There is NO registration parking for checkin. I had to had my car keys over to a valet. Not a good start. Got checked in, went back to parking lot and brought a small cooler into the entrance of the hotel. I was met by a security guard wanting to look into the cooler. They noticed a bottle of wine and said it was not allowed. I told them that it was for in-room use and was denied. I then trekked back to the parking lot to off-load the wine. Food restaurants in the Casino were a long hike across the smokey Casino floor. When we got there, we were asked if we had a players club card. We did not. At that point, we were told that the wait would be about an hour implying that card holders had preferential treatment. The room was clean, but on the smaller side. There was no place to place our luggage flat in order to open it, except on the bed. It was cumbersome. General impression is that the Casino looks glitzy, but not functional for our one night stay. Next time we will pick a different hotel accommodation.

I really had a wonderful experience staying at viejas hotel & casino. I was a little disappointed with the lack of employees when we pulled in and parked. I didn't see any luggage carts available for anywhere to take a load our bags up on so we had to carry them all the way to the hotel entrance and then up to our room. VI really love the beautiful king sized bed in our room! I'd really love to find out what brand of mattress I need to find out what I couldn't believe how comfortable this bed really was! We checked in and took the elevator up to the room just to quickly drop off our luggage and we planned to freshen up and then &.head down to the casino to play the slot machines. I made a rookie mistake & laid down on our big kind sized bed. I had to see how comfortable this bed was and I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it actually felt. I screamed for my husband hurry up, get in here! I said you gotta try this bed out with me! It feels like a dream He literally was passed out cold within 2 min! I couldn't wake him for a couple hours.
