The Dundas Arms

Nice location and a great beer garden. Stayed in river room and had lunch and dinner. Lunch was a decidedly mediocre burger for 20 quid. Dinner—fish and chips with minty peas—was excellent. Room had a lovely patio on the river but the room and furniture were tatty, especially so given the 131 quid price. Bed was quite comfortable, though. Breakfast was in an attractive breakfast room and was quite good. All in all only an OK place for the price, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.

Enjoyed our room although the shower was somewhat temperamental - bath worked perfectly but shower was all pressure or a dribble Most friendly staff who were so helpful

Evening meal and breakfast was very good

Excellent one night stop as part of cycling the NCN4 cycle route. They were able to provide undercover storage for our bikes which was much appreciated.
