is perfect, next to the sea front but also next to a brilliant park with a boating lake and in easy walking distance for local amenities . The rooms are modern and very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable . Breakfast was included in the price of our stay and again I couldn’t fault it fresh and plenty of it and will also go the extra mile and cook fresh porridge and Manx kippers on request . I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Great service! We have door card issues in 205. We think it is the mechanism on the door. The hotel is a 10 minute walk into town. Great dinner options in town: Vellika Indian restaurant and The Square (great seafood). Amazing sunrises at 4am too. Free and easy parking. Breakfast is included and it is OK.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, bacon was poor quality at breakfast, apart from that the staff were excellent 👌

Breakfast on the first couple of days was excellent. Though we kept been switched from function room to the restaurant. It would be good if this was mentioned at check in just as a heads up as Sunday morning was then a buffet. There are limited dining options in Ramsey so stayed for dinner, it was a little chaotic due to staffing issues. The menu sounded lovely but the meal was bland, a bit dry and lack seasoning.

Stayed 3 nights. Really enjoyed it. The hotel was spotless, staff were excellent! Room quiet with a good view over the adjacent park/lake Loads of parking. Area very quiet at night. Right on the seafront. Breakfast was ok. Not great - buffet was luke warm and the quality of the hot food was poor imo. But I want to thank Ben on reception when we checked out for the help and compassion he showed in regards to another room I had booked - friends couldn’t fulfil due to a very sudden bereavement

Breakfast was adequate. Fairly decent choice of food. Poached eggs strongly tasted of vinegar. Scrambled egg was undercooked. Windows in bedroom were draughty. It was particularly windy, but you shouldn’t be able to feel the draught

Sehr schönes Hotel mit genialer Lage. Nur Sekunden zum Meer. Wenige Gehminuten ins Zentrum mit Restaurants und Pubs in großer Auswahl. Sehr ruhig. Große Zimmer. Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum und ganz besonders leckeres Frühstück. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren sehr kompetent, höflich und gastfreundlich. Ein wirklich schönes Hotel auf der Isle of Man. Wir kommen wieder.

Classic Lodge wasn't a large room but was adequate for our 5 night stay , room was maintained and serviced well although the bathroom had a musty damp odour ,and floor surface wasn't the best . Staff where very attentive and helpful .Restaurant and menue was limited but fine for one or two nights, Breakfast included was self service buffet just ok hit and miss whether it was hot or just warm , cereals and continental was also available as was a choice from the kitchen cooked to order .location great 10 mins from Ramsey Town and Bus Station/Tram Station .
