The building, the pub and the room were all lovely. Landlord and landlady were really friendly. The one thing that let it down was the stifling heat in our room. No fault of the owners as the weather was hot. But I think they need to consider air conditioning. Didn’t help that our room was over the kitchen. And the fan provided just moved the hot air round. At 2am we had to go and sleep in the car. I think we would have had heat stroke if we’d stayed in there. Such a shame as it was a really lovely room

Spit level room with plenty of space (room 1). Comfortable bed, massive walk in shower. Lots of clothes space. Onsite parking. Really pleasant staff who show you to your room. No breakfast option but did have porridge and coffee facilities. Will definitely stay again and would recommend.

Lovely clean, comfy room with good en-suite. Great staff and lovely atmosphere in the bar. Good location for exploring the area.
